Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 {Zerty TV}

Leticia followed Fifth Young Master, her eyes wide with curiosity as she took in the grandeur of the mansion. She stumbled slightly, her long silver hair catching on a ornate vase.

"Oops!" she exclaimed, reaching out to steady herself.

Fifth Young Master caught her arm, his grip firm but gentle. He looked down at her, his piercing gaze softening slightly.

"Careful," he murmured.

"You don't want to break anything else."

Leticia giggled, unconcerned by his warning. She leaned into him, her head resting against his chest.

"You're so warm," she whispered, her breath tickling his skin.

Fifth Young Master sighed as he threw a remote at Leticia who looked at it confused a holographic screen popped out this was a Zerty tv.

"Uncle Jenkins," Fifth Young Master said Butler Jenkins was the head butler also the man who Fifth Young Master trust the most.

"Teach her how to use the Zerty TV," Fifth Young Master said indifferently.

Butler Jenkins appeared on the holographic screen, his stern face filling the display. He looked down at Leticia with a mixture of curiosity and concern.

"Yes, Master Rohan," he said, his voice crisp and professional.

"Miss Leticia, I'll be teaching you how to operate the Zerty TV. It's a stateoftheart entertainment system that allows you to access a wide range of content."

Leticia's eyes widened with excitement as she listened to Butler Jenkins' explanation. She reached out to touch the holographic screen, her fingers brushing against the shimmering display.

"It's so pretty!" she exclaimed, marveling at the technology.

Fifth Young Master watched their interaction from the doorway, his expression unreadable.

Butler Jenkins smiled patiently at Leticia's enthusiasm. He began explaining the various features of the Zerty TV, pointing out the different buttons and menus.

"There are thousands of movies, TV shows, and music albums you can choose from," he said.

"You can also access the internet, play games, and even make video calls."

Leticia listened intently, her crimson eyes sparkling with curiosity. She reached out to press a button on the remote, causing a menu to appear on the screen.

"Wow!" she breathed, fascinated by the array of options.

Suddenly, she spotted a category labeled "Fairy Tales" and clicked on it eagerly. A list of classic stories appeared, and Leticia's face lit up with joy.

Leticia found that her favorite thing was watching cartoons. She loved Garfield the chubby cat she wanted a cat like that! She didn't even know when or how but she put her hands together and imaged a cat just like Garfield. No one else was in the room so there was no worry.

As Leticia watched her favorite cartoon, she suddenly felt a strange tingling sensation in her hands. She looked down, startled to see a faint glow emanating from her palms. The glow intensified, and before her eyes, a small, chubby orange cat materialized on the floor.

"Garfield!" Leticia exclaimed happily, scooping the cat up into her arms.

The cat meowed contentedly, nuzzling into Leticia's embrace. It was an exact replica of the cartoon character, complete with its distinctive markings and lazy demeanor.

Leticia giggled with delight, hugging the cat tightly.

The cat talked.

"Do you like lasagna?" Garfield asked in his signature grumpy voice.

Leticia blinked, stunned by the cat's sudden speech. She looked around the room, wondering if anyone else had heard it, but she was still alone.

"Yes!" she exclaimed, turning her attention back to Garfield.

"I love lasagna!"

Garfield purred happily, settling into Leticia's lap. The two of them sat there for hours, watching cartoons and chatting like old friends. Leticia didn't question how a cartoon character had come to life; she was simply happy to have a companion.

As the day wore on, Fifth Young Master returned to check on Leticia. He paused in the doorway, surprised to see her sitting on the floor with a large orange cat curled up beside her.

"What is that?" he asked gruffly.

Leticia looked up at him and smiled brightly.

"This is Garfield!" she announced proudly.

"He's my new friend."

Fifth Young Master's eyebrow arched skeptical he didn't say anything just left and went to call Victor.

"Beautiful one! Can I keep it!? Can I keep it!?" Leticia asked innocently?

Fifth Young Master sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose. He looked at Leticia's pleading expression and the cat's lazy grin, and knew he was outnumbered.

"I suppose," he said reluctantly.

"But it stays in your room. And don't expect me to feed it or clean up after it."

Leticia squealed with joy, hugging Garfield tightly. The cat purred loudly, clearly pleased with its new home.

"Thank you, thank you!" Leticia exclaimed, jumping to her feet.

"You're the best!"

She threw her arms around Fifth Young Master in a tight hug, catching him off guard. He stiffened momentarily before reluctantly patting her back.

"Yeah, yeah," he muttered gruffly.

"Just don't get too attached."

When Fifth Young Master was gone Leticia grabbed Garfield.

"Garfield you can't talk around them!"

"Why not?" Garfield asked, his eyes widening with curiosity.

"They might think you're weird," Leticia explained, biting her lip nervously.

"They might try to take you away from me."

Garfield nuzzled into her hand, his purrs vibrating softly. He seemed to understand her concern.

"I see," he said quietly.

"I won't talk around them. I promise."

Leticia smiled, relieved. She hugged Garfield tightly, grateful for his understanding and companionship.

"Thank you," she whispered.

"You're my best friend."

Just then, a maid entered the room, carrying a tray of food. She paused when she saw Leticia sitting on the floor with the cat.

"Do you need anything else, miss?" she asked politely.

Leticia looked up at her and smiled brightly.

"No, thank you," she replied sweetly.

"Garfield and I are just fine."

Leticia laid on her stomach as she put on a movie and Garfield yawned.

"Mistress I recall something I am fire dragon."

"Really..!? Turn into a small dragon then!" Leticia whispered.

Garfield's eyes narrowed, a mischievous glint appearing in them. He stretched lazily, his body beginning to glow with an orange light.

Leticia watched in awe as Garfield's form shimmered and shifted. His body elongated, wings sprouting from his back, and horns curling from his head. Within moments, a small, fiery dragon sat before her, its scales shimmering like molten gold.

"Wow!" Leticia breathed, her eyes wide with wonder.

"You're beautiful!"

The dragon snorted, sending a puff of smoke into the air. It tilted its head, studying Leticia with intelligent eyes.

"I'm glad you like it," it said, its voice deeper and more resonant than before.

"It's been a while since I've been able to shift."

Leticia reached out hesitantly, her fingers brushing against the dragon's snout. The scales were warm and smooth beneath her touch.

"Do you have any other secrets?" she asked curiously.

The dragon chuckled, a deep rumbling sound that vibrated through its chest.

"A few, but not now."

"Change back! I like chubby Garfield! Remember we are friends!" Leticia said as she grinned happily and put on a different cartoon.

Garfield's form shifted once more, the dragon melting away until the chubby orange cat sat before Leticia again. He yawned, stretching his paws out lazily.

"You're right," he said, settling back into Leticia's lap.

"I much prefer being a cat. It's so much more relaxing."

Leticia giggled, scratching behind Garfield's ears. The cat purred contentedly, his eyes slipping closed.

"Good choice," she murmured.

"I love cuddling with you."

As they watched the cartoon together, Leticia couldn't help but marvel at the strangeness of her situation.

Garfield found that humans were so strange but he also found himself liking watching cartoons. Garfield was only able to awaken because the young miss summon him other then that beside recalling he is a fire dragon he doesn't recall anything else.
