A day and a night passed. The sun dipped below the horizon and rose again.
Only then did Ryosuke finally pull himself away from Samui, utterly satisfied. She was tougher than he'd expected—her body, her spirit, everything about her was resilient.
He leaned in close, his voice low and mocking. "You're impressive."
Samui's face twisted in disgust. Even now, he was humiliating her. What a sick bastard.
He'd even released the genjutsu, claiming this kind of thing was meant to be "shared" between them. But he'd blindfolded her with a cloth, ensuring she couldn't see his face. Though she could move again, her vital points were still under his control, and his sheer strength overwhelmed her. Resistance was futile—she'd been left at his mercy.
Ryosuke, seeing his business was done, leaned closer. "You were incredible. I'm looking forward to next time—I hope you'll have a few Uchiha-blooded kids by then. It's what your Cloud Village wants, right? No need to thank me."
Samui's blood boiled. Thank him? That filthy son of a bitch. This might be the Cloud Village's plan, but she'd never wanted to bear this creep's children, Uchiha blood or not.
Her voice weak from exhaustion, she demanded, "Who the hell are you?"
If she could just learn his identity, she'd have a chance to hunt him down. Only his death could wash away the torment she'd endured.
Ryosuke's tone was calm, almost amused. "So eager to know who I am? You'll find out the next time I pay you a visit. Catch you later."
With that, he headed toward Rain Village, deliberately avoiding a direct return to the Leaf. He'd take the long way back—better to be cautious.
Left alone, Samui rested for a while, her strength slowly returning. The oppressive silence confirmed the monster was gone. Her body ached, drained from the ordeal. What a twisted freak.
Her hand instinctively drifted to her stomach. Could she really be pregnant? The thought sent a wave of dread through her. What would she do if it was true? Grief overwhelmed her—she'd never imagined something like this could happen.
And he hadn't even revealed who he was.
But even if he had, what could she do? His strength was monstrous. She stood no chance of taking him down alone.
She decided not to report this to the Fourth Raikage. The shame was unbearable. If the village found out, she'd be humiliated for life, unable to face anyone again. With a heavy sigh, she pushed the thought aside.
This mission to the border had turned into a nightmare. Her entire team was slaughtered, and she'd been violated for a day and a night. How could she explain this back in the village? She'd have to figure it out as she went.
Gathering her scattered clothes, she dressed carefully, smoothing every crease to hide any trace of what had happened. After a deep breath, she steeled herself and headed toward the border.
Soon, she met the Cloud Village ninjas sent to rendezvous with her team. When she recounted the attack—leaving out her personal ordeal—they were furious. They immediately proposed reporting it to the Fourth Raikage, demanding a full investigation to determine whether the Leaf Village, rogue ninjas, bandits, or another faction was responsible.
Before leaving, they recovered the bodies of their fallen comrades and brought them back to the Cloud Village.
A day later, in the Cloud Village's council hall, the Fourth Raikage sat at the head of the room, listening to Samui's report. His face grew darker with every word, a terrifying aura radiating from him, pressing down on everyone present.
His gaze locked onto Samui, his anger barely contained—not at her, but at the one who'd dared attack his ninjas. "Did you see who did it? Was it someone from the Uchiha clan?"
Samui had mentioned the attacker had three-tomoe Sharingan.
She shook her head. "I don't know. They wore a hooded black cloak and a mask. I could only see the Sharingan through the mask. I managed to escape when they weren't paying attention."
She couldn't admit she'd been captured and humiliated for a day and a night.
The Raikage fell into deep thought. Could the Uchiha be sabotaging peace talks, trying to spark a war between the Leaf and Cloud Villages to profit from the chaos? But that didn't add up. Samui had also reported that during their time in the Leaf Village, the Uchiha had openly provoked her team, even boasting about joining forces with the Hyuga to face them. That suggested the Uchiha were ready for war, not scheming in the shadows.
And a war wouldn't benefit the Uchiha, given their strained relationship with the Leaf Village. A full-scale conflict with the Cloud would only weaken them further.
If it wasn't the Uchiha, then who? Based on what he knew, it had to be someone with a Sharingan, immense skill, and enough power to force Samui to flee. Not just anyone could pull that off.
Suddenly, a chilling thought struck him. Years ago, during the Nine-Tails attack on the Leaf, there'd been a masked figure with a Sharingan. A black-clad ninja, just like this one.
It felt like he was on the verge of uncovering a dark truth.
