Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Boy Who Lived

September 1, 1991, London, King's Cross Station, Platform 9 and 3/4.

Today was the start of the new school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the only magical school in Britain.

A crimson steam engine stood beside the crowded platform, its thick smoke swirling above the chattering crowd, while various owls screeched in their cages and cats of all colors weaved through people's legs.

From a compartment near the back of the train, two coughs were heard, and a pale hand reached out to pull up the window glass, seemingly to block out the smoke and noise from outside.

A small boy sat alone inside, retracting his gaze from the window.

This boy had short black hair and black eyes. A large black mask completely covered the lower part of his face, from his eyes down, and something seemed to be stuffed under the mask, causing a noticeable bulge. In contrast, his physique appeared somewhat thinner than that of his peers.

He wore a slightly worn, plain wizard's robe, and beside him lay an old-looking suitcase. He returned his gaze to the open book in front of him, muttering, "Having too good a sense of smell is really annoying!"

However, he couldn't concentrate on reading the words in the book, his thoughts drifting away.

Allen Finis was sent to a Muggle orphanage in London when he was one year old. His swaddling clothes contained only a note with his birthdate and this name.

Unlike other Muggle-born wizards, Allen didn't just learn about the existence of Hogwarts a month or two ago; he knew he was a wizard when he was ten years old.

When he was ten, he was bullied by older children at the orphanage. His emotions fluctuated intensely, leading to a violent magical outburst. According to the Ministry of Magic's later assessment, this magical outburst was the most powerful ever recorded.

The intense magical outburst severely damaged the orphanage and directly alarmed the Ministry of Magic. The Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes was dispatched urgently, erasing the memories of hundreds of Muggle witnesses to suppress the incident. Allen also suffered severe injuries and was sent to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries for treatment.

After St. Mungo's Hospital spared no expense in his treatment, Allen's life was finally saved, and he woke up after five months in a coma. This incident also earned Allen some minor fame in the wizarding world.

"Transfiguration Today" magazine even did an exclusive interview with Allen, and several renowned wizards from academia came to visit him, such as the famous historian Bathilda Bagshot, Transfiguration master Emeric Switch, and even Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall from Hogwarts. There was even a woman named Nymphadora Tonks who came to confirm if he was her distant relative.

All of this was because Allen was a natural Metamorphmagus, capable of changing his appearance at will. However, due to this historically unprecedented magical outburst, coupled with the subsequent magical treatment, Allen's innate talent mutated and became uncontrollable.

Every morning when Allen woke up, he would find that an organ in his head had randomly transformed into an animal organ. What was magical was that these animal organs were not merely superficial like those of other Metamorphmagi; they genuinely possessed the abilities of those animal organs. Furthermore, Allen's brain could surprisingly process the information transmitted by these organs normally. However, these organs also placed a considerable burden on Allen's small body. Although Allen had a good appetite, his physique always remained somewhat thinner than his peers.

On the day Allen woke up, he had randomly acquired the eyes of some animal, and this animal was colorblind, so he only saw colors in black, white, and gray. Then, the next day, he randomly got a pair of cat ears, which gave him excellent hearing, and, well... he could also fold his ears...

The worst time was when he randomly got frog eyes—blind to still objects but extremely sensitive to moving ones, which caused him to become reclusive for an entire day. Even eating became a problem. To see the dishes on the table, he eventually had to eat while shaking the table with his legs to clearly see the position of the food on the plate. Although some spilled, at least he didn't go hungry. He even started to muse that Geng Shuai's earthquake-eating artifact invention on Earth wasn't so useless after all; at least it was quite suitable for this current scenario.

It seems something strange has intruded. That's right, Allen has a "Jing Tian Da Mi Mi" (a huge secret, following the input method's will) in his heart.

He was a transmigrator. Before his transmigration, he was a programmer at a small factory. Just as Universal Studios Beijing was opening, he went to join the fun, but suffered heatstroke while queuing for the Harry Potter ride. His body, ravaged by the 996 work schedule, was so fragile that he died before an ambulance could even arrive.

His soul thus transmigrated into the Harry Potter world, just as it encountered the native Allen, whose soul had been destroyed by the magical outburst. In this way, he occupied Allen's body, merged with the remnants of Allen's soul, and began his journey in the magical world.

Allen only belatedly realized he had transmigrated into the Harry Potter world when he met Dumbledore.

Because he had previously seen a short video about Dumbledore and had some impression of this wizard who resembled Gandalf.

However, he hadn't read the novels or watched the movies, only knowing the general plot was a story about a dark lord returning and then being defeated. But that didn't stop him from yearning for the wonders of this world.

But after the initial excitement of entering the magical world, the cruel reality forced Allen to start worrying about his future in this world, because no one could explain what was going on with this unreliable ability, and no one could cure him.

Every night before going to sleep, Allen carried a hint of fear in his heart, afraid that the organ he randomly acquired the next day would cause him permanent damage. For example, growing horns in the wrong direction, piercing through his skull directly, making rescue impossible; or randomly getting a fish's brain, in which case he would probably forget everything after seven seconds, making life worse than death.

Although this ability hasn't caused Allen much harm to date, he has always been vigilant, as he has lived once before and cherishes this life greatly.

This ability also attracted the attention of everyone in the field of Transfiguration. People tried to study this unique ability to promote the development of Transfiguration.

However, after various studies, the results were still meager. Nevertheless, Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall brought an invitation to Hogwarts when they came to see Allen, inviting him to learn magic and find a way to cure himself.

Allen accepted the invitation without much thought, and later received his Hogwarts acceptance letter, thus embarking on the train journey to Hogwarts.

Just now, Allen saw the black-haired boy pushing a snow-white owl on the platform. He watched him carry his trunk onto the train alone, and then two red-haired twins went to help him.

"That's Harry Potter! From the records in 'The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts,' he should be eleven this year. This is the starting point of the story!" he thought to himself.

At this moment, the train started. Allen snapped out of his thoughts and saw a red-haired little girl on the platform chasing the train. As the train accelerated, she was left behind but kept waving at the train.

It wasn't until the train rounded a bend that the little girl was out of sight. Buildings flashed past the train window, and Allen's mood gradually became joyful.

He rummaged through his bag for a notebook and a quill, dipped it in ink, and turned to a fresh page. Although the large mask somewhat obstructed his view, he still wrote:

"Hello, world!"

After writing, he examined it carefully, a bitter smile involuntarily rising in his heart: "It's a professional habit I can't shake, no matter where I go!"

Then he wrote below:

"Hello, Harry Potter!"
