Chapter 13 - The breaking point

The city outside was shrouded in darkness, cloaked in a fog that seemed to seep into every corner of Jakarta. Inside the hotel suite, the air was thick with anticipation—each second feeling like a countdown to chaos.

Reynaldi stared at the screen in front of him, every muscle tense. His mind raced through every possible scenario, every threat, every betrayal. Someone close to him—someone he trusted—was feeding the enemy information.

His eyes flicked to the door, listening for any sign of movement.

**Suddenly, the room's radio crackled.**

"Target in position," a distorted voice said. "Proceed with the strike."

Reynaldi's heart hammered in his chest.

He reached for his phone, dialing a number urgently.

"Get me everything you have on Rania," he demanded. "Now."

The line went dead.

He knew this was a race against time—because the shadows were closing in, and the storm was about to explode.

---

**Meanwhile, outside the city,** a lone figure moved stealthily through the night. Cloaked in black, they had one purpose: to eliminate the threat, to wipe out everyone standing in their way.

They approached a shadowed warehouse, the perfect place to hide secrets—and secrets were what this game was all about.

The figure paused, pulling out a silenced pistol. Their eyes gleamed with ruthless intent as they prepared to strike.

**But little did they know,** someone was already waiting for them—hidden in the darkness, eyes gleaming with deadly patience.

---

**Back at the hospital,** Dito's condition was deteriorating. The monitors beeped erratically as the doctors scrambled to stabilize him.

Livia sat beside her brother, clutching his tiny hand, her eyes filled with fear and hope.

"Please, Dito," she whispered, voice trembling. "Hold on. Mama's here. I'll do anything to save you."

Reynaldi approached, his face grim but determined. "We're running out of time," he said softly. "Someone inside the company is betraying us—feeding info to Hendra. We have to find who before it's too late."

Her eyes widened with suspicion. "Could it be Rania? Or someone else?"

He hesitated, then looked directly at her. "It's someone you trust—someone close. And they're watching us right now."

Her stomach twisted. The betrayal was worse than she'd ever imagined—trust shattered like glass.

**And then her phone buzzed again.**

A new message: **"They're coming for us. Be ready."**

Her heart pounded wildly.

Reynaldi's jaw clenched. "Tonight, we strike back. We end this."

---

**Later that night,** the attack began.

The infiltrator—an expert hacker—had infiltrated the hotel's security system, planting false alarms and redirecting surveillance feeds. The chaos was orchestrated with cold precision.

In the shadows, the Puppet Master watched from their hideout, smiling darkly.

"They're falling apart," they whispered. "Soon, it will all be over."

Meanwhile, in the secret hideout outside the city, Rania sat anxiously, her lips pressed into a tight line. Her heart pounded as she read the messages flooding her encrypted device.

"They're onto us," she muttered. "But I won't let them stop us now."

She reached for her phone and dialed a number.

"Activate the next phase," she ordered. "Make sure everything is in place."

Her plan was unraveling—but her resolve was unshaken.

---

**Inside the hospital,** Dito's vital signs flickered dangerously. The medical team worked feverishly, but everyone knew the clock was ticking.

Livia sat beside her brother, tears blurring her vision. Her whispered promises felt hollow, desperate.

"Hold on, Dito," she begged. "Mama's here. I won't let anyone take you away."

Reynaldi approached silently, his face dark with worry.

"We're running out of options," he said quietly. "Someone inside our circle is feeding Hendra. We have to find him—before everything's lost."

Her mind raced with suspicion—Rania? Or someone else?

The shadows of betrayal loomed larger than ever.

---

**In the dead of night,** a silent figure slipped into the hotel's shadows, planting devices, hacking into the security feeds. Their purpose: to sow chaos, to turn order into anarchy.

They whispered in the darkness: "Let the chaos begin."

The web of lies was closing tighter, and the storm was about to break.

---

**In a hidden room somewhere deep beneath the city,** the Puppet Master stared at a map of Jakarta. The blinking dots represented targets—people, places, secrets—each one vital to their plan.

"Let chaos reign," the voice hissed. "They won't see it coming."

The game was reaching its deadly climax.

And no one was safe.
