At his disappointment in me, i found that my body involuntarily moved on its own and i stood in front of the sighing disappointingly Ludo completely covering him up in my shadow, then without any warning i once again slapped him, but this time i adjusted my strength quite perfectly to not trigger the binding contract effect .
The slap fell on his cheek without him even able to notice my hand moving, the moment it fell i heard the sound of something cracking, then the still sulking Ludo flow into the distance like a fly, leaving behind a scream of agony and a few last words, he said :
Won't you cut this out already, damn it .
I saw how high off the ground did i stand and began to approximately guess that i was almost as tall as the Goblin Lord that i met the last week, maybe i was a bit more taller and much stronger too .
Was i really now a demon, the blue skin tone, the black wings, that black heart that i now had in my heart, there was no denying it at this point, i really have become a Demon, what bullshit plan did that guy say he had .
It can't be as stupid as turning me to their side so that i forget about helping the humans and joining them, with his idiotic way of thinking, something like this was quite in line with his way of thinking, if that what was his plan really about, it will leave me unable to decide whether to laugh or cry .
He should be happy that i was no longer angry as before or else if i didn't kill him, i could have kept on breaking every bone he had in his body over and over until i feel satisfied, weirdly that thought began to become more and more feasible to do .
But first i will need to understand what was exactly going on with my body first and what exactly happened to me .
Even though he was sent flying a few meters away in the distance, but the moment his body began to make the tiny bit of noise, i was able to hear them clearly now, i just had the thought of flying with my wings, when they spread behind me and hovered one time, then as if teleporting i appeared on the crater that he created when he crashed down and directly in front of him .
His face still had the same horrified expression as before, no it seemed to have became even stronger than before, to me it didn't matter much, all i cared about now was to understand what was exactly going on here with my body .
I began to land beside him, while feeling that my new body was once again beginning to become quite heavy, i closed my eyes and once again was able to see that my body was releasing Mana in a drastic manner, i tried to use my Mind Power to try and interact with the Mana that was circling around me, i was able to actually succeed, but then i felt as if i had swallowed a fly and began to cough quite severally .
I was wondering what was the huge difference between the Mana in the Mana Stones and the Mana circling in the atmosphere around me, when a sudden cough from the now waking up Ludo together with a message that helped in clearing my confusion, after coughing out some of the dirt he unconsciously seemed to have swallowed, he said :
I really hoped that i die this time so that i take you with me to the grave, shouldn't you give other people to explain what were they sighing disappointingly at, before hitting them, i'm unable to feel the left side of my jaw and cheekbones and this was all thanks to you .
I was sighing at the fact that you are still unable to move Mana efficiently in or out of your body, even though you were given a huge amount of Mana Stones, you were unable to absorb the Mana in them efficiently, leading to the fact that most of the energy dissipated not soon after, i was feeling a bit bitter about how much Mana was lost due to your inefficient way of absorbing it .
But i guess that can't be helped, you still don't know any sort of training methods so you being able to absorb that much on your own using only Mind Power was somewhat an amazing feat in itself .
But keep in mind that you are currently unable to adjust to your new body, i believe you have already noticed that every action you make seemed to cost you a lot of Mana, that was mainly because of the lack of control you currently have on your Mana .
I also don't advise you to try and refine the low quality Mana that exist in this land, it has a bad effect on the Mana Core, almost like the Mana Core detest that kind of Mana for unknown reason, forcing the absorption upon your Mana Core will lead to a catastrophic effects on your strength and Mind Power .
I somehow was able to get what he was talking about, but i was more waiting for a solution than a diagnosis, i began to talk for the first time since i had become like this, saying :
" What had exactly happened to me, what did you do ? .
My tone seemed to be similar to that of a lion roaring, luckily i didn't lose my way with words or else it would have been quite difficult for me to communicate with him or any other person for what it matters .
Even though i wasn't enraged, just a little bit of angry and that's all, my words came out of my mouth as if the moment he say a wrong word, i will directly swallow him, i unknowingly sounded indeed like a troll .
He seeing me like this released a small chuckle while he was beginning to stand up from the crater he was in, i still in monster form got close to him to the point that my eyes were completely locked on his face and body, turning and seeing my head and eyes looking at him from this close of a distance .
His pupils contracted and he stumbled back into the ground, he began muttering something, but i was unable to comprehend what he was trying to say, but one thing was certain the guy in front of me was completely reacting differently from before for some reason .
I gave him enough space and time to readjust his body and moved a bit far from him and sat down waiting for his explanation, he adjusted his body and cleaned himself up from the dust and the debris using Mana, intentionally or not he showed a great control over his Mana, at least enough control to show that he was surpassing me in this regard by quite the large margin .
He then stood in front of me and began to say :
Just before i say anything, i will have you know that everything i did was to make the plan i had in mind succeed without much of a problem or putting you in danger .
I still don't know shit about that damned plan of his, but him doing this confirmed one thing for me, whatever that will come out of his mouth next, i will most likely won't like it even for a little bit .
I didn't reply to him and as before he concluded that i gave him a silent approval and continued to say :
What happened was a long story, that i will do my best to make it as short as possible for you, I told you before that you will be baptized after opening the Mythical Gate and that what exactly happened, but normally you would have needed to go through the process in the Real World due to the abundance of Mana of high quality there, but here there was nothing but low quality Mana that would leave your Mana Core injured instead of blessed .
So i had to improvise something up, i used Mana Stones tons and tons of Mana Stones and covered you in them, your body began being baptized by the Mana in them transforming your body inside out, this process alone should have increased your strength by a a 5 or 8 times .
" What did you do ", i caught the hidden meaning behind him saying only, he then began to take a few seconds trying to organizing his thoughts, before continuing to say :
I gave you a few drops of blood essence i poured them on your back while your body was finishing its metamorphosis, before you get angry, that action wasn't what caused you to become a hybrid between human and demon like this, i'm quite certain of that, something more powerful was at work here, let me ask you this one last time to confirm, but were you really a human back in your old world .
I really felt my hand itching to hit him again in where it hurts, what kind of question was that, what made things worse was that he was 100 percent telling the truth, one of the terms of the binding contract i wrote made sure of that, so i was now a demon and he had the nerve to say that it had nothing to do with him, not a fully demon but a hybrid .
Just so that he confirm whatever he needed to confirm i answered him that i was indeed a human back in my old world and asked him what he meant by saying that i was a hybrid, this time he didn't hesitate for even a second before saying :
In simple terms you are now a mix between the two races, inheriting both their strengths and weaknesses, similar to the kids of the Demon Emperor, but you are for some reason much stronger and you had a quite heavy aura around you, pressuring all those who are weaker than you, i have never seen something like this before .
The drops of blood i used should have at most allowed you to blend in with the demons without being discovered, but for some unknown reason you had completely transformed in a way that i never thought was possible .
You now can able live as a Demon or a Human with no one able to notice the difference from the outside, that will work wonderingly in favor of the plan succeeding .
He suddenly ducked his head as he already expected my attack, parring the slap that was coming his way to awoken him from his state of ecstasy .
" Is there a way to reverse this kind of change .
He looked at me weirdly and said :
There is but it may be a life threatening action, but why would you even want to go back, you are now able to be both with no much of a problem not to mention that the percentage of the plan succeeding had skyrocketed in this way .
He had a smug face that 100 percent looked as if asking for beating, but remembering that he kept emphasizing on that plan of his over and over, i couldn't help but throw most of the other questions out of my mind for now and ask him what exactly was that plan of his .
Hearing my question, he began looking left and right as if checking whether someone was currently around us or not, then he cleared his throat and said :
We will pull off the same stunt that the Demon Emperor pulled on the people of this land, i will help you stopping the Demon invasion from inside the ranks of Demons .
You will go to the Real World and find what you want to do then.
I looked at him as if looking at a person who lost his sanity completely, he noticing my look, helped him knowing what i was thinking to some extent, he continued to say :
If you have any other plans for how to stop the invasion, i'm all ears, you know, i thought of this plan after concurring that you at least more sane than the Demon Emperor and won't start mercilessly killing all of the Demons, i'm not trying to pressure you here but you really need to make up your mind soon, we have wasted enough time, two weeks, that was how long it took you to complete your transformation .
Two week of the initial period of time that was 2 months, i began to think about different kind of things, like the fact that i now had quite the powerful wings, i could be able to fly in the direction of Troland and reach there in time .
But that was just a fantasy, i was suffering from a huge setback that didn't even allow me to think about doing something like this, my use of Mana, but i also concurred that with enough Mana Stones, i can be able to solve that predicament, i told him to hand over the Mana Stones .
And he seemed to understand my intention as he removed his belt and through it at me, i was surprised at what he was doing, just as i caught the belt in my hand, he said :
If you are thinking about flying back to Troland on your own, i won't stop you, but i don't believe that sort of action is still available for you to take, use your Mind Power to see for yourself .
His words seemed to be squeezing my heart, i was beginning to have a bad premonition about this, but i still used my Mind Power to open the belt, it was my first time in trying to use my Mind Power intentionally, but it was surprisingly something that was quite easy to do .
I opened the belt and in my mind, i had a through image of all of its content, the Spatial Equipment like belt was massive from the inside with rows upon rows of gold in every corner, there were one thing that caught my attention in the belt, the huge lack of Mana Stones in it .
I removed my consciousness from the belt and returned back and looked at the Ludo in front of me, thinking that he might be pulling some strings here, he seeing me looking at him like this handed me the two bracelet that i had taken from the bodies of the other Demons, i checked the two Spatial bracelet and so that just like the belt, the amount of Mana Stones in the two bracelets were quite few in number .
Meaning that even if i wanted to make the trip, i wouldn't be able to, due to the fact that i would be using both Stamina and Mana in ever move i took or made, complexing the matters of reaching Troland even more .
