"Baby, what's wrong?" Ivy asked in confusion, noticing Oliver suddenly deep in thought.
"Let's get out of here first," Oliver replied, taking Ivy's hand and pulling her along.
Murphy hadn't seen them when he arrived, but the same couldn't be said for when he left. On his way back down the stairs, he'd be able to see the entire first floor from above.
As soon as they got into the car, Oliver drove off quickly.
Then, he started explaining to Ivy what had happened—about what he had done to Murphy, and Murphy's plan to pay someone to kill him.
The problem was that the assassin wasn't weak.
As his girlfriend, Ivy was clearly the right person to discuss the matter with.
And she showed her quality as a woman with a sharp mind and academic excellence.
After hearing the story, she remained calm instead of panicking.
