Morningstar then introduced the several commissions she had brought. After hearing them, Wise chose the one with the highest fee without hesitation. The reason was simple: they were all too easy, so he just picked the one that paid the most.
Morningstar was obviously unaware of this. She looked surprised after he made his choice. "Oh, Wise, you shouldn't just look at the commission fee. This one is quite difficult. Several other new Proxies like you have tried it before and failed."
Morningstar offered a well-intentioned reminder. She knew that young new recruits like Wise often liked to challenge difficult tasks and usually had to fail once or twice before they learned their lesson.

After leaving, Wise looked at the commission in his hand. It had been a long time since he had taken on such a simple task. After all, even when he had started with a new account before, the commissions had been referred by Shepherd.

"Miss Miyabi? Why are you here?"
Hearing Wise's voice, the pair of inadvertently exposed ears trembled noticeably, but there was no response.
Wise found this amusing and then said deliberately, "Oh, did I see wrong? Alright, I'll just head home then."
Although he said this, Wise began to walk towards the alley where Hoshimi Miyabi was hiding, his footsteps going from heavy to light. And sure enough, Hoshimi Miyabi, hearing Wise say this, immediately peeked her head out, only to find that Wise was no longer on the street.

Wise thought to himself. Hoshimi Miyabi didn't answer right away. Instead, her eyes were fixed on the two melons he was carrying.
"Uh, are you looking at these, Miss Miyabi?"
"No..." Hoshimi Miyabi denied it.
Wise tentatively lifted the melons in his hand, and her gaze followed the movement of his hand up and down. It's definitely the melons.
Seeming to realize her actions were too obvious, Hoshimi Miyabi's face turned slightly red, and she decided to drop the act. "Mhm. Because I heard that the general store here had a new type of melon. I rushed over as soon as I heard the news, but by the time I got there, the last two had just been bought by someone, right in front of my eyes."
