"This place looks like there are no people living here," Kara says.
"Yes, you're right, there are no people here," Seka responds.
"So that means you don't have any friends." Kara looks at Seka with a curious look.
She nods gently, saying no with a slight smile, and grabs her skirt.
Kara replies with a big smile, puts his hand on his chest, "Well, that's a relief." Kara replies after the nod. Seka looks confused and tilts her head.
"Why?" She asks.
"'Cause there will be no one coming in our way. My father said if your heart melts when you see someone, you fall in love, and that means you will need to protect her for life and propose immediately. Well, if she doesn't have anyone that she already likes. So—"
Seka backs up a little. "I—don't—" Seka responds.
"Wait, do you already have someone you like, Seka?!" Kara shouts in shock, grabbing Seka's shoulders.
He notices. "Oh, I am really sorry." Seka looks at Kara with her face all red.
"No, it's not that, it's just... I don't know what to do. My mother says I need to leave if I get married." She grabs Mizuno's hand and starts to tear up.
Kara gets saddened by her look," Hey, it's not forceful. I should never force a woman to do anything, my father said. You can just rej—"
Seka interrupts. "But I don't want that," she says in a cute and trembling voice, starting to wipe off her tears.
"Then" Kara says.
The King and Seka's parents come to the garden. "Where are they playing?" He sees them on the field and walks toward them.
"Hey son, we are about to—"
"I hereby confess my love to you, Seka, and promise that I will protect you for my whole life in every situation the world has to give me. And I promise to share every knowledge I know with you. Do you accept my proposal?" He kneels before Seka as he proposes.
"Wait, I taught you so you can get a woman when you get older, didn't expect you to get one at this age."
Seka's mother says, "Oh my, what a lovely boy. It's their first time meeting, isn't it, darling? I don't know what to say even. Now it's our daughter's turn."
Seka looks at him, all red. "I—I d— I would like to—"
Kira speaks. "My son, you make me proud. You learned what I taught you, but I am sad for you as no one accepts any—"
"I would like to accept your proposal." Seka accepts his proposal.
She runs toward her father and starts talking. "Father, something is happening, I think I feel very happy right now."
Seka's father shouts, "There is no way!" He starts to tear up. "No—no, Seka, my Seka, this is no fun. It's engagement, but I don't think I can do anything 'cause it's your own choice."
Seka's mom speaks. "Daelion, you should calm down. So, Seka, your heart is beating fast, you're really nervous, and you don't want any other girl to be with this boy, right?"
Seka replies, "Y—yes." She gets all flustered as she hides behind her father's clothes.
"Then that settles it. You two shall be engaged," the King speaks.
"Seka, my child, don't leave me, my preci—" Her father gets interrupted.
"So now I think their marriage should be done when they are around 19. You know we should not hurry things up," the king laughs. "Haha, right then, we shall do that. So then we shal—"
The King and Kara get out of the house. Kara gets super happy as he looks at his left hand—the finger has a ring-like glow.
Baam! There is a big explosion.
Kara gets shocked. The carriage driver comes to the King and taps his shoulder. "It's done."
Kara looks at his father, with confusion, still processing the sentence he heard.
The place starts to burn up as debris falls on the ground. Mizuno, who was standing outside with Seka, gets blown away by a slight force.
She gains consciousness, looks around with everything burning up, and notices Mizuno right beside her. She carries Mizuno on her back and runs off to the building. "Mama! Papa!" she shouts.
"Seka! Seka!" She hears her mom.
Seka looks around the building and finds her mother in the rubble. The fire has faded, with still a few places burning. The building has collapsed.
As Seka approaches, her mother shouts, "Seka, run far from here! I am sorry, I cannot do anything right now, but live—live as long as you can, all right."
She tries to approach her, but there is a explosion near, and she gets thrown, with Mizuno pushed a little.
"Mama!" Seka screams.
"Did you say something, my child?" A male voice.
A silhouette of a man with a slight grin on his face looks at Seka. The clouds start to cover the sky, and as the lightning flashes, Seka sees his face—
The king.
Seka's expression changes—shock and horror in her face.
The King speaks, "I will come for her later. First, Saejima Uminoryu."
She trembles in fear as she hears her mother's name. He starts to approach where her mother is.
"Seka!" Her father comes running with a bruised body, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Seka, look, my dear daughter—run from here far away and hide your identity as much as you can, and also don't forget to protect your brother."
Bang!
The rubble starts falling. Her father shouts, "Seka, go away from here, take your brother!"
"How did this happen?" Seka questions herself.
Her father runs to attack the king, but the king grabs him by the face. Seka takes her brother and looks back—she sees the king's silhouette grabbing her father and bursting his head in pieces.
She looks on in horror. "Wait... did he just—"
She puts her hands over her mouth as she vomits.
The king picks up her mother from the rubble.
"A dream... this is just a nightmare which will end in a s—"
The king punches a hole in her right eye, instantly killing her and taking her golden eye in his hand.
She pukes water and hears him speaking, "So beautiful... such a long time."
The eye starts to fade in his hands. "No, no, this is not right. Why is it disappearing?"
Her mother's eyes that the king plucked out fade into golden dust.
He glares at Seka.
She speaks to herself. "Yeah... I need to do as mom and dad said, right? Run from here and everything will be okay."
She tries to move.
"What... it's not moving."
She sits still with her brother in her hand as the king approaches.
"Yeah, it will end, won't it? With my prince and mom and dad dying, right?"
Seka talks to herself, looking at the king.
"Right, father? You will protect me?"
She sees the king smiling. "Of course I wil—"
Lightning flashes—she sees the grin on his face, full of pleasure.
He starts to speak. "That eye of yours looks quite good."
Boom!
Thunder strikes right on the king. Everything goes silent.
"God Kaelion..." She slowly opens her eyes as the rain pours down. "Thank you for at least sparing my brother? Is that what I'm supposed to thank you for?" she questions her god.
She grabs her unconscious brother, thinking, "Stronger... stronger."
She looks at the sky. "Mom, I tried to do what you said, right? Right?" Tears start to form in her eyes.
"Right?"
The teardrop falls on the ground as the rain pours heavily.
She sits there, unable to move, looking at the sky—smiling with tears rolling down.
The king, blown off a bit, starts to gain consciousness.
"Hey Seka, this is no time to sit!" A voice screams at her.
"Kara?" She looks at Kara.
He pulls her hand, takes her brother, and carries him on his back.
They start to run. They feel a strong force building.
Kara shouts, "Take him!" He gives Seka her brother.
Kara looks back—he sees the king slowly standing.
"Seka, jump! There's an opening to a small ravine."
She jumps, lands on the other side. The force gets stronger—the ravine cracks more, separating Kara and Seka.
He tells her to run away far.
"But what about you?" Seka asks.
"That lightning was my best spell I had learned. Already used my crystal power... please go. If I can't protect you, then I don't deserve your love…" he says.
Seka's golden eyes glow with tears like sprinkles of stars.
She looks back. "No... not now. I will become stronger…"
"I will become strong so that I can protect the one I love now—Mizuno, Chio, Kara!" She stands up—
Bukhis!
She moves so fast the sound barrier cracks.
She clashes with her opponent, Garry.
