Seeing the determined expression on Buu's face, Satan began explaining sincerely.
Of course, he wanted to become stronger—strong like Krillin, Piccolo, or even his son-in-law, Gohan. Even stronger, like Goku. After all, Goku was part of his extended family now.
But he couldn't bring himself to accept such a valuable opportunity at Buu's expense.
"You really need these items now, Mr. Buu," Satan said. "If you don't use them to strengthen yourself now, what will you do when you hit a plateau in the future? Maybe… you can give them to me then, if there's no other way."
He smiled warmly and added, "For now, just focus on growing stronger. It'll be much easier for you to grab more rewards and benefits later. So go ahead, let me help you draw the lottery, but make sure you're the one using whatever comes out. Don't waste it on me."
"…Okay, okay," Buu finally relented, seeing how resolute Satan was.
Still, he had some doubts in his heart.
Satan had clearly said before that he wanted to grow stronger. Now, with a chance right in front of him, he was turning it down.
Buu didn't quite understand what was going through his friend's mind.
Even so, he respected Satan's wishes and gave him the chance to draw the lottery on his behalf.
---
Ding! Congratulations to Satan for drawing the lottery! You have received a card that doubles the power of your moves!
---
@Goku: "A power-doubling card? Isn't that the same one Piccolo drew a while back? I don't think it's going to be much use to Satan…"
@Piccolo: "Exactly. Satan doesn't have any powerful techniques. Even if his moves are doubled in strength, it won't make much of a difference."
@Krillin: "@Majin Buu, Buu, this reward isn't a good fit for Satan. You should use it instead."
@Android 18: "If I remember correctly, Satan's strongest move is literally just a punch. Even if it's doubled, it's still… just a punch."
@Krillin: "Wait a minute, Number 18, how do you know what Satan's strongest move is?"
@Android 18: "Back during the last World Martial Arts Tournament, you all left early because of Majin Buu. I stayed and ended up in the final. Satan hit me with his 'strongest move.' It was a basic punch. Nothing special."
@Krillin: "Makes sense. Satan doesn't know how to control ki, so his only attacks are basic physical strikes."
@Vegeta: "See? I told you—giving that kind of reward to him is a waste."
@Beerus: "In that case, @Majin Buu, go ahead and use the Power Doubler yourself."
---
@Goku: "Now that Buu's task is done, can we finally get back to Frieza?"
@Goku: "Lord Beerus, lend me your energy. Let me take on Frieza!"
@Vegeta: "Hold on! Kakarot, why should you be the one to fight him first? Where does that leave me?!"
@Goku: "I asked first, Vegeta. That means I get to fight him first."
@Goku: "How about this—I fight him first, then you get a turn afterward?"
@Vegeta: "Hmph! Don't think I don't know you. Once you start fighting, there won't be anything left for me! No way—I go first!"
---
@Champa: "@Beerus, who exactly is this Frieza? Why are Goku and Vegeta so eager to fight him?"
@Beerus: "Someone they both have deep grudges against."
@Beerus: "@Goku, @Vegeta—enough. I'm withdrawing my energy. You two can fight over who gets to face Frieza on your own time, not in this chat group."
---
After posting that in the group chat, Beerus looked over at Frieza and casually hooked a finger.
The divine energy surrounding Frieza dissipated instantly as it was pulled back to Beerus.
Frieza turned toward him, eyes narrowing.
"Frieza," Beerus said coolly, "Our business is done. Now it's time to deal with you."
He then turned toward Goku and Vegeta. "You two, figure out who's fighting him. Quickly. Once this is settled, I'm going to eat."
Without waiting for a reply, Lord Beerus vanished from the battlefield, leaving it to the Saiyans to handle the situation.
---
"Vegeta," Goku said with a grin, "since Lord Beerus told us to settle it quickly… let's use the old method."
"Tch… We don't have a choice," Vegeta grumbled. "Let's do it."
They both knew what "the old method" meant.
Rock-paper-scissors.
Yes. The fate of the battle—of Frieza—would be decided by a game of rock-paper-scissors.
Under Frieza's furious gaze, the two legendary Saiyans began their match.
To many, it might seem ridiculous.
To Frieza, it was insulting.
Here he was, the once-feared emperor of the universe, reduced to being the prize in a silly guessing game.
They were deciding who got to fight him—him!—based on a game.
It was humiliating beyond words.
True, Frieza knew deep down that he might not be able to defeat either of them.
But to be treated like this—completely looked down upon—was another matter entirely.
His face flushed with anger.
He couldn't do anything but tremble in rage.
After several tense rounds of rock-paper-scissors, the winner was finally decided.
Goku emerged victorious.
"Yes! I won!"
Goku beamed, pumping his fist into the air.
Vegeta let out a long sigh, clearly annoyed.
But he didn't argue.
Vegeta was a man of pride, yes—but also a man who kept his word.
If he lost the game, he had to accept the outcome.
"You better not drag this out, Kakarot," Vegeta warned. "If you waste time, don't blame me if I jump in and end it myself!"
He retreated to where Krillin and the others were standing, folding his arms and watching silently.
---
"Frieza," Goku called out, stepping forward, "Let's fight!"
As he shouted, Goku powered up, instantly transforming into Super Saiyan Blue.
He wasn't going to hold back.
Frieza, now in his Golden Form, glared back with venomous intensity.
Goku knew that in the past, his Super Saiyan God form wouldn't have been enough.
But this wasn't the past.
This was a new Goku—stronger, faster, better trained.
Still, even with all that growth, Goku knew one thing:
Golden Frieza wasn't to be taken lightly.
---
The wind howled across the battlefield as energy crackled in the air.
Everyone stepped back instinctively.
Even the ever-bold Caulifla took a cautious step away.
The tension between Goku and Frieza was real.
Years of animosity.
Betrayals, deaths, resurrections.
This wasn't just a battle.
It was a reckoning.
And finally, after so long…
Frieza's turn had come.
