Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Gangbuk

Minsoo sat comfortably in his chair, dressed neatly, His face was fresh, his hair perfectly styled, and in his hand was a hot cup of coffee, He took a slow sip, enjoying the warmth as he leaned back.

Behind him, Hana walked in, barefoot.

"Good morning, Minsoo." Her voice was light, "Where's Sun-ho?"

Minsoo didn't open his eyes, before answering in his calm way "He's out, Doing something."

Hana looked at him, then at the mug of coffee waiting for her on the small table beside the couch, She let out a quiet laugh and sank into the chair opposite him, She picked up the cup, cupping it in both hands.

"Thanks for the coffee," she said, meeting his eyes when they finally opened.

Minsoo gave the faintest nod, as if he didn't need to say you're welcome.

Hana blew gently on the surface of her drink, then took a small sip,The taste made her eyebrows lift slightly, it was perfect, of course it was, With him, it always was.

She leaned back, eyeing him curiously over the rim of her cup "So, Minsoo…" she began, drawing out his name just enough to test his patience. "You always act like you're some ancient monk who's seen too much, What was your life like before you ended up here?"

Minsoo's eyes flicked to her, and for a moment, Hana felt like he could see straight through the casual smile she wore.

"Nothing special," he said, voice flat, He set his mug down on the armrest with a soft clink "Let's just say I was a… teacher disciplinary teacher."

Hana let out a laugh. "A teacher? You? That explains everything," she said, grinning wide "No wonder you're so damn cold all the time, and glaring at everyone like they owe you homework."

Minsoo's mouth twitched at the corner.

He just watched her, then added, "the world here… it's different. Do you know about Lookism?"

Hana frowned. "What's that?"

Minsoo gave a low hum. "It was just a comic, A boy named Daniel Park, bullied, no future One day he wakes up and finds he has two bodies One ugly, broken, like his old self, One tall, strong, beautiful, While one body sleeps, the other wakes."

Hana's eyes widened. She lowered her cup slowly "Two bodies… like You…"

Minsoo's eyes glinted, a sharp amusement slipping through his mask "Exactly, Two lives,Two faces, The same soul One is the real him, soft, bruised, humiliated The other is everything this world worships, beauty, strength, power And through that new body, he carves a new life for himself."

Hana sat there, staring at him, the pieces slotting into place in her mind like glass shattering and rearranging at the same time.

"Don't tell me." She said and Minsoo nodded.

"For what I know you're from this world Just rebirthed, And The Boy Is–"

"Wait, So There's another guy like you." she said with Shocked.

"Tell me everything you know Minsoo."

On Sun-ho side, Gangbuk

"I seek audience with your leader." Said Sun-ho.

He was wearing a black bomber-style jacket It features an interesting design on the front, possibly embroidered, with dark, somewhat floral, The jacket has a stand-up collar, long sleeves, and buttons running down the front and Underneath the jacket, he's wearing a light-colored white.

His pants are light brown, They appear to be straight-leg.

'After some digging, I can confirm it... there's still about two months before the main story Starts, That gives me time And the reason I came all the way to Gangbuk...' he paused, narrowing his eyes, '...is Johan Seong. And...'

Before he could finish, a God Dogs members blocked his path, A dozen of them, Loud, confident, and already smirking.

The one at the front, a guy with dyed Yellow hair and a pierced eyebrow, looked him up and down.

"Yo, what's this? Pretty boy lost on the way to his K-pop audition?"

"This ain't a tourist spot, brat, Go home before you get hurt," another added with a laugh.

The crew cackled, They didn't take him seriously,Tall, clean-cut, calm... not the type they were used to fighting in these streets.

Sun-ho tilted his head slightly, his expression unreadable.

"Maybe I should've brought Minsoo with me," he muttered. "He'd beat you all senseless without killing you."

He looked at them directly, voice rising just enough.

"Now I'm wondering... if I beat you, will you even survive?"

That line alone made a few of them flinch.

"...What did you say?" one of them growled.

"Yo brat," the front guy cracked his knuckles, stepping up, "You've got a death wish, I'll break your bones so bad your mom won't recognize you."

He launched his fist forward, fast.

Sun-ho didn't flinch, He Copy the punch with calm.

BOOM.

The moment the two fists connected, it was over, A sickening crack echoed through the alley, The God Dogs' member hand exploded on impact, bones Shattered, His body was lifted clean off the ground and sent flying backward, crashing into a trash bin with a metallic clang.

"GAHHH!!"

He screamed in agony, clutching his mangled arm.

The laughter stopped instantly.

All eyes were on Sun-ho, who simply looked down at his own hand, flexing it as if checking his own damage, none.

"That's it?" he asked.

"I expected more, Honestly... I'm disappointed."

Their expressions were pale, Some were shaking The guy who got obliterated was their top street-level fighter.

One of them turned, stumbling backward.

"I-I'm gonna inform the executives!" he yelped and sprinted off toward the old gym-turned-base.

---

Inside the God Dogs Base, 15 Minutes Later

executive members of the God Dogs sat at a long, uneven table, Their presence alone demanded attention.

Sun-ho sat across from them, relaxed Legs crossed, back straight, not a hint of nervousness.

Across from him were:

Mark Sa, tall, heavily built, and clearly the one who did most of the talking.

Dominic Min, leaner, with narrowed eyes full of judgment.

Hope Park and Ivan Park, twins by the look of them, both silent, arms crossed.

Mark was the first to speak, his voice steady but irritated.

"Mind telling us what you're doing here, kid? You beat up one of our boys and think that earns you an audience with the crew head?"

"If you're here to play some dumb game, go home, Don't waste our time."

Dominic clicked his tongue, visibly annoyed.

"So what, you beat some lower-ranked member and now you think you're hot shit? Don't get cocky, We're not the same as them."

Mark added.

"And don't even think about comparing us to that guy you knocked out, You haven't seen real strength yet, Our No. 2 alone could crush you... and the crew head? He's on another level altogether, You wouldn't last five seconds."

Sun-ho gave a faint smile "I know," he said simply. "I know who your number two is I know exactly who each of you are."

He let the words sink in before continuing.

"Especially your leader... Johan Seong."

At the mention of the name, all four executives visibly tensed.

A thin crack spread across the mask they wore as leaders, They exchanged glances subtle, but telling How did this guy know so much?

Dominic leaned forward, eyes narrowing.

"So what? You know his name, That doesn't change anything."

He pointed at the door with his chin.

"If you're smart, you'll leave right now, Before we make you regret walking into this place."

Hope and Ivan said nothing, but their eyes hadn't left him for a second.

Sun-ho simply leaned back in his chair, still relaxed.

he murmured "We'll see about that."
