Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Krillin Enters the World of Pirates!

"Wait… Did I really grab the mission?!"

Krillin's eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the notification flashing in front of him.

He had actually succeeded in snatching the mission!

Even though Jack had already explained that grabbing missions didn't rely on strength but rather on luck and focus, Krillin had never truly believed he'd stand a chance—especially against powerhouses like Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus.

And yet, here he was.

---

Goku: "@Krillin, wow! You're really lucky! You grabbed the first mission!"

Piccolo: "I noticed something while trying to grab the mission. My strength didn't seem to help at all."

Goku: "Same here."

Vegeta: "Hmph. I felt it too."

Beerus: "So it wasn't just me. Even with my divine power, I couldn't affect the outcome."

King Quan: "I didn't manage to grab it either. Seems like I wasn't fast enough."

Whis: "Just as Mr. Jack said… The mission system doesn't rely on strength."

---

Jack, the group leader, finally chimed in.

Jack: "Exactly. I mentioned this before—if strength determined who got the mission, weaker members would never get a chance. That would be completely unfair."

As the leader of the Cosmic Thugs Group, Jack had already been briefed on the mission system mechanics. To keep things balanced, all participants—regardless of their power level—were placed on equal footing when competing for a mission.

It wasn't about muscle or ki; it was about timing and intent.

Focus and luck—those were the only deciding factors.

Krillin, arguably the weakest among the members, had secured the mission purely by chance. But in a way, that was exactly what made the system so fair.

---

"Rescue Ace, huh?" Krillin mumbled, reading the mission objective.

He understood what needed to be done—save Ace, who was on the brink of death.

But in order to do that… he needed something special.

Krillin quickly messaged Goku.

Krillin: "@Goku, I need a favor. Can you go to Korin's Tower and bring me some Senzu Beans?"

He didn't even hesitate. The moment he understood the task, Krillin thought of the one miraculous item that could save lives time and again—Senzu Beans.

He had seen them revive Goku, Vegeta, and even himself from near-death on countless occasions. If Ace wasn't dead yet, a Senzu Bean could definitely bring him back from the edge.

Technically, the group mall did offer Senzu Beans for purchase. But since no one had accumulated any points yet, even the cheapest item was currently out of reach.

---

Goku: "Leave it to me, Krillin! Just hold on."

No matter who had gotten the mission, Goku wasn't the kind of person to let his friends struggle alone. In the blink of an eye, he used Instant Transmission and vanished.

Moments later, he returned with a small cloth bag.

"Here you go," Goku said, handing it over. "There aren't many, but use them wisely."

Krillin nodded, clutching the bag. He didn't take just one—he brought the whole pouch. After all, you never know what might happen in a battlefield like Marineford.

---

Then came the big moment.

Krillin opened the mission portal.

It looked like a swirling black vortex—an otherworldly tunnel leading directly to the target universe.

Everyone nearby stared in awe.

Under the gazes of gods, warriors, and mortals alike, Krillin stepped forward and entered the vortex, his body slowly disappearing into the dark swirl.

And then—he was gone.

---

"Whoa! So that's how you travel to another world?" Goku exclaimed.

Even Beerus, the God of Destruction, was impressed. "Hmph. Not bad. A portal that bridges dimensions... Quite the miracle."

Nearby, Gohan stood speechless. "Uncle Krillin just… vanished. What was that black vortex?"

He hadn't joined the Cosmic Thugs Group yet, so he had no idea what was going on.

Goku turned to him and smiled. "Krillin went to another world on a mission."

Gohan blinked. "Another world?"

Goku added casually, "By the way, Gohan, I'm surprised Lord Jack didn't invite you to the group."

Gohan tilted his head. "Jack? What group are you talking about?"

---

Seeing the exchange, Beerus quickly cut in with a glare.

Beerus: "@Goku, you idiot! Do you think it's your place to question Lord Jack's choices?!"

He was clearly startled by Goku's nonchalant tone. This was Jack they were talking about—someone who even the Grand Priest and King Quan treated with utmost respect.

A single careless word could offend a being beyond imagination!

But Jack simply replied with his usual calm tone.

Jack: "Your son, Gohan, has a family now, doesn't he? Are you sure he can commit to missions like you?"

Goku scratched his head. "Hmm… You've got a point."

He knew his son well. Gohan wasn't fond of fighting. Now that he had become a scholar and settled into family life, he rarely trained. He had long since chosen a peaceful path.

Even if invited, Gohan probably wouldn't accept.

Jack had made his decision with good reason.

After all, even warriors like Tien, Master Roshi, and others had been added to the group. It wasn't about raw strength—it was about whether the person had the heart and time to contribute.

As for Yamcha, well… considering how Goku and the others didn't even bring him to the Tournament of Power, it was easy to see why he wasn't in the group either.

---

Meanwhile, in the One Piece world...

Amidst the chaos of Marineford, Luffy knelt on the bloodstained ground, holding his brother Ace, whose life was rapidly slipping away.

He trembled. He didn't know what to do.

His mind was blank, filled with fear and helplessness.

Ace's body was burning up one moment and going cold the next. His breathing was shallow. The world around them blurred as emotions took over.

Even the nearby Marines couldn't help but glance over, their expressions tinged with seriousness.

No one—not even the enemies—could ignore the tragic sight.

---

Suddenly, a black vortex appeared beside Luffy.

Everyone froze.

From within the swirling mass of energy, a figure stepped out—short, bald, and dressed in an orange martial arts uniform.

Krillin had arrived.
