Chapter 1 - Prolouge

My name… doesn't matter anymore.

Back then, I was just an ordinary 17-year-old boy.

My life revolved around school, homework, sleep, and the same boring routine. I wasn't the smartest, but not the dumbest either. Not popular, but not an outcast.

My hobbies? I loved reading novels especially fantasy ones.

The kind with magic, adventure, demon lords, heroes, and sometimes... waifus.

Those stories let me escape reality.

Even though I knew real life would never be that exciting, I liked to imagine being in a world like that.

Oh and for the record:

I had never dated anyone. Not even a crush.

Typical introverted teen stuff, you know?

Then... just like that, my life ended.

No warning.

No dramatic music.

No last words.

We were on a small family trip to the beach that day just my parents, my older sister, and me. She was my only sibling. We fought a lot, but that day, she was smiling. Laughing. Running toward the waves.

I followed her from behind, smiling too.

And then, out of nowhere... a wave came.

Huge. Fast. Powerful.

I heard her scream. The ocean pulled her away, sweeping her off her feet.

Without thinking, I dove in.

There was no time to hesitate.

No fear. No doubt.

Just one thought in my head:

Save her.

I managed to push her toward the shore.

But before I could swim back… a bigger wave hit me.

Hard.

Cold.

Dark.

Silent.

I couldn't breathe. I tried to swim up, but my limbs were heavy. There was no direction. No light. Only the deep blue swallowing everything.

And in the distance I heard voices.

My sister, screaming my name in tears.

"I'm sorry! Please don't leave me!"

My father, panicked, reaching out through the water.

"Grab my hand! Don't let go!"

I caught a glimpse of them blurred by water.

My sister sobbing in my mother's arms.

My father getting closer, almost reaching me.

But the sea pulled me deeper.

The sound faded.

Everything faded.

I'm sorry…

I can't make it back…

My consciousness slipped.

My world went dark.

That's when I knew…

I was going to die.

But strangely enough… death wasn't the end.

Somewhere in the void, I floated.

I didn't dream. I didn't breathe. I just... existed.

Time passed. Or maybe it didn't.

A second? A day? A thousand years?

I couldn't tell.

And then, finally…

Light.

I opened my eyes or tried to.

My vision was blurry. Everything felt massive.

Unfamiliar voices echoed around me.

> "Congratulations, Your Grace. It's a healthy baby girl."

...A what?

A girl?!

I tried to speak, but all that came out was a loud cry.

No way.

No freaking way.

This tiny body… this weak voice…

Was this me now?!

My vision slowly cleared.

A stunning woman with long silver hair held me tightly. Beside her, a tall, regal man with a proud smile looked down at me.

> "She shall be named Ariellee La Astrax," he said.

Ariellee.

La Astrax.

A noble girl.

What the hell was happening?

No system. No quests. No gods assigning me a mission.

Just… death, and then this.

A new life.

In the body of a baby girl.

Born into a powerful noble family, in a world I didn't recognize.

And the worst part?

I couldn't even lift my damn head.

God help me.

This was how it all began.

My old name doesn't matter anymore.

Now, I am Ariellee La Astrax a noble daughter of a prestigious house, born in a land of magic, blades, and shadows.

And little did I know…

This world was anything but peaceful.

This isn't the tale of a charming prince or a spoiled princess.

This is my story

A former teenage boy, reborn as a noble girl, trying to survive in a dangerous world where darkness stirs beneath the surface.

And the journey of Ariellee La Astrax…

Has only just begun.
