"OH MY GOD!!!!" Zack shouted as he held Sora and shaking her as he held onto her shoulders with both hands.
"I have been given an admission into Bright Gold academy!!" Zack yelled with Joy as he couldn't believe it and at that moment their Mum came down from the upper floor without both of them noticing her as Zack danced around with happiness.
"Shouldn't you be more concerned on how you got the admission" Sora suddenly told him and that's when it hits him, because he didn't awaken during the awakening phase in the academy instead it was during his near-death experience that he had awakened. So, the question was how was this possible.
"This doesn't make sense how was I able to get an admission into a top academy like Bright Gold academy when no one saw me awaken?" Zack gave it a serious thought as he was skeptical.
"No need to think over it that much, it was a friend of grandpa who did the deed" their Mum suddenly speaks out.
"So, Mum was this your doing?" Zack asked as he looked at her with anticipation in his eyes. Seeing the anticipation in her Son's eyes she answered.
"Well I guess Yes" She said in a stressed tone as her hair was still mess for, she hadn't had the time to put it in order before hearing Zack's voice as he shouted.
Zack took a step forward and in the blink of an eye he came before his Mum and immediately laid flat on the ground and prostrated before her and showering her with praises that seemed nonstop.
"Mum you are the best, you are the greatest, you are my goddess, you are my Eyes when I can't see and my legs when I can't walk...." And so, he continued showering her with his praise.
"Alright cut off will you" she told him and Zack got up in a flash.
"Am at your Service Madam" he saluted like a solider.
"I said cut off" his Mum said with a jaded look in her eyes.
"Okay Mum" he Obeyed with a smile.
Meanwhile Sora was in stupor over her brother's sudden movement and agility.
"So, when are you leaving?" she asked him
"In letter it was stated I will be leaving next week on Monday" Zack said to his Mum.
"Time?"
"My departure is by 10am" he answered and his mum just shook her head and turned around to leave.
"Get ready Son, the capital won't be the same as Spectra city, expect the unexpected" she said as she walked away and leaving Zack to recount her words.
"Expect the unexpected? What does that even mean" Zack was left in thought.
"So, Zack does this mean you will be going to the capital?" Sora asked
"Yes of course" he said with a smile
"Hmph" Sora pouted as she made an upset face.
"What's wrong?" Zack asked her.
"You don't even get it do you, you will be going to the capital to attend Bright Gold Academy and I will be left here alone" she said been upset about it.
"Well don't worry before I leave for Bright Gold academy, I will make we will spend lots of time together and go sightseeing around the city every day, how about that huh?" he said her and her eyes sparkled with interest.
"from the look on your face I guess you are really interested?"
"of course, Yes" Sora replied vibrantly in her tone.
"that's it, you known Sora, those cheeks of yours feel so good pull and my hands are itching to pull them" Zack said with a mischievous glint in his eyes and Sora is taken aback.
"Ah, you bad bully leave my innocent cheeks alone" Sora turned around and ran.
"You can't run away from me" Zack chased after her.
"You bad bully stay away from my cheeks" Sora said out loud as she ran.
"Am coming for those cheeks, you can't run from me" Zack had a grin on his face as he chased after her and little by little their voices faded away.
In one week Zack had spent a considerable amount of time with Sora and his Mum as they spend this remaining last days he had with his family to the fullest as they went together and visited a lot of places and Zack had fun like he had never before as he had almost forgotten what it felt like to spend quality time with one's family.

Monday, 20th May 2564, 9:45am.
Zack is seated as his backpack and baggage was by his side as Sora clung to his arm tightly, afraid she might lose him while their Mum sat in a graceful manner as she seemed busy on her phone. And they seemed to be in airport as the place was full of chattering and noises as the place was brimming with people moving to and fro as they dragged their luggage's behind them.
Zack looked around as they seemed to be in a waiting area which was packed with people including students like him and their families, as they will heading off to their academies of admission and likely their families came to see them off and a distinct Feminine voice announcing the arrivals and departures on a broadcast.
The waiting area had a fountain at the center and artificial plants at every corner giving one an Eco-green feeling.
"Sora why are you still clinging to me?" Zack asked her with a blank expression on his face.
"Am afraid, if I let go of you, I might lose you" she said and Zack shook his head in helplessness.
"if you get to the capital, I wonder if you will ever meet them?" Sora asked
"Well I may or maybe not" Zack gave his answer as he eyes seem to hold an unsettled gaze over Sora's question.
"Are you sure?" She asked him again as she looked at his face.
"I don't know" he replied.
"Well aside from that, make sure when you are coming back home during the holidays, don't forget to bring me some Nice gifts" Sora said to him as she had an adorable look on her face but Zack's attention was else were as his eyes scanned around and a vein popping on his head as he saw the numerous eyes staring at Sora and his mum.
"Tch!" Zack lets out a click and then a guy seated close to him and Sora although a few inches apart immediately adjusted closer to Zack.
"Em…excuse me beautiful can l…." before bro could finish his word
"Yes, I can help you with something" Zack asked as his eyes had a dead look in them and this sacred the guy and he backed away.
"Who was that Zack?" Sora asked as she was puzzled
"It was just a lost dude finding his way" He lied and even did it with a smile
"Okay whatever you say she went along with it.
"This is an announcement to the students at the waiting area, your flights have arrived we urge you all to move towards the departure section on your left turn" a feminine voice announced over the broad cast.
And everyone in the waiting area all got up and grabbed their Baggage's as they began leaving the waiting area and following the instructions given.
"I guess my flight is here" Zack said as he stood up and grabbing his luggage as he followed the rest with Sora still clinging to him and their Mum following behind as per the rules families of the awakened students could see them off at their departure point.
"Alright dear this is where we call it" Zack's Mum said with a smile as she caressed Zack's cheek and Zack felt at peace as he felt his Mother's hand.
"Am going to miss you so much Zack!!!" Sora said as she held him in an embrace as she looked like she could cry any moment
"I guess this is it Mum, but never the less I will make sure to always call" Zack said replying to his Mother.
"Then I will always expect your calls I guess" she said with a smile as she looked at him and Sora still embracing Zack.
"Alright Sora it's high time you let your brother go" She said to Sora but she refused and Zack felt at a loss as he knew the next move his mum was going to execute.
And with knock to the head, Sora was bonged on the head by their Mother which left Sora sulking at the side.
"This sister of yours is something else" Zack's Mother said with a squint in her eyes as she looked at the sulking Sora.
"Yeah I agree with you Mum" Zack said as he nodded his head in agreement.
"Okay I think this goodbye" his Mum said with a lovely smile on her face
"I guess so" Zack said in a low tone and them he immediately hugged her, catching her by surprise and seeing this she embraced him too.
"Mum I promise to get to the top and take back everything that is meant to be ours" said Zack as determination was set in his eyes as he breaks the embrace with his Mother. His Mum was in surprised over his determination and she said to him.
"I believe you" a smile curved on her lips.
The scene around the place was full of emotions as families bid their goodbye and farewell to their sons and daughters who were leaving for their academies outside Spectra city.
Zack grabs his luggage and walks towards the clearance section and waving a goodbye at his Mother and Sister.
After passing through clearance and everything checked they were directed towards were they will board their flights.
After passing what seemed like a huge hallway everyone's eyes was assaulted by the bright sunlight as they stepped outside and expressions of all kinds were seen on the faces of everyone as meters away from them, Aircrafts which resembled spaceships out of a Sci-fi movie were already on ground as it was a sight to truly behold.
After the catastrophe Five hundred years ago the method of travel had already changed drastically, airplanes had been re-designed and their shapes reconstructed to be more aerodynamic and their speed increased to aid faster travel and be stronger.
And are now made with tough materials meant to protect the aircraft against Aerial beast attacks during travels across the air space of the forgotten lands.
Various Personals were already in wait as they represented the academies which sent them as each of them had the badge of their academy and even the insignia of the various academies here were engraved on the body of the aircrafts making them visible even from afar.
Each personal called their academies by saying
"Any Cassel's Academy admitted here, if please form a line over here"
"Any Star Spark Academy admitted here, if please form a line over here"
"Any Flame Spark Academy admitted here, if please form a line over here"
The students who heard the name of the academies which gave them admission moved towards were they were asked to form a line.
Zack watched in amazement as he saw the coordination among everyone as hell no, no one wanted to screw up their future.
"Any Bright Gold Academy admitted here, if please form a line over here" A woman in Uniform said with a straight look.
At the mention of Bright Gold academy many were forced to turn their attention towards the personals as they were dressed in a gold and white uniform as their appearance was outstanding and their composure graceful and, on their uniforms, they had the insignia of Bright Gold academy.
An insignia many recognized because Bright Gold academy was one of the top ten academies in the country and it was located in the capital with other prestigious academies.
Zack followed behind the very few who were admitted into Bright Gold Academy from Spectra city as they formed a line and showing the personals their admission letter as that served as their ticket.
It was Zack turn and he showed them his admission letter, they only took a look at the insignia and nodded their heads.
"You are clear to proceed" one of the personals said.
"Okay, thank you sir" Zack appreciated and the man just nodded.
"Okay Next!!"
And Zack moved forward as he walked towards the aircraft and he was amazed by the grandeur of the aircraft as it stood out among from the other aircrafts of the other academies.
He stood to admire the aircraft as its grandiosity was one to look at, the aircraft's body was silver and gold in color as its golden hue shined under the sunlight with a metallic luster and the front of the aircraft was shaped like the beak of a bird and the wings of the aircraft seem to merge into the body and its body design was sleek and aerodynamic and the aircraft towered like a two story building as its height was one that make anyone raise their heads up to look at its height and the aircraft had the look of a spaceship.
"isn't it a thing of beauty?" a boy suddenly came by Zack's side and said as he too admired the aircraft.
"Yeah it is" Zack answered and turned to looked at the boy. The boy had a short brown hair and his front hair covering his forehead and his eyes were light brown, and his pointed nose complementing his V-shaped face and he wore a grey long sleeve with patterns and a black jean trouser with a pair of polished brown boots and his hairstyle was a low fade cut.
"the name's Alex" the boy introduced himself with a handshake.
"Am Zack" Zack introduced himself too as he shook hands with Alex.
"I guess luck is on our side to be admitted into Bright Gold Academy" Alex said with a light grin as his gaze lingered on the aircraft.
"I guess it does, because I have heard so much about the academy and now just seeing an aircraft of theirs, something tells me we are in for much more" Zack spoke as he stared at the grand aircraft.
"shall we?" Alex said with a hand gesture
"Of course," Zack acknowledged and they both walked together towards the and chatting along as they got to know each other as a friendship had been formed between them as both of them together had taken the path they choose and that was, Bright Gold Academy.
