Athilda's pov
"Come on!" I just nodded and let the five of them come along.
"Mommy, we are just going to the bathroom," I said. She nodded without looking away from the female senator she was talking to.
We stood up from our seats, trying not to attract attention, but almost everyone was watching us and murmuring.
"There you go, Athilda. People are staring at you again," Nurse Eria teased.
"I swear, every time you are with us, we get all the attention," Nurse Sati added.
"She is the celebrity, and you are the personal assistant," Dr. Elaiza said, making them laugh.
"You are so mean, Doctora!" Sati replied playfully.
I stayed quiet and kept walking. My face was blank, but inside I felt awful.
"Wait, look, it's Dr. Enzo." Dr. Aira pointed, making me hesitate.
"Oh, he's with the president's daughter," Dr. Elaiza said under her breath. My curiosity won, and I turned to look.
