Chapter 1 - CHAPTER ONE

I was standing under the scorching hot sun, 7th on the line of girls listening to the assembly's prefect announcement. Out of fourteen girls in the line, I stood number seven. Why? You may presume..... Well in summer field high, New York we arrange according to height and I was literarily the average in our line of 14 girls.

"We'd like to use this opportunity to appreciate our top scorer in this terms midterms" our assembly prefect Mandy said as our principal and vice went to the stage.

"And the fifth position goes to...." She started calling as everyone applauded, the principal shakes their hands and handed the certificate then smiled to the camera... And here it comes, I fixed my hair, adjusted my tie knowingly as the principal said.....

"And the first position goes to..."

Beep!!Beep!! Beep!!!...

"Wake up sweetie!! or you're gonna be late for your new school!!" my mom shouted from downstairs....

" *urgh* I'm up, I'm up". I replied sitting up on my bed. I rushed to the bathroom to see my messy hair and appearance.

After freshening up I went to my room and saw my new uniform resting neatly on my bed. Using a towel to dry my hair I scrutinized the uniform.

It was a plain white buttoned up long sleeved top encrested with my new school 'wind ville high' badge, with a pink mini plaited skirt that had a gold strips on the waist line as the design paired with a pink crop top jacket that had gold strips also and the school badge.

Then a pink neckerchief that had a golden pin.

****************

Note guys neckerchief is like a bandana or a handkerchief that is worn around the neck in a pin down tie form 😊.

I Got dressed hastily because my dad doesn't tolerate lateness, I checked myself and smiled because I've got to admit the uniform really suit me. I wore my black knees length socks as the skirt stopped right above my knee, before running downstairs to have breakfast..

My dad was reading his newspaper while sipping tea, while my mom served the pancakes....

"Morning mom, Morning dad" I said sitting at the table, our house had a good size, enough to contain our needed materials even though my parents and siblings were filthy rich they only bought a mansion big enough to contain necessities and nothing extra. My mom sat down after serving me my breakfast, once she was seated and everyone had started eating in silence (when i say everyone I mean I, my father and mother) my dad dropped his newspaper.... Before looking at me with utter most seriousness...

"Do you know why you are changing schools?" My dad asked eyes fixed on me....

'Of course Dad It's because I'm a disappointment'.... I thought "No dad" I said focusing intently on my pancakes like they were aliens from another planet...

"You are about to enter Senior High , you have to be serious.... Don't let my money on private tutors this holiday go to waste" He said seriously....

" I want to see first position, by the end of the first class.... So you have 3 semesters to straighten up" He said before sighing lightly..

"If you make no progress, I won't fund your school fees anymore" He said with a look of tired resignation..... "Your brother will drop you off at your new school from there he will head to his college, his holiday is over.... The private driver will take to from and to school after today" With that he got up and left and as if on queue my immediate elder brother louis came down the stairs greeted my dad on his way up and grabbed a pancake from my plate, ruffling my hair as he plopped his butt down beside me.

"Stop it, am not a kid anymore" I whined angry that he ruffled my carefully prepared hairstyle....

"Oh but you'll always be a kid to me, to us brothers..... You'll always be our cherished baby sister" Louis said with a stupid loving grin on his face "come on, I'll drive you"...with that being said we headed to my new school windville high.

I buckled my leather black boots well as I grabbed my backpack and headed off his car. "Hey, remember cupcake no FIGHTING" louis called putting emphasis on the fighting

"yeah, yeah" I replied nonchalantly before heading in to meet the glaring golden sign of this new school called 'Windville High'...

Okay okay I think I've gotten too much Into my story without saying my proper introduction.

I am Charlie Jones, 15 years old about to start senior high. In a family of 8, I am the last child out of 6 children... So technically I am number 6 of 6, I have 5 older brothers...

Cody Jones. The first child who is already married to a woman named Tia who is pregnant at the moment.... My older brother Cody is currently living at Washington Dc. He has a nice job that pays him well though I don't know what it is as Cody is like the mysterious one in our family.... Anyways...we have,

Luthor Jones. The second child, He is a famously known buisnessman living in Boston. He is the CEO of 'Lex corp' .He was also nominated the 3rd on the list of the world's richest and youngest hearthrobs ... Next we have..

Lioniel Jones. The third child, who is currently living in los vegas, He has no real Job but loves playing games... So I guess that's his job.. Maybe.. Anyways, He is known in the gaming world as the legendary 'L' and L is a famous mysterious gamer known and feared by all (nobody knows his real identity) aside us his family and his current girlfriend Kelly...next is..

Leo Jones. The fourth child, after finishing his country's service he was recruited to join a top secret agency as a secret agent.. So therefore his current location is known by none not even us his family. He travels a lot and changes his Identity a lot. Okay so next is my immediate older brother...

Louis Jones. The fifth child, He is currently a final year student in a university in caulifonia. So we see often during his holiday's but aside from when he is in school he works as a krav maga instructor for high schoolers teaching them martial arts and also middle schoolers at times..... Finally and Lastly...

I, Charlie Jones the sixth/Last child and the most tomboyish girl you'll ever meet... Well that was before I started senior high. At the early age of 4/5 when my brothers weren't as famous as they are now, we use to be very close and being in a house full of boys as the only girl it was only natural I acted a tad bit boyish... I got into fights with any shitty Kid that thought they were bigger than us smaller kids, I loved baggy cloths and playing soccer was my favourite pass time.

I and my brothers were bestfriends and They always shielded me from our parents wrath, my brothet's taught me how to be strong, how to fight back to ensure I never get bullied when they are not around but if i ever got into trouble they'd always support and spoil me. I was my brother's little princess...at least that's what they always said... But due to my habits of always solving problems with my fists than mouth and of always sneaking of to play soccer instead of study, I had to change schools a lot so from the early teenage age of 13 till now I had already been to 14 schools in total and this 'windville' was my 15th. My father eventually slowly started to give up on me and saw me as a disappointment

Due to my grades I was often called dumb by my peers which always led to a kid's broken nose, lost teeth or broken limb... But despite all those my brothers never gave up on me they always loved me to bits supporting me in their own unique ways Till i turned 13 that was when the school streak started it was because when i turned 13 they started leaving one by one due to jobs or love they couldn't all stay in caulifonia and it hurt more than I let out.

I wasn't dumb at least I didn't think I was

.. I just hated studying as I felt it was a waste of time, time that could be spent on my brothers or on soccer... I'd always escape my tutors or school lecture to go play street soccer or to just kick the ball around.

Eventually it was only louis left... I always felt bored at home, all alone, no close friends and after I finally finished 9th grade (junior high) my father finally snapped and gave me what he called a pep talk but whag I call a hurl of Insults and harsh, unfair comparism.
