Jasper grew up as the Lord's youngest son. From a young age he'd been trained to be an elite spirit tamer.  His 10 siblings had all gotten a head start and were making legacies of their own. He was excited to begin his journey and live up to the expectations shoved on him. He'd never thought his life would turn out like this. 

On the day of his Ceremony, thousands watched him learn his affinity. He received the worst news of his life, and was immediately sent to rot in his room.  Not long later, his father disowned him, and told him to never associate himself with their family again.  His spirit affinity was a mark on the West family name.  

Fueled by years of resentment and injustice, Jasper set out into the world alone.  He vowed to create a legacy that would outshine his whole family's.  He'd prove them wrong.
