From the left side, Sia called out, "We're close too!"
Inside her mind, a single thought echoed: Veon... be safe. Be alive. Our main war is still ahead. Just survive... somehow.
After the brutal punch, Veon crashed into the ground with a heavy impact—thuddd!
Kaen, suddenly consumed by fury, roared, "Water Cannon Ultimata!"
A massive water cannon fired with explosive force.
Sumasu turned quickly, slashing the cannon in half with one clean motion—slash! The blast scattered into the air as he charged toward Kaen.
"You junk-ass brat!" he growled.
But just before he could reach Kaen, streams of blood-formed robes whipped out—wrapping around Sumasu's arms, legs, and neck, trapping him mid-charge.
Veon, still lying on the ground, coughed up blood.
"I... won't let you touch that mage," he gasped, "even if it costs my life…"
In his mind, he thought: Why do I feel something... familiar about that mage?
