Walking back, Auden thought back to every sentence that he had spoken to Hermionie checking whether he had made a mistake of some sort or not with his conversation. But to his relief, he found nothing.
He was not planning on advising like this to her, but he realised it was better for her to plan ahead for Harry's life in the future as he had already got an answer for his earlier question.
Whether Harry's difficult life with his uncle and aunt was because of him being a horcrux or not and why did it not affect his close friends while made it easier for others to implicate him negatively at every bad incident.
A living horcrux is different from an inanimate one since an inanimate one does not have a soul or consciousness. But a living horcrux has a will and soul of their own. So, the hateful aura of the horcrux will depend upon the image of the person who had been turned into a horcrux. And unlike an inanimate horcrux which only radiates to those who are close by, a living horcrux has the ability to spread to an entirely unbelievable range.
Vernon and his family had a negative view towards anything magical. So, Harry's entire existence was something they were not ready to accept. So, this created a negative view which amplified the Horcrux's hateful existence resulting in a childhood where Harry was abused heavily by his family.
Later Harry met his friends and the Weasley family that did not have any animosity towards him, this in turn made sure that they were not affected by the negative aura of the Horcrux.
Now back to why Harry was considered as a bad person at every turn is very simple. Harry was introverted, other than his friends at the Gryffindor tower, he rarely makes friends with the members of the other houses.
For the students of the other houses, the individual known as Harry Potter is a complete mystery. They only know of him as the boy who lived, the boy who as a child had taken out one of the greatest dark lord the wizarding world of Britain had seen in the last few decades.
So, when anything bad happens and Harry potter is related to it, the default emotion that people have towards him is fear which in turn is amplified by the Horcrux which turns everyone against him almost instantly. Common sense goes out of the window and the gossiping habit of kids at the age amplifies and creates more rumours that further increases the animosity that Harry faces from those around him.
This had started from his second year when he unknowingly revealed that he had Parseltongue to his later year when he screamed out to the world that Voldemort had been revived, every individual who hoped that Voldemort stayed dead resented Harry for saying that the dark lord had returned. And Harry's horcrux amplified this resentment, making the entire student body and the wizarding world stand against him until it was proven with proof that Voldemort had returned.
The first time Auden found about it in the books he had recorded from the restricted section, he was unable to believe it at all. The fact that a living horcrux having the ability to affect a large number of people not even close to it was not normal. So, he had brought out every material pertaining the Horcrux and asked Rowena about it.
She confirmed the dangerous fact about the living Horcrux. That made Auden realise that the simple description of the spell he had known before is not enough to describe the effects of this dark ritual. Auden realised that circumventing death through this method had many consequences unknown to most of the wizarding world.
'I should start a research on souls.' Auden decided at the time
So, Auden decided to share the information for now, so that Harry can have a few more allies in the future. Cause he was sure Dumbledore will not help him in this regard. Dumbledore has a lot of trust issues due to his past.
This was why in the cannon Dumbledore did not support Harry by too much and forced him to do many things on his own. It can be argued that Dumbledore was trying to give individuality to Harry, but most of the time it could have been easier to teach Harry about his place in the wizarding world politics.
So, for now, Auden had done what he can to help Harry Potter. Whether he listens to his advice or not depends on him from now on.
Auden walked back to the lakeside and went back to reading while sitting with Luna silently. After a few moments, he heard an angry shout from the direction of Dumbledore's office.
He smiled.
He had chosen this part of the forest not only because it was peaceful, but also because it was closer to Dumbledore's office. Most people would not have been able to find anything, but Auden's hearing can help him to listen to what was happening in the headmaster's office.
And right now, he can hear the angry shouts given out by Lucius Malfoy who was knocked back by an attack from his own house elf who had gained its freedom.
"Did something happen?" Luna asked seeing Auden's smile.
"Yeah, something interesting, I will teel you about it later" Auden replied.
At the same time inside the castle.
"Dumbledore!! I came here to ensure the safety of my son who was hurt while under your supervision, but instead you have made a mockery of me by freeing my servant without my permission!!" Lucius roared in anger while Pomphrey mended a few wounds in his body.
Dumbledore was actually dumfounded at what had happened right now. He knew that Lucius was right to be angered with him. The book that Dumbledore passed to him to check his reaction somehow contained a sock which freed Dobby when dobby accidentally opened it when Lucius gave it to him.
'Did I put it in there by accident?' For the first time in a long time, Dumbledore began to doubt his sanity.
A/N- hope you like it.
