The Jackson family was taken to an untraceable warehouse in an abandoned town where they're held hostage. Turns out these gunmen were soldiers. Ultranationalists, Russian PMCs. And their leader is much worse, his name is Vladimir Makarov.
"Мы наконец встречаемся (We finally meet), although you look powerless than I expected.", said Makarov.
"What do you want from us?", asked Cade as he was scared.
"Просто на самом деле. (Simple really.) I want to make an example out of you three.", said Makarov as he threatened.
The Jackson family grew terrified and more scared as they got ready to face death.
"Please! You don't have to do this!", begged Carol.
"Oh? But I want to. Besides, what good will letting all three of you live do, eh?", asked Makarov.
As 3 hours have passed, Makarov gives the order to execute the parents first. Forcing poor Ezra to watch them die first. As he was grabbed and forced to watch the final moments of his parents, Ezra said, "If you kill them, I will find you for this, Makarov. And I will hunt you down. And I will kill you!"
"Посмотрим... (We'll see...) Kill them!", Makarov yelled as he gave the order.
"Mom! Dad! Nooooooo!! You bastard! I will kill you for this!", screamed Ezra.
Makarov then killed Ezra Jackson and thought that he had joined his family, and that would be the end of that. After Makarov killed the Jackson family, he and his PMCs already abandoned the location. Later on, many days had passed and two figures appeared mysteriously in the untraceable warehouse. One looked like a highly evolved caveman, and the other looked like a master sensei of some sort.
"This is the one. I can sense it", said mysterious figure 1.
"Yes. I see where your chosen 'vessel' is now. And I can feel its aura. Take him and let's go. The rest we'll take and cremate.", said mysterious figure 2.
And so, the deceased Ezra was taken to a different dimension, where he will be brought back to the Land of the Living. The architecture of the world seemed very familiar as if it were in China. Or something. Maybe somewhere else in eastern Asia. Then, the pit was glowing with green ooze of immortality. The people at the temple, where the glowing green pit turned out to be a Lazarus Pit? They now wrapped Ezra's corpse like a mummy in Egypt, preparing him for resurrection. While the ritual was in progress, one of the figures gave Ezra's corpse a mysterious artifact called: The Totem of the Undying Reaper. Now, the Totem combined with the Lazarus Pit, the ritual to resurrect Ezra Jackson has begun!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! AAAAAAH! AAGGHH! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!?", screamed Ezra as he was resurrected back into the Land of the Living. As the Totem is combined with the Lazarus now flows through him, he is now reborn out of Pure Immortality, Vengeance; for The Harbinger is born!
