Chapter 96 - Chapter 96: The Four Beasts Die, Let All Mankind Taste Them!

"Mr. Sun Wukong is about the same height as us, maybe even a little shorter. He's not as muscular either," Alu said with amazement in his voice as he watched Sun Wukong effortlessly toss the Four Beasts around. "But his power... it's so much greater than ours. Truly incredible!"

He understood that strength doesn't always match appearance, but seeing someone smaller wield such overwhelming force still left him in awe.

"I really want to fight him!" said Zebra, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"Forget it, Zebra," Sani rolled his eyes. "He knocked the Four Beasts away with a single punch and even left them with irreversible injuries. I'm afraid you wouldn't last even one hit."

"Still... it's strange. Mr. Sun Wukong was also exposed to the green rain, yet he doesn't seem affected at all," Coco observed.

"Maybe he's just that strong," Alu said. "But unless we defeat the Four Beasts, this green rain won't stop. We can't endure much longer. If Komatsu doesn't finish the antidote in time, we might not survive even if Mr. Sun Wukong defeats them."

"We should trust Komatsu. He will complete the antidote. I believe in him," Sani said with determination.

Meanwhile, in the thug group chat:

Krillin: "@Sun Wukong, Goku! Please read this! Defeat the Four Beasts quickly. Otherwise, your employer might die from the poison rain!"

Vegeta: "Hmph. If Kakarot's employer dies and the mission fails, he'll bear full responsibility! Eating during a mission... disgraceful!"

Beerus: "If he causes this mission to fail and shames our group, I won't forgive him!"

Sun Wukong: "@Beerus Don't worry, Lord Beerus! I won't bring shame to the thugs."

Beerus: "Then why are you still playing around? What's more important—improving the flavor of the meat or completing the mission?"

Sun Wukong: "I understand, Lord Beerus."

Even without their warnings, Sun Wukong had sensed that his employers' life force was rapidly weakening. He immediately changed tactics. No longer tossing the beasts around, he now approached them directly and delivered punch after devastating punch.

The Four Beasts, still attempting to redirect the force of his attacks, struggled under the sheer power of each blow. The harder they tried, the more effort they had to exert, which ironically increased the secretion of the amino acids that made them taste better.

But even their powerful redirection abilities couldn't keep up. The damage built up fast. Soon, their energy waned.

With a final mighty punch, all four beasts collapsed. Their life force disappeared completely.

At that moment, the dark clouds parted. The poisonous green rain stopped falling. Sunlight, gone since the arrival of the beasts, returned to the sky.

Though the land lay in ruins, the reappearance of the sun symbolized hope. With the calamity over, humanity could begin to rebuild.

Alu and the others rushed to Sun Wukong.

"Mr. Sun Wukong, thank you! Thank you for saving us and defeating the Four Beasts!"

"Don't thank me," Goku grinned. "This was my mission. Just give me a five-star review."

He then looked at the fallen beasts.

"Uh... would it be okay if I tasted them?" he asked awkwardly.

"Of course!" Alu laughed. "You defeated them—you deserve the first bite."

Just then, the ground rumbled. A massive horse, towering over even the Four Beasts, thundered toward them. On its back were Komatsu and Ling.

"Mr. Alu! Mr. Coco! Mr. Sani! Mr. Zebra! I'm so glad you're all okay!" Komatsu nearly cried as he leaped down.

He and Ling walked up to Sun Wukong.

"Thank you for saving everyone," Komatsu said, bowing deeply. "Here, take these."

He handed over a handful of purple rice cake-like balls.

"These are detoxification rice cakes—they counteract the poison rain."

Though Goku didn't feel poisoned and had Senzu Beans anyway, the rice cakes intrigued him.

He popped one into his mouth—and his eyes lit up.

"Delicious! Absolutely delicious!" he exclaimed.

He devoured the rest eagerly.

Komatsu beamed. As a chef, there was no greater joy than seeing someone enjoy your food.

In the chat:

Krillin: "That detoxification rice cake must be something special. Goku's never reacted like that before."

Vegeta: "Hmph. It's just a rice cake. How good could it be?"

Piccolo: "Then why are you drooling, Vegeta?"

Beerus: "Rice cake? I don't remember having those at Bulma's party."

Tien: "That's because they aren't high-end. You wouldn't have noticed."

Beerus: "If Goku enjoys it that much, maybe their rice cakes are different from ours."

Champa: "Hey Beerus, now that Goku's done, hurry and have him bring back some food!"

Beerus: "Even if he did, you're not getting any."

Champa: "Don't be stingy!"

Jack: "If Goku brings food, we could use it for our next group gathering."

Beerus: "Great idea, Mr. Jack!"

Champa: "Yes! Long live Mr. Jack!"

Beerus: "@Champa, are you cursing Jack? Watch your words."

Champa: "No, no! I didn't mean it that way!"

Jack: "It's fine, just be more careful with your phrasing."

Jack: "@Sun Wukong, if possible, please bring back some delicacies from that world for the gathering."

Sun Wukong: "Okay, Mr. Jack, I'll do it!"

Turning to Alu:

"Can I bring back some food from here?"

"Of course! Take as much as you want!"

Then Alu added:

"Now that the Four Beasts are dead, come taste them with us! Or take some of the meat back with you."

Sun Wukong nodded.

"Funny thing," he said. "When I defeated the Four Beasts, I sensed a lot of weak energy inside them. Not sure what it was."

"Weak energy?" Alu asked, confused.

This world had no concept of 'ki,' but soon they understood.

Suddenly, the bodies of the Four Beasts rose and glowed brightly. Then they vanished, replaced by an enormous mountain of meat. Next to it floated a glowing sphere.

"That orb... I'm picking up electromagnetic waves from it!" Coco said, wide-eyed.

"I hear something too," Zebra added.

Then the orb burst, releasing countless black dots into the air. Looking closely, they were human beings—people previously eaten by the Four Beasts.

The Beasts had planned to digest them later, so their victims had been stored, not killed.

"I'm going to save them!" Goku said, stepping forward.

"No need, Mr. Sun Wukong!" Alu stopped him. "Sani!"

"Got it!"

Sani's hair stretched and wove into a massive net, catching the falling humans gently.

"You can do that? That's impressive!" Goku said, genuinely surprised.

He had never seen their abilities in detail before. This move was clever and effective—something even he would've had trouble managing alone.

"You're too kind," Sani said, a little embarrassed. "Compared to you, it's nothing."

"No, no, your ability is really cool!"

Sani smiled proudly.

The mountain of meat fell to the ground, bouncing like jelly.

"The Four Beasts are gone. Let the whole world taste them!" Alu declared.

Everyone cheered.

Chefs rushed to prepare meals, and transport teams hauled the meat to kitchens. It was the first grand feast since the crisis ended.

Excitement buzzed across the human world.

Chefs used all their skills, bringing out secret recipes and unique techniques.

The world was in celebration.

"Hey, Zebra! Stop snacking and help us move the meat!" Sani yelled, spotting Zebra munching near the edge of the feast.
