Chapter 13 - A Cold Mind Behind a Warm Smile

Rudra stood in front of the mirror. He wore a plain white shirt and simple black jeans, looking like any other college student. But the eyes staring back at him… they weren't normal. They were calm. Too calm.

The type of calm that scares even monsters.

"Time to visit the next target," he whispered with a smile. "Let's make the world better—one villain at a time."

Target Locked: Professor Sameer Ghosh

Sameer Ghosh, age 39.

Respected literature professor at Royal Horizon University.

He was loved by students. He made jokes in class, supported students emotionally, and always stood up for "female empowerment."

But…

The man wore a mask better than anyone Rudra had seen.

Even his victims didn't realize they were being used… until it was too late.

That made Rudra angrier.

"I'll not just expose him. I'll break his character completely."

Laying the Trap

Rudra didn't move in a hurry.

He spent one whole week attending Professor Sameer's classes. Sat silently, taking notes, smiling politely like the perfect student.

Sameer noticed him.

"Mr… Rudra, right?" the professor asked one day after class.

"Yes sir."

"You have a very sharp face. Ever thought about writing poetry? You have that sadness in your eyes."

Rudra smiled. "Not really, sir. I just read… and watch."

"Oh? Watch what?"

"Everything."

Sameer laughed, not catching the hidden threat.

The Spider's Web

One night, Rudra followed Sameer after class.

He saw him meet a girl behind the library.

She was smiling nervously. Holding an assignment paper.

Rudra took out his mini drone and sent it above.

Audio. Video. Angle-perfect.

Sameer's voice was soft but poisonous.

"If you want an A+, you'll have to give me something too, Meera."

The girl hesitated.

He leaned closer.

"You've come this far, right? You know how many girls would love to take your place?"

Breaking the Illusion

Next morning, Rudra visited Meera.

She looked shocked when he told her what he saw.

"You… you recorded that?" she whispered.

"Yes. But don't worry. I'm not here to blackmail you."

"Then why?"

"To punish the real villain."

She stared at him. Then slowly, tears gathered in her eyes.

"You're… not normal."

"No," Rudra smiled. "I'm not."

The Show Begins

That evening, Sameer was hosting a poetry event at the college auditorium.

A big event.

Full house.

College management, students, guests—all gathered.

Sameer walked up the stage, dressed like a hero.

Just as he was about to speak, the screen behind him flickered.

A voice echoed across the hall.

"Before the poem, let's hear a different kind of story…"

Gasps.

Then the video played.

Sameer. The girl. The blackmail.

Every word. Every line.

The audience froze.

The man who used to inspire them was now shown as a predator.

Meera stood up from the audience.

"I was scared. But I won't be anymore. He used me. He threatened me. But I'm not silent now."

One by one, more girls stood up.

"He said he'd fail me."

"He used my family problems."

"He made me feel like I owed him."

The auditorium became a storm.

College staff rushed forward. Police were called.

Sameer tried to escape, but Rudra was already blocking the door.

"Where do you think you're going, sir?" he whispered.

Sameer's mask fell. He looked pale. Old. Weak.

"You… who are you?"

"I'm the person you didn't count on."

Another Mission Complete

That night, news spread like wildfire.

"Famous Professor Exposed Live in Event!"

"Anonymous Savior Strikes Again."

Some people called the unknown vigilante a hero. Others called him a criminal.

But Rudra didn't care.

He leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath.

The world felt just a little cleaner.

"But I'm just getting started," he said, eyes burning like quiet fire.
