With that, Anthony walked to the door and, after promising the others to be back soon, he disappeared down the hallway.
Alex, Mary, and Stella exchanged glances. Alex folded a paper plan and threw it at Ryan.
It hit Ryan right on his glasses, causing him to look up. "Are you that bored?"
"No," Alex smirked. "I just wanted to get your attention."
Ryan picked up the plane and threw it right back. "Now you have it."
"So, you two are having a date on the mountain," Stella said, leaning back in her chair.
"It's for our project. One of the insects we're working with needs to be observed in nature, and they also only appear at night. We'll be back by morning with our findings and compare them with the results we got from the ones in the lab."
"How romantic," Mary clapped. "I also want to spend the night on the mountain."
"There's nothing romantic about staying awake all night surrounded by mosquitoes."
