The Justice Brigade was celebrating Halloween. They wore their superhero costumes as their Halloween costumes. Once they were dressed, they went out trick-or-treating. While they were trick-or-treating, Muffy used her cauldron to conjure a spell. Flamer knocked on the door, and Muffy said, "Come in." Flamer walked in and said, "Hi, Muffy. Up to no good, I trust." Muffy kept stirring her cauldron and said, "I'm going to have revenge on the crew that defeated us. By making this Halloween a Halloween that they'll never forget. Watch; in a minute, they'll appear in the cauldron." The Justice Brigade appeared in Muffy's cauldron, and they saw them trick-or-treating in Transylvania. Muffy said, "Excellent. They're all in Transylvania. Probably the scariest place on Earth. Time to cast my spell." Muffy used her magic to cast a spell on all of Transylvania. Once she did, a green fog covered all of Transylvania, and Muffy laughed evilly when she saw her spell taking effect.
Once the spell was unleashed, Heatgirl became suspicious. She looked up into the sky and saw Muffy's spell twirling around in the clouds. Heatgirl said, "Guys. Do those clouds look greenish to you?" Sungirl said, "Come on, Heatgirl, it's Halloween. It's not like anything terrible is going to happen." Heatgirl looked back at the clouds and was still a little curious. Then, they continued trick-or-treating. While trick-or-treating, they saw a giant praying mantis attacking the town and devouring people's cars. Once they saw it, they put their candy down, pulled up their sleeves, and got ready to fight. Sungirl said, "Justice Brigade, attack!" Sungirl flew up to the prey mantis' face and punched it. Then, Heatgirl socked the prey mantis in the stomach. Iceboy shot it with his Ice Beam Eyes and froze it solid. Then Aquaboy gently flicked it, and it broke into pieces.
After beating the giant prey mantis, Heatgirl looked down and saw her heat sense going off. She looked behind them and saw her heat sense pick up a headless horse rider with a flaming pumpkin head and glowing eyes. The Justice Brigade then grabbed their trick-or-treat bags and ran for their lives. While running from the headless horseman, Heatgirl blasted him off his horse with her Heat Ray. Before the rider got up, the Justice Brigade hid in a supermarket that was being haunted by five monsters. They tried to reach the back door, which was reserved for employees only, but then the lights started to flicker and eventually went out. Sungirl said, "Blackout?" Then a ghost showed up, and The Justice Brigade screamed. Sungirl said, "I'm on it. You guys head for the exit." Sungirl flew up and said, "Catch me if you can, Spooky." Sungirl flew away, and the ghost flew after her. Then, her team headed for the exit while Sungirl dealt with the ghost. Sungirl flew down one of the aisles, and the ghost chased after her. Then she landed on one of the shelves and waited for the ghost to come. Once it did, Sungirl shot one of her Sun Beams through a magnifying glass, making it giant. Once the light hit the ghost, the ghost screamed and then disappeared. Sungirl said in her communicator, "The ghost is taken care of, so I'll be joining you soon." Iceboy whispered in his communicator, "No rush. We have another problem." Heatgirl, Iceboy, and Aquaboy spotted a werewolf eating the meat in the aisle. Then, a bat flew over Sungirl, turning into a vampire. Sungirl said in her communicator, "Now I have another goon to deal with." Iceboy whispered in his communicator, "So do we. That's our problem." Sungirl said, "This worked before." Sungirl shot her Sun Beam through the same magnifying glass she had used before, but the vampire turned into a rat and avoided her attack.
Meanwhile, the other Justice Brigade members were haunted by the werewolf. Since they were being hunted, Heatgirl, Iceboy, and Aquaboy split up. The werewolf sniffed on the ground and went after Heatgirl. Then Iceboy spotted a Frankenstein monster and hid from it, while Aquaboy spotted a mummy and hid from it. While dealing with the monsters, Muffy spotted them struggling in her cauldron. While avoiding the werewolf, Heatgirl saw Iceboy hiding from Frankenstein's monster. Heatgirl then surrounded it with a ring of fire and scared it. The beast said, "Fire bad." Iceboy then ran for it and saw the mummy launching his bandages at Aquaboy and wrapping him in them. Iceboy then froze the bandages, and Aquaboy broke free from them. Iceboy then used his powers to make an ice sculpture of a cat, and the mummy screamed at it. Iceboy then threw the cat sculpture at the mummy, and it landed on his back. Then he ran away, trying to get away from it. Aquaboy said, "He's scared?" Iceboy said, "Mummies fear cats." Then they heard Heatgirl scream and hurried to her rescue
Meanwhile, Sungirl was being chased by the vampire. The vampire then turned back into himself and waited for Sungirl. When she flew by, the vampire grabbed her. The vampire said, "So nice to see new blood quaking in fear." Sungirl said, "Let me go." Sungirl then glowed for a second and burned the vampire's hand. The vampire dropped Sungirl and said, "Ouch." Sungirl then shot the vampire with one of her Sun Beams, and it destroyed him.
After Sungirl got rid of the vampire, the boys found Heatgirl feuding with the werewolf. Aquaboy then grabbed a couple of sodas off the shelf, shook them up, and threw them at the werewolf. Then the sodas exploded and splashed the werewolf all over. Aquaboy said, "Heatgirl, run!" Heatgirl ran for her life, joined the boys, and they ran together. Then Sungirl joined them, and they headed for the back room to get out of the market since they had gotten rid of all the creeps. The werewolf chased after them, and when they made it to the back, they slammed and locked the door, but the werewolf broke it down. Iceboy then shot the ground with his powers and made the werewolf slip. Then they ran for the exit, and the werewolf followed. Once they got outside, Iceboy tossed Sungirl, and she knocked the werewolf into the store's dumpster. Then she slammed the top on him. Sungirl said, "Well, that should be all of them." Aquaboy said, "And our candy is safe in our backpacks."
The Justice Brigade hurried away and saw that to get back to their trick-or-treating spot, they would either have another round with the headless horse rider or go through the cemetery. The Justice Brigade opened the cemetery gates and walked in. Once they got in, they kept walking the trail until they reached the other side. While walking, a group of graves began to shake, and zombies started to emerge from them. Sungirl said, "Guys, run. No, fly." The Justice Brigade flew high into the sky so that the zombies couldn't catch up to them. Then, they flew out of the cemetery and landed outside the gates. Since they were still concerned about the zombies, they closed the gates. The zombies reached through the bars and tried to grab The Justice Brigade, but Iceboy locked the gates so the zombies couldn't get out. Then they fell to the ground and screamed upon impact.
Once they left the cemetery, they saw the town filled with monsters, and the citizens were running for their lives. Sungirl said, "Monsters galore." Iceboy said, "How is this happening?" Heatgirl looked up in the sky and said, "Does that answer your question?" The rest of The Justice Brigade looked up in the sky and saw green thunderclouds. Since there were too many monsters to fight, the Justice Brigade ran for it and tried to think of a way to stop this. While running, a wolf with glowing eyes appeared and scared the Justice Brigade. The Justice Brigade screamed and ran in the opposite direction. Then a general ghost stopped them, saying, "Go, go. Leave this place." Sungirl kicked the general ghost away and said, "Not until we stop this." Then, a green glow appeared ahead of them.
The Justice Brigade looked ahead and saw a green cloud appearing before them. Then the mist cleared, and Muffy appeared. Muffy said, "Hello, Justice Brigade." Heatgirl said, "Muffy? You're behind this?" Muffy said, "Indeed, I am. I've cast a spell on Transylvania and turned it into a more horrifying place than it already is. Now, these monsters will take charge of the Earth. The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, Killer Gnomes, Aliens, the creeps you've already beaten, and any other creature you can imagine. They're all here, and they'll all rule." Aquaboy said, "We'll stop it." Muffy said, "Good luck. I'm a witch, and this is Halloween. So this spell will be permanent when the clock strikes midnight, and no one can stop me." Muffy then laughed evilly and said, "At last. I win." Then, a carnivorous plant monster came, and Muffy left. Muffy flew up and said, "Have fun, Justice Brigade. Ta ta." Muffu then disappeared in a puff of smoke and laughed evilly when she did.
After Muffy left, the Justice Brigade dealt with the carnivorous plant monster. Sungirl said, "Iceboy, you've dealt with plants from Plant Man before; you can freeze this guy, too." Iceboy said, "Worth a try." Iceboy shot the plant monster with his Ice Beam, but it kept growing and growing, so Iceboy kept blasting it until the whole thing was frozen solid. Iceboy then flew up to it, smashed into it, and destroyed it. Iceboy said, "I wish all bad guys were this easy." Heatgirl said, "I just wish there weren't so many." The Justice Brigade looked around and saw witches, warlocks, ghosts, and goblins everywhere. Aliens were blasting people with freeze rays and freezing them with ice, garden gnomes were trying to kill people, the invisible madman was causing chaos, and the Abominable Snowman of Pasadena was destroying the town. Sungirl was tired and said, "Oh, I can't take much more of this."
Muffy watched everything in her cauldron and saw The Justice Brigade tiring out and her monsters still terrorizing Transylvania. Muffy glowed her hand and said, "Strike my mini minions, strike." A bunch of bugs flew towards The Justice Brigade, and The Justice Brigade screamed since they were so big. Heatgirl then smashed a store's window, took the swords from the knight in the window, and used them to slice the bugs. Then, a bunch of garden gnomes came to The Justice Brigade and attacked them. One threw a knife at Sungirl, but it missed. Sungirl then ran while the gnomes grabbed her ankles and made her fall to the ground. One jumped on Iceboy's face, and Heatgirl whacked it with a frying pan, destroying it and hitting Iceboy in the process. Then, Heatgirl destroyed them by blasting them with her Heat Beams. Iceboy froze the gnomes in ice by blasting them with his Ice Beams. The gnomes tied up Sungirl, but Aquaboy blew them away and untied Sungirl. Then they ran from the gnomes, but when they tired out, they stopped.
Once they stopped, the Justice Brigade had a team meeting. Iceboy said, "Ok, we're pooped from all this fighting and running; now, what do we do?" Heatgirl said, "Yes, these monsters are beating our butts." Sungirl closed her eyes and looked down as if she would give up. Sungirl said, "I don't know." Sungirl said, "Guys, I hate to admit it, but I think we've met our match." Aquaboy screamed and said, "That's what Muffy wants. We can still kick her butt." Sungirl said, "Wait, that's it." Heatgirl said, "What's it?" Sungirl said, "We don't have to stop the monsters; we must stop Muffy. If we beat her, we stop the spell, and everything returns to normal." Iceboy said, "And we better do it fast because you heard what Muffy said; her spell will be permanent at midnight, and that's in 1 hour." Iceboy pointed at the clock tower, and the Justice Brigade saw it was 11 o'clock.
The Justice Brigade flew to Beverly Hills, and upon arrival, they found it was 1:30 PM. Iceboy said, "30 minutes until it's midnight in Transylvania. While the Justice Brigade was searching for Muffy, Transylvania dealt with ghosts with pumpkin heads, goblins flying around, living skeletons, and witches. The Justice Brigade ran into Muffy's house, up the stairs, and headed for Muffy's room. Once they got there, they kicked the door open. Sungirl said, "Freeze. We may not have much energy left, but we have enough to take you down." Muffy said, "You can dance with me for as long as you like. I'm winning in 20 minutes." Muffy looked at the clock and saw it had turned to 1:40, so The Justice Brigade had 20 minutes to stop her before her spell was permanent in Transylvania.
Muffy whistled, and Flamer came into the room. Muffy said, "Finish them while I finish the world." Flamer turned into a ninja and kicked Sungirl away. Iceboy then froze the floor, and Muffy and Flamer slipped on the ice. Then Heatgirl tried to punch Muffy, but Muffy grabbed her arm and threw her to the wall. Iceboy kicked Flamer, but Flamer bounced back as a ball and hit Iceboy away. Iceboy was running low on energy. Iceboy said, "I can barely move." Iceboy then looked at the clock and saw they still had 10 minutes. Aquaboy said, "Hey, Flamer. You want me? Come and get me." Flamer turned into a ball and bounced towards Aquaboy. Then Aquaboy hit the deck while Flamer hit Muffy's cauldron, and her potion spilled. Once it did, the spell broke in Transylvania, and all the monsters disappeared. Then Transylvania cheered, and the Justice Brigade put on their best expressions. Muffy then stood ahead of them and said, "Oh, don't look so smart, Justice Brigade. You may have won this lucky victory, and you know it. In time, you will fall, and we will defeat you. So enjoy your glory while you can because no villain quits until their nemesis is destroyed." Muffy then snapped her fingers and made herself and Flamer disappear. Since they still had a few hours before Halloween night in their city, the Justice Brigade collapsed and fell asleep since they were so tired from all the fighting they had done in Transylvania.
