"No need. My cousin owns the bar. If I charm him a little, he will let us in for free. Come on, let us go."
I gave a small nod and climbed into his car.
"Sit here in the backseat," Keturah said, already making himself comfortable at the back.
"No, I want to sit in front. You are the driver, Keturah," I replied, rolling my eyes at him.
He only made faces at me while I ignored him. The ride felt quiet with Kent focused on driving, but Keturah kept chattering beside me, bringing up my recent meeting with Kristian.
"Stop it," I told him, already feeling embarrassed.
"Why? It is not even a big deal," he teased.
I turned to him and gave him a look that should have been enough to warn him.
"Alright, alright! Fine. How far is this bar anyway? Where exactly are we going?" he finally asked Kenji with impatience.
"Jensdrink," Kenji answered.
