Carl sat in a corner nursing his glass but not drinking. Other than saying hello to Noah and Vance when he walked in, he hadn't said another word. His mind was a mess, and he just wanted some quiet to get himself together.
Oliver walked into the private room and pulled down his shades when he spotted Carl. He turned to Noah and Vance, who were snacking on fruits as they also watched Carl, gesturing silently.
Both of them shrugged in response. We don't know.
Oliver sighed and walked to sit beside Carl. "Why are you moping around? Had a fight with your boyfriend?" he teased.
Carl was silent, and Oliver almost thought he was going to be ignored. Finally, Carl muttered, "I don't have a boyfriend."
