"Lucien wake up it time to wake up birthday boy"! Lucien who only saw the dreaded nothingness in his head all night. Woke with a fright then relaxed when he saw the light of day. The sunlight seemed to hug him through the window.Heading to the bathroom mirror he got ready yet something seemed different in his reflection. His hazel eyes, and brown hair seemed darker than usual. He looked taller, older he imagined himself looking older at 18. The change seem exaggerated though as if his imagination came true.
He looked like an adult he knew he was one now. The look though made this seem more apparent. Throwing on some jeans and a t shirt Lucien ran to the kitchen. The smell of maple syrup in the air pancakes. "Morning mom"! "Lucien you look older already I am surprised! Thanks mom I must of hit a growth spurt! Sitting down at the kitchen table to eat his pancakes.
I can't believe I had to wake you this morning Lucien. Usually your waking me did you spend time last night with your friends. "Yes mom me and Erik hung out together last night ". Lucien it time I go to work and it time for you to go to school. Tonight we will need to talk about some family matters though. Lucien raised his eyebrows family do mean I finally learn something about grandpa. "Yes you learn something about grandpa now forget about it for now and head to school.
Now it takes Lucien usually 30 minutes to get to school in his car. Today he decided to speed whipping around curve after curve. He was being very reckless suddenly their was a pop. The car screeched Lucien scared imaging the worst the worst happened . The car rolled out of control down the hill.
Lucien who didn't wear his seat belt shot out of the windshield. His body slamming against a tree. Sharp pain shot through his body.No this isn't happening Lucien thought. I must be having some sort of dream a first time for anything. Think I am fine I haven't left the house I am okay.
Closing his eyes he saw a strong light shining. A woman flickered into his mind "You can't die yet remember who you are my son what you can do! You need to fix yourself first then the others. Suddenly the world grew dark Lucien life flashed before his eyes . Except it wasn't his life.
A man performing miracles Raising the dead, creating new life. Various unimaginable things ran through his mind. Grasping for life Lucien started to imagine that he was waking up in his bed. Then darkness covered the world. "Lucien wake up it time to wake up birthday boy.!"
Screaming getting out of the bed Lucien wrapped his arms around his body. He was completely alright how. Was that a dream I never dreamt before. It must have been though. Running to the bathroom mirror Lucien looked exactly how he had in his dream. Shocking Him even more what was happening.
Throwing clothes on and running down to the kitchen. The smell of maple syrup in air Lucien head towards his mom and hugged her. "Good morning Lucien what gotten into you"! Mom I don't know I guess a had a bad dream. It okay It happens to everyone Lucien. Now eat your breakfast dear it almost time for us to leave for work and school.Tonight we need to talk about some family matters.
You mean grandpa mom don't you said Lucien startled. "Yes you learn something about grandpa now forget about it for now and head to school. Lucien ran out to his car checking it over. A red dash light shone in the dashboard. Huh I guess I shouldn't drive my car. Pulling out his phone he called Erik his best friend
"Hello Lucien happy birthday my guy what up"! Erik Can you pick me up for school today my car has a red dash light on it. "Alright I be right there man"! 8 minutes later Erik arrived in his pickup truck. Alright get in Lucien hoping into the pickup truck.
During the ride to school Lucien look at where he crashed earlier. Umm Erik you ever experience deja vu after a dream.I can't say I have why. I guess I had a dream that I crashed my car here . I swear the same cars have past us . Lucien dude don't jinks us for the love of Solus don't jinx us. If I wreck it your fault!
Finally arriving to school Lucien and Erik rushed to class. It was the last day of school before winter break. So thankful they didn't have to do much of anything today. Lucien sitting at desk zoned out thinking of his dream. I feel like I am going insane Lucien thought. Today just too strange I should be happy I am an adult yet. It feels like the whole universe wants me to remember something I forgotten.
Lucien looked hard colors seemed to be very vibrant today. His senses seemed on over drive. Hearing a thunderstorm of footsteps he looked up. The rest of the class had arrived happy birthday Lucien some of them seemed to yell. As they entered the room now all that was waiting was for the teacher miss Webb to arrive.
Once miss Webb arrived she greeted everyone. "Hi class today we are going to be watching a movie. The life of Solus was put on. It showed Solus performing miracles gifting his 10 disciples the ability also. At the end of the movie Solus made himself mortal. Dying old age claiming he be reborn.
Lucien who was very interested in miracles today paid close attention to the story. He thought it seemly eerily familiar but also all wrong. I wonder why Solus decided to die he seemed to have it all. I use to not believe in Solus but after that dream I don't know what to believe anymore.The end of the school day came following Erik out the school to his pickup.
"Hey Lucien what with you today you were zoned out all day." Erik asked. I don't know Erik I had a vivid dream this morning. Everything looks and feels different today and not in a bad way." Your not on drugs are you Erik asked. God no Erik I just having a day I guess.
