Chapter 2 - The Entity

"Did you bring him?" asked the high priest. "What's happening?" they whispered, trembling with fear, unable to make a single movement

There was a killer pressure in the air, and the shaman, already on the ground, pointed directly at Jean whose body was already floating in the air, laughing and coughing while choking herself. From her forehead glowed a mark, the same mark that was on Ashura's heart. This time, something was sinister; it was no longer the gracious aura that comes with the mark but something deadly. The shaman let out a screech after seeing Ashura's lifeless head beneath the altar.

Bewildered, he said "What have you people done? You killed the dark one! Who did this treacherous thing? He only came to assess humanity's worthiness in the eyes of the creator, and you all let him down.

We are all going to perish

"Ahh, the king is dead! Hell will let loose its prisoners!"

The High Priest was confused. "You mean that human being?" he chuckled humorously. "Dark one? He is a deity?" Ouch!: We understand that those who receive blessings from the gods will eventually attain godlike status and power. We reject, we will not tolerate this country being under his control, we rule this country… this town, everything belongs to us.... Ahhh, yes!" exclaimed the high priest.

Everywhere began to vibrate and the earth shook. The next impossible thing happened before their eyes: vipers began to spill out of Ashura's body. They went after all of them, biting and spitting acid at whoever they laid their evil eyes on. It felt as if someone had opened Pandora's box.

There was Jean, still in the air, shouting and screaming, "Help me! Help me! Let me live! Let me live! I'll do anything!" She was speaking to an unseen entity that only she could see.

Something was staring deep into her soul; it looked like her man but was more sinister and monstrous. Its very eyes felt like the abyss was looking into her soul.

"Let me go, and I'll do anything!" she screamed in desperation, her voice cracking with raw emotion as she felt the entity wrench the child from her very womb. It was a horrific scene that only she could perceive, a true nightmare that stretched beyond the bounds of reality. As the gruesome act unfolded, she felt the warm trickle of blood begin to stream down her thighs, an evidence of the violation taking place. In that moment, a question gnawed at her mind: would she cry out in agony, letting the world around her hear her torment? Or would she remain silent, caught in a haze of dread and uncertainty?

But before she could fully grasp the gravity of her situation, the entity began to whisper in a voice that echoed with authority and malice, "I have now taken your womb. This child I become. In thirteen years, I will emerge as my true self. You must not allow anything to happen to this child, or the suffering you will face in hell will far exceed the anguish you are currently enduring."

A sudden, horrifying vision gripped her; in a flash, scenes from the depths of hell played out vividly in her mind. She saw grotesque demons, their forms twisted and horrific, cutting into her stomach with cruel precision, tearing her open to unleash a torrent of unimaginable suffering. Another demon was pouring burning hot stones into her stomach, each one sizzling against her flesh, while yet another malevolent creature carrying a searing hot rod, moving plunged it into her eyes with a predatory glee. Meanwhile, the air was thick with despair as she witnessed another demon violating her sexually, the vision sent waves of horror coursing through her very being.

Caught in the stomach of extreme terror, these visions wrapped around her mind like a web, constricting her thoughts, forcing her body to respond in fear. It was then that the gravity of the entity's words settled upon her, leading her to reluctantly nod in agreement. "I'll do it…

And as she uttered those words, stillness enveloped her, as if time itself had suddenly come to a halt. In an instant, she felt herself fading away, her very essence dissolving, and she disappeared.

The shaman witnessed it and seeing everything, already running from danger before the Jeans vanished, the high priest had already disappeared by using his subordinate's shield to protect himself from the vipers' bite and acid.

"Get out of the way, you idiot!" one priest exclaimed, his voice filled with sheer panic as he ran for his life, adrenaline coursing through his veins. In a desperate attempt to save himself from the impending doom, he pushed another priest aside, positioning him as a human shield against the approaching wave of sepentine acid. The toxic substance struck the unfortunate priest with brutal force, splattering across his face and swiftly eroding his soft skin, transforming it into a grotesque, bubbling greenish gel that mingled with his blood. The agonizing horror was visible, and the air thickened with the stench of burning flesh.

The chaos escalated as another priest, attempting to flee the catastrophe, stumbled and fell hard to the ground. His misstep was catastrophic, leaving him vulnerable amid the carnage. In a cruel twist of fate, a three-headed viper, a vile creature born of Ashura's blood, zeroed in on him with an unrelenting hunger. With terrifying speed, the serpentine monstrosity lunged toward him, targeting his eyes and mouth as it, drilled into his delicate flesh with unimaginable ferocity. The sight was one of unrestrained horror, evoking screams of terror as they all ran…

As the chaos unfolded, the entire scene was covered with the lifeless bodies of numerous priests and temple guides lying across the ground. The earthquake had wreaked havoc on the temple structure, sending tremors through the temple causing several pillars to collapse. The heavy stone beams crushed many priests beneath them, their final moments filled with disbelief and despair.

"Thud-thud-thud-thud…. The sound of heavy footsteps resonated in the dark, empty space as people hurried to escape, their breaths uneven and labored. They could hear a relentless mantra repeated: "Kill them, kill them, kill them, kill them." In the Air

"Yes, it was the high priest accompanied by two subordinates, they escaped through the altars' underground tunnel... As they ventured deeper into the man-made shadowy tunnel, an unsettling sound pierced the stillness around them.

Drrr-drrr-drrr—hollow echoes reverberated off the tunnels' walls, hinting at something-or someone approaching from behind. The high priest, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, turned sharply and called out, 'Who's there? Identify yourself!' His voice was tense as he muttered into the darkness, demanding an answer.

Suddenly, a voice emerged from the shadows, steady yet enigmatic, 'It is I….' The high priest strained to listen closely. His heart raced as he recognized the voice. 'Ohh, it's you? Elock 'he exclaimed in disbelief.

Elock stepped forward into the dim light, his figure now more distinct. 'Thought you were dead,' the high priest spat, his voice twisted with anger

A weary, unimpressed smile played on Elock's lips as he responded confidently, 'Dead? Oh, dear high priest, we do not succumb to death so easily. It takes more than that to rid this world of someone like me.'
