Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: Jocheyfer and Mark

The story began with a boy named Jocheyfer.

Like Jack, he lived a simple life with his family – his mother, father, and a younger brother. He wasn't the outgoing type. His world revolved around quiet routines and late nights in front of a screen.

His obsession? An online game called Valorant.

Every night, without fail, he logged in and played for hours. His favorite part wasn't the game itself – it was the company. He was always paired with the same teammate: a player named Mark.

Over the course of three to four years, they became more than just gaming partners. They became best friends.

They talked about everything – breakups, dreams, loneliness.

In Mark, Jocheyfer found someone who listened. Who understood.

Someone who never made him feel like a burden.

As Jocheyfer's 20th birthday approached, Mark brought up something unexpected.

"We've been friends for years now," he said one night,

"Don't you think it's time we finally meet in person? Give me your address – or we can meet somewhere."

Jocheyfer froze.

He trusted Mark – but still, he was just a voice behind a screen. A stranger.

He hesitated, laughed it off, and quickly changed the subject.

After that, things shifted.

Mark grew distant. Cold.

Then, he disappeared completely.

For days, Jocheyfer tried to reach him – texts, voice calls, game invites.

Nothing.

The silence was deafening.

Guilt twisted in his chest – Had he hurt Mark by rejecting him?

Then, three days before his birthday, Mark finally reappeared online.

"Sorry I vanished," he messaged.

"My grandmother was really sick. I had no signal. I didn't mean to scare you."

Jocheyfer felt a wave of relief. He didn't care about the details – he was just glad to have Mark back.

Then came another message:

"Your birthday's coming. I want to send you a gift – something valuable. For our friendship.

Send me your location."

Jocheyfer stared at the screen.

Something in him hesitated.

But this was Mark. The only one who'd been there for him through everything.

Maybe this was okay. Just a delivery. Nothing more.

He took a deep breath…

And sent the address.
