Chapter 5 - Leon is dizzy [3]

Leon gazed out the car window and turned to Lilian.

"Sis, when will you have some free time?"

Lilian, who was driving, glanced at Leon through the rearview mirror.

"Maybe in two or three days. Why do you ask?"

"I'd like to visit your university campus. Could you accompany me?"

Rinia, checking her reflection and adjusting her makeup, immediately turned and looked at her sister with curiosity.

"Do you want to tour the campus? I'm coming too!"

Leon shook his head.

"This is a campus visit. After all, I'll be studying there for a few years. I'm curious about campus life, and besides, you mustn't skip classes."

"Oh?~~Are you looking forward to seeing pretty girls? Don't worry—big sis here knows some very beautiful girls. I'll introduce you to them~~" Lilian teased with a playful smile.

Rinia's expression turned cold. "Hmph, they're just vixens—not worthy of my brother!"

"What does that have to do with you?" Lilian asked.

"Of course it has everything to do with me!" Rinia retorted sulkily.

"It's not like that. If I want to get to know a woman, I don't need outdated methods." Leon shook his head. "I just point them out, and they're happy to become my girlfriend," he said proudly.

"Huh, narcissist!" Lilian and Rinia exclaimed in unison.

"Well, beautiful as they may be, I doubt they're prettier than my two sisters…" Leon sighed.

"Ah, finally a truth comes out of your mouth," Lilian said happily. After all, women generally care about their appearance, and compliments make them feel like they're flying.

That's also based on fact—Lilian and Rinia were indeed very beautiful.

Lilian had cream-colored hair, a graceful oval face, warm brown eyes inherited from Clara, a well-shaped nose, and soft lips that were breathtaking both when smiling and when pouting.

Not only that, Lilian had an alluring figure with large breasts—even larger than their mother's—adding extra charm to her beauty.

Even Leon found it hard to imagine any woman more beautiful than his older sister—though he had no romantic feelings toward her, of course.

As for his younger sister, Rinia, she was the kind of cold-yet-sweet woman—cool in demeanor but endearing, inheriting her father's cool character.

She had dull blonde hair like Leon's, an attractive face, and dark brown eyes that mesmerized anyone who stared too long.

Her body was still developing but more mature than that of her peers. Yet, her demeanor resembled their mother's more than their father's, making her irresistibly cute even when pouting.

Leon realized lately that Rinia had been taking more care of her appearance and occasionally teasing him. If not for her confession last night, he would have continued praising and indulging her.

"Leon… Leon!" Lilian called, pouting.

"Y-yes? What is it?" Leon snapped out of his daydream upon hearing his sister's voice.

"We've arrived," Lilian said.

"Ah…" Leon looked through the window at the school entrance. "That fast?"

Their school was a 30-minute drive from home. He hadn't noticed the time passing so quickly.

"Is there something wrong? Are you all right?" Lilian asked, watching him closely.

"Ah? I'm fine…" Leon caught sight of Rinia greeting her friend at the gate. "I'm okay," he said, opening the car door.

Thoughts of last night's events had been on his mind, and his plan for Rinia still gave him a headache. He felt somewhat disoriented.

"Thanks, I'll go ahead." Leon smiled and waved.

Lilian narrowed her eyes. "What's up with him?"

She had never seen her brother so lost in thought. Even during the drive, he had been daydreaming—anyone would notice he had a lot on his mind.

And Rinia had been acting strangely, too. She was different from usual; though she normally sweet-talked and teased Leon, there were certain limits. But today was different—she was even stealing glances at him, her eyes full of longing and… something ambiguous.

Rinia had always been very close to Leon—like magnets since childhood. His realization of her dependency wasn't new.

But today was different: she looked like a girl in love…

"Oh! What am I thinking?" Lilian shook her head. "It's impossible—she can't be in love with her own brother, can she?"

•••••

Leon followed after Rinia as she set aside her plan. Now, he just wanted to observe whether Rinia would act on what she'd said. If she didn't change, he would proceed with his scheme.

Switzerland was a somewhat liberal country—surely there were one or two people with an unusual preference, though many would oppose and ostracize them if discovered.

Even mocking or bullying was common.

If people found out Rinia loved her own brother, Leon couldn't predict what would happen…

He didn't want her to be treated the same way, so he hoped she would dispel such thoughts.

Leon smiled as he greeted Rinia's friend upon entering.

"Ahh! A senior greeted me—I'm so happy!" the girl nearly squealed as she patted Rinia's back. "Brother-in-law, brother-in-law, did you see that?"

"Don't call me brother-in-law!" Rinia frowned.

She had claimed Leon for herself alone—she wouldn't tolerate another woman getting close to her beloved brother, even if she was his friend.

"Let's go in!" Rinia said, following after Leon.

"Sis, I made you a packed lunch. No need to go to the cafeteria. I'll come to your classroom at break time!" Rinia said brightly, grabbing Leon's arm.

At home, she held back because their parents and sister were watching, but at school, she could act freely with the man she loved—after all, they were siblings.

"Here…" Leon hesitated a moment, but seeing the hopeful look in his adorable sister's eyes, he couldn't refuse and simply nodded. "Okay…"

"Hehe\~, see you later, Sis," Rinia said as she headed off to her classroom.

Leon sighed. "In the end, I still couldn't bring myself to say no…"

•••••

When Leon entered his classroom, he saw that most classmates had already arrived.

"Good morning, Leon\~" said a girl, winking at him.

"Good morning, Leon. Did you sleep well?" another asked.

"Good morning, everyone!" Leon smiled at them.

Sadly, only the girls in his class greeted him—none of the boys did, not even his good friend.

The boys just rolled their eyes or muttered disapprovingly.

Leon was used to it by now, so it didn't affect him much.

He walked to his seat as he heard his friend mutter.

"A nice day as usual, Prince?" said Alan, sarcastically.

Alan was a somewhat handsome Swiss guy with a defined face, brown hair, and grey eyes—very much your typical Swiss type.

"Well, I am quite handsome," Leon replied proudly.

"Tch, very narcissistic!" Alan grumbled.

"That's a fact, buddy." Leon clapped Alan on the shoulder.

"Hmph, get lost. I don't need a friend like you." Alan shrugged him off.

"Just admit you're jealous." Leon laughed.

"Fine, I'm jealous. Got a problem with that?" Alan snapped.

"Wow, buddy, you're admitting it now! Is that really you, Alan? Or your alter ego?" Leon narrowed his eyes.

"Hahaha, you jerk. You really pissed me off," Alan laughed as he pulled Leon into a friendly half-hug.

They bantered back and forth good-naturedly—nothing serious.

When the bell rang for class, they stopped joking.

Alan propped his chin in his hand and complained, "...I'll be studying abroad!"

"You've decided?" Leon asked, sipping water.

"Well, my mom's forcing me—if I don't comply, she'll freeze my bank card. What else can I do?"

"That's a good thing. Not everyone gets to study abroad. Aren't you excited to see new things?" Leon smiled.

"The problem is I don't know English!" Alan grumbled.

"Uh…" Leon didn't know what to say.

Language was indeed a major hurdle for students studying abroad.

Alan glanced at Leon from the corner of his eye. "Did you want to say something?"

Leon opened his mouth, not quite sure what to say, so he spoke from the heart.

"Good luck, then?"

"Tch, you're so boring. I just don't know what those crazy girls see in you."

Leon simply laughed hollowly.

He wasn't the best talker—mostly he just said what he thought, not elaborating much.

Soon the teacher entered the classroom, and another boring day at school began.

Since this was their final year, the teacher only covered a few important points they needed to know and remember.

He also reminded them to pursue higher education for a stable job and to help reduce unemployment.

He didn't want his students becoming idiots who only knew how to beg.

Leon wasn't sure if that was what a teacher should say…
