Zion exhaled sharply, taking in the human world he never thought he'd have to return to.
The last time he'd left, he was confident neither him nor Lohan was ever going to to have a reason to come back. He had concluded their business in the human world was done and completed. But yet, he was dragged back all thanks to their tangled web of emotions and unresolved issues.
He was back for only one reason and without hesitating for even a moment, he made his way straight to Rosaline's house. But now that he was finally standing outside the house, the faint glow of her porch light casting long shadows on the pavement, he suddenly didn't feel as confident as he did the moment he left the pack without even informing Lohan.
He approached the door then hesitated. What would he even say to her? What exactly was his grand plan? In what way could his presence even help change things?
