Chapter 50 - 50: Fractured Hearts

Teeradon groaned as the palm of the man beneath him struck his neck, followed by another blow to his chest.

"I hate you. Stop right now. Get off me." Metas shoved against Teeradon's muscular chest and abs, trying to push him away while struggling to escape.

"What? I'm almost finished," Teeradon snapped, irritation lacing his voice.

"Don't. Stop." Metas fought harder, pushing Teeradon with all his strength. "I'm not your outlet for lust."

"Metas, stay still." Teeradon's voice turned cold, refusing to stop, still thrusting his hips in increasingly forceful and rapid motions against the young singer.

"You're doing this to me while moaning another man's name. If you want him so badly, go find him. Why bother with me? Go find your precious Wittawin." Metas's eyes blazed red, his face tight with fury.

Teeradon froze, then went still. He pulled away from Metas, who immediately flipped over and fled to the bathroom.

After returning from Rayong, Teeradon had invited the young singer for pleasure at their luxury hotel room. Their passion had been heavy and heated, with Metas responding to him wholeheartedly—until paradise crumbled when he accidentally called out Wittawin's name.

Damn it. This is bad. Even with my eyes closed, I see only one face floating back and forth, along with that pale ass and the mustang tattoo on his right thigh...

That night when Wittawin lost the bet and slept with me at the hotel, I secretly got up in the middle of the night. The little dolphin was sound asleep, so he didn't know I pulled back his robe to look at the part of Wittawin I liked most. But the youthful face of the young man sleeping with fluttering eyelashes captivated me far more...

Wittawin's lips are so red, soft and sweet beyond anyone else's. Just a light kiss for a few seconds made the blood in my body pump hard. The desire packed tight inside almost burst out, forcing me to get up and calm myself in the bathroom for ages...

When will I get to kiss him for real instead of having to trick him by pretending to drown so Wittawin would give me mouth-to-mouth, or stealing kisses while he sleeps?...

When? How long? I can barely stand it anymore...

Though his heart wanted to find Wittawin, after work today Teeradon found himself standing in front of the single-story building of the charmingly named kindergarten school. It was already very late in the evening. According to the security guard, Pirayu was still working in his office, so Teeradon took the opportunity to walk around the peaceful school grounds. He couldn't help but feel sorry for Pirayu that this place would soon exist only in memory.

The image of Wittawin walking out of the luxury hotel elevator followed by Baramee still stuck in Teeradon's mind, impossible to erase. He couldn't help but imagine what might have happened between Wittawin and Baramee. After they finished, they probably came out of the room and went downstairs to eat, before returning to lounge on the balcony watching the sunset as Baramee had suggested.

Pirayu's smile is so bright. He admits that being with Pirayu makes him feel at ease. Pirayu's personality makes him feel relaxed, happy to be close by. And today he came to see this young man to confirm to himself that this is the happiness he needs. Pirayu is the one who sits in his heart, not Wittawin who only runs away, or even speeds away on his motorcycle...

Or is Baramee deliberately provoking him? As if little daddy would actually stay overnight with Wittawin. Would someone like Wittawin really sleep with Baramee? Wittawin likes him instead...

Pirayu could be the part that completes his life. Pirayu will take care of him, stay by his side and cure his loneliness. He admits that lately he's felt very lonely...

Or is he overthinking? But he can't help thinking that Wittawin might like him somewhat, just still playing hard to get. Who wouldn't like Teeradon? Everyone likes him. Wittawin should like him too. Even Pirayu likes him...

No, Pirayu loves him. Loves him and is ready to live together. He wouldn't have to worry about anything if Pirayu were his boyfriend. Wouldn't have to get moody when people oppose him. Pirayu is a good follower, not like Wittawin who never yields to him at all...

But he doesn't just like Wittawin. Now he thinks he feels much more than that...

And with Pirayu? How much does he feel for Pirayu?...

Soon, Pirayu came down from the school building, beaming at Teeradon from afar. The bright smile captivated Teeradon's gaze, but he secretly sighed thinking of another person.

Pirayu's dear friend...

Why? Why does it have to be Pirayu? Why does Pirayu have to be Wittawin's friend? And what will he gain from being here, trying to prove his own heart?...

Pirayu and Wittawin are close friends...

"He likes to think of me as a child, a little brother, or someone he needs to protect and look after. But having a friend like this is good—I don't have to worry about anyone bullying me because I have a big shot to handle the bad people who might hurt me"...

Teeradon sighed, remembering when Pirayu had told him about his 'wonderful friend.'

The bad person who would hurt Pirayu would probably be Teeradon himself. Who else could it be?...

"Khun Don, sorry for letting wait for too long?" Pirayu leaned closer with a smile, showing his clean white teeth, eyes sparkling brightly.

"Waited until my stomach was completely empty," Teeradon replied with a smile. "Let's go eat. And have you finished preparing everything for the Christmas event?"

"Almost done. Everything's ninety-five percent ready. The computer system is ready to show off to the donors too." Pirayu smiled gratefully at the donor standing nearby. "Thank you so much for donating the computers to my school. I'm still surprised why you chose our school."

"My company has a new policy. We want to donate to well-established schools in the city."

"Not really. Our school is currently facing a storm. We have to move in less than a year. If the talented person who set up the computer system knew, they'd be furious for wasting time on the installation that has to be torn down." Pirayu smiled thinly while talking about the school's recent problems.

"If there's anything I can help with, just let me know," Teeradon smiled gently, gazing at Pirayu's fresh face and couldn't help comparing it with his 'friend' who had an equally fresh face.

Would Wittawin smile like Pirayu if his own company's rental building was reclaimed by the owner?

That little devil would probably rage and challenge everyone to a fight. With that attitude of never yielding to anyone, there's no way he'd smile and accept problems like Pirayu.

But isn't someone like this exactly who he should have as a boyfriend? Pirayu is so gentle and lovely, but...

"Thank you, but everything's still okay for now. I believe we'll get through this period. I'm negotiating with the landlord. There should be a good solution."

"Unbelievable. So small but so strong." Teeradon praised.

"I run the school because I love it. What about you, Khun Don? Do you do it out of love too?"

"Which one?" Teeradon raised an eyebrow. "The company or the club? I'll tell you—I don't do either out of love."

Pirayu looked surprised and waited for Teeradon to continue. He always thought that a playboy like Teeradon would be perfect as the owner of a luxury club.

"I do it because my father forced me. Because they already existed. When I grew up and graduated from college, I just continued. I took over the club from my father's close friend, who begged and practically forced me to do it." Teeradon shrugged before opening the car door for Pirayu. "Actually, I wanted to be a pilot."

"A pilot?" Pirayu exclaimed in disbelief.

"But we never get what we truly want, do we?" Teeradon murmured, gesturing for Pirayu to get in the car.

Yes, I agree. It's very difficult to get everything we want. But I still have hope. As long as I'm breathing, what we want should become ours someday...

Pirayu smiled faintly as he waited for Teeradon to take the driver's seat. His mind began thinking about his love life with Teeradon, and he couldn't help but bring Wittawin into it. Tomorrow he had arranged for his friend to visit the school, intending to introduce him to Teeradon before the Christmas event. He didn't want Wittawin to meet the man he loved during the busy event day, and he wasn't sure if his friend would scold him when he learned that his 'special man' was Teeradon. He knew Wittawin definitely wouldn't approve if he chose someone like Teeradon as his lover.

The man he loves, but does he love him back?

Pirayu still remembered Teeradon's words from their first meeting—short words that stuck in his ears and heart. The young man realized clearly that loving Teeradon might not end well and he'd be heartbroken because Teeradon was a playboy who didn't seem serious about love. But Pirayu still wanted to try. He had told Wittawin that he was ready to jump into the abyss of love, ready to fight against the fierce currents if love would carry him far away, ready to face whatever would happen. And if Toey spoke the truth, his goodness, gentleness, and cheerful brightness might make Teeradon love him.

With love comes suffering. Now that he's in love, he wants to know which will be greater—love or suffering?...
