After walking for a while, Junichi eventually reached a clearing in the forest. He noticed a path leading to some distant houses surrounded by a wall with a huge gate. As he approached the gate, he saw a sign that read "Burakkuuddo", meaning Blackwood. He swiftly concluded that he had reached a village in this new world named Blackwood Village.
As he approached the gate, two guards noticed him and closed the gate. Upon arrival, the guards started asking his name and faction. Just as Junichi was about to say his name, a distant sound could be heard from the forest approaching the village. As the sound got closer, Junichi and the guards noticed a horde of black ogres with huge stone axes rushing the village gate.
Scared, Junichi started pleading with the guards to let him in, but the guards had completely closed the gate and moved into position to defend. As the horde got closer, the black ogres stooped as one of the ogres started coming forward towards Junichi. The ogre was a female who stood the tallest among the crowd and had white hair tied into locks. She was wearing an animal skin on her body with bones and animal skulls dangling from her clothes. As she approached Junichi, she said, "Matat ananonoo shida huhu komoba?"
"Uh… what the fuck do you mean?" screamed Junichi. After hearing Junichi's scream, the ogre princess approached him and leaned forward. Without another word, the princess lifted her axe and brought it down on Junichi's head. Junichi's body was split in two, and he died on the spot. While he was dying, he could only see the orges breaking the gate and rushing into the village.
Moments later, Junichi woke up as if he were in a deep sleep. As he looked around, he could see himself lying in a hut made out of bricks with a leather roof. After remembering what had happened, Junichi started screaming as to why he was still alive. Hearing his screams, a girl rushed into the hut.
"Hey! Are you okay, honey? Take it easy, you just woke up!"
As Junichi calmed down and looked towards the girl, he saw that she was probably the most beautiful thing he had seen since the loop started. She had long brown hair tied up with vines and small dandelions. Her dress was made of thin white linen that was completely revealing in several parts, complementing her smooth complexion.
The woman then started talking, "Honey, can you tell me what happened? I was out to pick some medicinal herbs when I saw you lying near the river… Your clothes were completely drenched in mud, so I washed them and hung them to dry." As he heard this, Junichi looked down and realised he was completely butt-naked and quickly grabbed a piece of cloth to cover himself.
"Was I just unconscious, or did you see something strange with my body?" asked Junichi
"By strange, if you mean your exceptional manhood, then, then yeah, you are different from the others", replied the woman while blushing.
Hearing this made Junichi blush as well, when he asked what this place was and whether she had heard about Blackwood Village. The woman then confirmed that Blackwood Village was right across the forest, about 15 miles from her house. She further exclaimed that she lives alone in the hut and rarely gets any visitors, and the ones that come never return.
While this did strike Junichi a bit weird, he didn't put much thought into the matter. Meanwhile, the woman said it was time for dinner, and she cooked a delicious meat stew just for Junichi. As she brought Junichi the bowl of stew, Junichi asked what her name was.
"Komorebi, but some people call me the Witch of the Black Forest."
Hearing this, Junichi's heart started to sink, as he was meeting a witch for the first time. However, seeing how beautiful she was, he was the least afraid of her and thought she was harmless. As he took a sip of the stew, he screamed with excitement at how tasty the food was.
"This stew is amazing, what's the meat?" asked Junichi, unable to hold his curiosity
"Just some adventurers who were lost in the forest this morning, plenty more where that came from."
