[Ding!]
[You Have Jogged 5 km]
[Jog] 5/20 km
After jogging five kilometers, Rain's body had become as heavy as lead, he grimaced as he trudged towards the apartment building.
"This body is surprisingly weak, How am I supposed to repeat this quest five times a day?"
Rain spat out a groan, the idea of earning more XP and leveling up singing in his head, but this body made it seem too hard to pull off.
As he stepped into the entrance of his room, Rain suddenly remembered something important.
There was something he was supposed to do before starting this exercise.
And it was because he was carried away in the moment, he forgot something important that would aid him.
"The bonus stats"
Amidst his heavy breathing, a thin smile slowly curled up his lips.
Rain opened the door of the one-room apartment, the familiar fragrance drifting into his nose.
Aside from the original body's weak physique, he was such a broke ass that he only had measly amount of money in his bank account.
If it hadn't been for this system's power, Rain would have counted this transmigration as unfortunate.
Although he was an office worker with not much to boast of, however, the status of this body was still much worse than his.
Rain sat down on the bed and thought back to his status.
[Race] Human
[HP] 100
[MP] 20
[Lv.] 1
[XP] 0/100
[Strength] 2
[Agility] 2
[Intelligence] 2
[Constitution] 2
[Perception] 2
[Bonus Stat Points] 10
The stat bonus he received, he should make better use of it, it was now that he needed it, after all, he was about to do some physical activities.
Rain went to the fridge at the corner of the room to get a cold drink.
Aside from the few bottles of canned beer and soft drinks, there was no food.
He opened the soft drink and gulped down some before turning to the status window.
Since Rain wasn't a gamer, there were some things that left him clueless, but from the body's memories, he could somehow get what they were about.
From the body's memories of playing Virtual Reality Role Playing Games, he got the hints of what the stats all meant.
The main problem here was that, even if he allocated the stat points to the best of his capability, he didn't know if it would be advantageous or disadvantageous in his next battle.
Since he lacked class-specific skills, Rain opted for the plan he thought would be the best after some time of deep thinking.
He turned to the Demon Razor in his hand.
It was a Knife-type magic item but the blade was made of silvery alloy, with the wooden handle having some golden trims, it looked almost ornamental.
[Item] Demon Razor (Unequipped)
[Rank] Uncommon
[Description]
A Knife for slicing through monster flesh. Can be stored in the inventory.
[Attack Power] +12
[Health] -5
Tsk, Rain clicked his tongue in disappointment, the only magical item the original body had would even steal out of his health.
The effect was boldly written in red as if to highlight its negativeness.
He didn't let that bother him though.
So I have an inventory, like a storage space?
After reading the information did he realized the existence of inventory.
This would serve him well when he needed to store items and stuff, at the very least, he wouldn't need to hold on to every weapon he took to a raid.
"Since it said I can store it, I think the word Store should be the command"
Just as the word left his mouth, the knife was nowhere to be found, it had vanished from his hand.
"Equip!"
The weapon appeared in his hands once again.
This was a test to see how convenient this system was.
"Inventory!"
As soon as he said this, a graphical representation of his inventory immediately appeared, showing different categories of storage slots.
Rain made a rueful expression, there was not a single item he could boast of in the slots, every one of them was empty.
As he [unequipped] the Knife, its image appeared in the slot of weapon category slot.
Another thing he realized was that he would need to have in mind the type of weapon he wanted to equip, not just the thought [equip].
The reason it probably worked without him mentioning the knife was because it was the only weapon in the slots.
Since it was a melee weapon, he thought he should prioritize the strength stat for stuff like high damage, then agility for attack speed, and reaction speed.
And then what about the other stats?
Rain thought about the memories the body had about dungeon, In five days, he would be teleported into this dangerous dimension, Wouldn't it be more efficient if he were realistic?
If he had an attacking spell, he might have considered the intelligence stat.
But, for now, since he was using the Demon Razor, a melee weapon, his prioritized stats would be strength and agility.
"It is decided!"
For a while, Rain stared at the floating status window in front of him.
[Strength] 2
[Agility] 2
[Intelligence] 2
[Constitution] 2
[Perception] 2
[Bonus Stat Points] 10
I will put five points in the Strength Stat, two points in the Constitution Stat, and three points in the Agility Stat.
[Ding!]
[+5 Strength]
[+2 Constitution]
[+3 Agility]
And at the column of the bonus stat points, everything disappeared before him while the agility, constitution, and perception stat increased by the allocated amount.
The reason he had considered the Constitution Stat was because he felt being agile would also require stamina, those two would probably work well together.
And considering the fact that he wanted to do some exercise, he would need stamina the most to pull it off, considering this frail body he had inherited.
"Ahhh... I have done it, well, I should hope for the best"
"So does that mean I have become five times stronger than a normal human or what? I really need to test this out."
Adrenaline coursed through Rain's body and his eyes lit with the flame of anticipation.
