The next day, Jay and his father were busy in their backyard, both having agreed to build an underground cellar.
After much deliberation, they finally decided to build the cellar behind their house.
The exact location was right next to the wall of their house. This location was out of sight.
Their house's location at the very back of the village gave Jay's family an advantage.
The exception was a few people going to the Adam Mountains forest, who would have to pass through their house.
There would be practically no villagers passing by the road in front of their house, especially due to the current situation.
No one intended to leave their homes, making it easier for Jay and his father to dig a cellar to store food.
It took them at least two days to complete the cellar, with the entrance being about half a meter deep.
Jay and his father created a room measuring approximately 7 x 5 meters, working overtime until the evening.
Finally, on the second day of digging, the two of them completed the cellar.
To strengthen the structure of the cellar and prevent landslides, they added numerous wooden beams to the cellar.
These served to support the cellar. They then coated the walls and floor with baking soda.
After finishing, Jay handed over the remaining finishing touches to his father.
As for Jay, he decided to find an excuse to go to the cave he had discovered to start storing food there, as instructed by his grandfather.
Before doing all of this, Jay went to see his grandfather and asked for the money for the food.
Although Jay could have handed over the food first, to avoid arousing suspicion, he still asked for the money.
After asking for the money, Jay said goodbye to his grandfather and headed towards the cave he had chosen.
It took Jay almost an hour to return to the cave he had chosen, after checking that no one was there.
After ensuring that no animals could enter, Jay then began placing a large amount of food, consisting of rice, potatoes, and sweet potatoes, into the cave, and provided a base to prevent spoilage.
Since he was to report the food to his extended family the next day, around the 4th, he needed to store it for at least a day and a night.
However, to prevent any untoward incidents, Jay left a shadow clone just in case.
He then created two additional shadow clones, one to go to the sub-district to check the situation there and see how the black market was reacting to the current situation.
He also determined whether there was any food for sale, and if so, how much, and how much stock the vendors had.
As for the other clone, Jay ordered it to go to the neighboring area to assess the actual situation there.
Jay did this because he realized he needed concrete information about what was really happening, and he could only get that information by seeing it for himself, represented in this case by his clone.
After making many arrangements, Jay then decided to return to his village and ask Ameno to teach him ninjutsu again.
After all, this time with the changes that had occurred, he needed to make some additional arrangements to better prepare himself.
Upon arriving home, Jay, who Seeing that his father had resolved the basement problem in their house, he felt relieved that they could now start storing food.
Afterward, he found Ameno and asked her to return to teaching him ninjutsu in their secret place.
"Honey, I want to go back to learning the water ninjutsu you wanted to teach me," Jay expressed his intention to learn ninjutsu to Ameno.
"Okay, let's practice, but unfortunately, I don't know what type of Chakra you possess yet, so I can only see what your abilities are first before I can teach you." Ameno seemed to remember that she had initially only taught Jay how to purify Chakra.
After learning that Jay's talent was excellent, Ameno was delighted and happy, so she began teaching him the basics of ninja and the taijutsu she had mastered.
Until yesterday, during their last training session, Ameno promised Jay that she would teach him the water ninjutsu she had mastered.
But Ameno forgot that Jay had never tested Jay's Chakra element.
If this were in the ninja world, Ameno would simply have to find Chakra paper to test it, but unfortunately, in this world, there was none.
And Ameno herself never imagined she would need Chakra paper, so there was no such item in her current ninja equipment.
So, there was only one solution left for Ameno: to test it with water ninjutsu directly.
"We'll find out when we train," Jay replied casually.
He wasn't worried about whether she lacked a specific Chakra element within her body, given her spatial abilities and the development she had made thus far.
Jay knew she definitely possessed at least two Chakra elements within her body.
And after the two arrived at their training ground, Ameno immediately told Jay about the water ninjutsu she had mastered.
"Honey, I'm going to demonstrate basic water ninjutsu: mizudeppo (water gun) forming seals."
Ameno immediately drew a medium-sized water gun. It shot out quickly and struck a nearby rock.
When Ameno's water gun struck the rock, Jay was shocked by its power, as it immediately split and shattered.
Seeing this, Jay could imagine it was like a water cannon from a riot police car, only several levels stronger, capable of destroying a rock over 2 meters in size.
"Wow...you're amazing, honey," Jay praised, watching Ameno's skillful execution.
"Now it's your turn," Ameno replied with a smile and invited Jay to try.
