Chapter 153 - Welcome Home.

The jet touched down in London.

The women had returned.

Nora, Aaila, Maia, Catalina, and the others gathered their bags, laughter and stories flowing among them. Tired but radiant, they climbed into sleek black SUVs, ready to reunite with the ones they loved.

Back at the Kai estate, the children were playing, and the husbands held down the fort. But nothing could prepare them for the moment the front door burst open.

"MOMMY!!!" Winter screamed as she dashed down the hallway into Maia's arms.

The kids followed, a flurry of excited footsteps and joyful cries echoing through the house.

They collided with their mothers—tears, laughter, and tight hugs.

"I missed you sooooo much!" Aaila cried, wrapping Hael up in a crushing embrace as giggles filled the room.

Kisses, long and tender, followed. Passionate. Loving. The kind that only grows with distance—and deep roots.

Upstairs, Nora slipped into the shower, washing off the exhaustion of travel. When she emerged, the room was transformed—cleaned, decorated, candles lit in corners, and fresh linen spread across the bed. She stood before the mirror and tied her hair into two playful buns, then slipped into a purple bodysuit, form-fitting and elegant.

Tonight, she wasn't just Nora.

She was Nora Zayan Kai, and her man had no idea what was coming.

With a mysterious smile, she grabbed a sleek black box, got in her car, and drove to Kai Corporation.

In the office tower, Zayan sat in a glass-walled meeting room. Liam sat peacefully by the tall windows, gazing at the city skyline with wonder. Zayan watched him, pulled out his phone, and took a photo—heart full.

Presentations droned on.

Milo and Finwick spoke calmly, professionally.

Roya, on the other hand, wore a dangerously short white skirt and perched herself near Zayan's line of sight, trying—desperately—to capture even a flicker of his attention.

But Zayan didn't blink. He was focused on work… and Nora's last text.

Milo finally leaned toward Roya.

"He's a married man now. He won't look at you," he said quietly.

"Remember what you did to him? The trouble you put him through? He has three kids now. He's not the Zayan we once knew."

Roya gritted her teeth.

"His wife," Milo continued, "is rumored to be drop-dead gorgeous. And deadly. Don't be stupid, Roya. Play with fire and you'll die in hell."

"I want him," she whispered coldly.

Finwick turned to her too. "Then you'd better organize your funeral."

Zayan laughed softly as Liam tugged on his sleeve and giggled. He kissed the boy's head and stood.

The team moved toward his office—but stopped in confusion.

Someone was sitting in his chair.

A woman, curves perfectly balanced, legs crossed, the glow of confidence radiating from her. She pushed her glasses down her nose and eyed them coolly.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Roya snapped.

The woman didn't move.

"Your eyes aren't blind, are they?" she said flatly.

"Who are you?" Milo asked, confused.

"I bet she's one of those women who seduce rich men for their money," Roya spat. "You want his money, don't you?"

Nora laughed.

"Sweetheart, I have money. And the way you're talking to me? In the next sixty seconds, you'll regret it."

Before Roya could retort—

"MAMA!!!!" Liam shrieked, scrambling down from Zayan's arms and running straight to her.

"LIAM!!!!" Nora cried, catching him in her arms and spinning him around as they hugged tightly.

Zayan stepped in, his entire expression softening.

"Z!!!" Nora gasped, running to him.

He pulled her in for a long, deep kiss—passionate and shameless in front of everyone. She giggled against his lips.

"Here," she said, handing him the black box.

He opened it.

And froze.

The Xbox Series 8—the newest, most advanced console on the market. Sleek, matte black. High-tech. Every game installed.

Zayan screamed.

"NORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

He lifted her off the ground, spinning her around like a boy on Christmas morning.

"Oh my LORD!!!"

Liam giggled watching his parents spin like children.

The Black Scar Lords burst into the room.

"HI NORA!!!" the boys chorused. Alex followed close behind.

Zayan collapsed onto the couch, cradling the console like a newborn.

Kian gawked. "Wait. Is that the latest Xbox Series?!"

"Yeah," Nora said, smiling. "I got it for £34 million."

"WHAAAAT?" they all screamed.

Zayan pressed the center button. The console lit up.

Welcome to Xbox.

He blinked fast. He wanted to cry.

He hugged Nora again.

"I love you so, so much."

"I love you too," she whispered.

Roya stood in the corner, face like stone. Finwick and Milo exchanged glances and remained silent.

Later that evening, Zayan introduced them properly.

"Nora, meet my old college mates—Finwick, Milo… and Roya."

Nora tilted her head. "Hi," she said politely.

Roya's smile was thin. Bitter. Nora clocked it immediately.

And so did Zayan.

In the car, with Liam in her lap, Nora looked at him sideways.

"Why the fuck did she look at me like I stole something?"

Zayan sighed.

"Back in college… I was the nerd. They used me. Roya was the 'it' girl. Everyone wanted her. I did too."

Nora stiffened.

"She knew it. One day, she told me to get something from the HOD's office. When I got there, a dog was dead. They blamed it on me. Whole school turned on me. I was stoned. My sisters watched. Meira stepped in—she got the proof that I was innocent. But by then… Dad didn't even bail me out. I spent weeks in jail."

Nora's hands clenched.

"I hated everything. Everyone. Including my father. I nearly shot them all. That day, I realized—if I became The Devil, I could build my empire… and never be hurt again."

He looked at her, eyes soft.

"Until you. You cracked my stone-cold heart, Nora. Only you. And our kids. I love you."

Nora stared at him, speechless. Then leaned in and kissed him—deeply.

"I love you too, baby."

At home, the twins attacked her with hugs.

"MAMA!!!"

Later, Meira, Melanie, and the rest of the family gathered.

"What the heck, Zayan?!" Meira shouted. "That Roya has a partnership with the company?!"

"Woah—baby, calm down—" Desmon began.

"NO!" Meira snapped. "You remember what that stupid bitch did back in school?"

"I agree," Meira said. "Dad didn't even bail you out. And you still let her near?"

"No wonder she was giving me that cold shoulder," Nora muttered.

"She knows you're his wife," Melanie added.

"She tried to get close," Zayan said. "But Liam kept pushing her away. He's been in my arms all week."

"Right, my boy!!!" he added proudly.

"If she does anything stupid," Meira growled, "I'll shoot her."

"Aww, Meira cares for me," Zayan teased.

Meira patted his head. Everyone laughed.

That night, Zayan and Nora curled up in bed, limbs tangled, hearts beating as one. His lips traced her skin, her fingers threaded through his hair.

"I missed you so much, baby," he murmured, kissing her deeply.

"I missed you more," she breathed.

In the distance, in the villa, Rose and Azara had their own reunion—and the air was filled with moans of passion.
