ADELINE'S POV
I was reluctant to leave Dante's house this evening but I had to force myself to remember that I have a life out of my infatuation with him. I skipped work today because I was so wasted but Dante Is not the only patient I have and I still have a job to worry about.
I'm particularly excited about the fact that Dante agreed to fake date me but he made it pretty clear to me that none of it will be fake to him. I don't know if I believe him or not but I feel this warmness and excitement in my heart from the thought of having to introduce him to my parents as my boyfriend.
Dante's handsome and he probably has the most amazing face I've ever seen on a man but he's handsome in a dangerous kind of way. He has tattoos and an intensity about him that will definitely scare my parents and that's exactly what I'm going for but I'll have to convince my parents that Dante and I are serious and hopefully, they'll leave me the hell alone.
"I don't want you to go." Dante says and hugs me from behind, my ass grinding on his erection and I smile despite myself surprised at how both of us can still be so turned on even after all what we've done.
"I didn't pique you to be the clingy type, Dante." I close my eyes when he sinks his face into my neck and kisses me softly, with all the gentleness in the world.
"I want to keep you." He says with a groan and I chuckle turning around to face him. If he keeps touching me the way he does, speaking to me the way he doe, I just might actually start feeling things for him.
"I don't know anything about you." I say to him.
"You're my therapist aren't you, Miss Fitz? It's your job to get that information out of me." He states with a deep voice.
"So, we're still doing the whole therapist-patient thing? I thought I was fired." I raise my brows at him amusedly and a smirk plays on his face.
"I wouldn't want it any other way. Besides, I think you'll find it fun figuring things about me all by yourself." He whispers and I shiver as his hands cup my ass cheeks. He's so touchy and it's one of the things I love about Dante Russo. He's not afraid to touch me or let me know he wants me.
His intentionality has to be one of his best qualities. He doesn't seem like someone who does things halfway. He looks like when he wants something, he gives it his all and I love that about a man.
"Is that a challenge Mr. Russo?"
"Take it anyway you like." He says and kisses me hard.

"My car is still in the parking lot at my office." I say as Dante pulls over in front of my house.
"I'm your first patient for the day tomorrow yeah? I can come pick you up." He says getting out of his car. He walks towards the passenger's seat and opens the door for me.
"I don't know if it's professional for my patient, who I'm sleeping with, to drive me to work." I say as I step out of the car. Dante smiles at me and intertwines our fingers as he locks his car door. I know Dante and I have had sex and basically seen each and every part of each other's body, but there's something even more intimate about us holding hands that I can't put my finger on.
I still haven't processed the fact that we're basically dating now and I have no odea how I'm going to explain this to Liam. Oh my God. Liam! I completely forgot about him and Naomi and I have no idea how things worked out between both of them back in the club, but as I unlock my front door and come face to face with Naomi and Liam having a snack in the living room and watching a show together, all my worries fly out the window.
"Addie!" Liam exclaims and jumps over the couch, heading towards me with a wide smile on his face. "You're here." He says and envelopes me in a warm hug and I can't help but smile because he looks genuinely happy. His face lights up in a way that I haven't seen in a really long time and I know it has everything to do with him and Naomi being on good terms again.
"Look who's all happy and cheerful." I comment as Naomi walks towards me with a smile on her face. I can't remember the last time I saw Naomi in my house. We used to hang out a lot when she was still in a relationship with Liam but she couldn't hang out with me that much anymore because I was always with Liam and she didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore.
Seeing her here gives me a sort of nostalgic feeling and it fills my heart with so much joy because my best friend is happy.
"Adeline. Hi. I'm sorry if you weren't expecting me here. I just wanted to wait with Liam till you were back." Naomi says looking from me to Dante with a sweet smile.
"Naomi, you know you're always welcome here. I'm really happy to see you, it's been such a long time." I say genuinely.
"Thanks for keeping her safe man. I was worried for a minute there and thought you kidnapped her or something." Liam addresses Dante, giving him a manly handshake and I see an unreadable emotion spark in Dante's eyes before he replaces it with a soft smile.
"Adeline's always safe with me. You can count on it."
I'm highly aware of the fact that I'm wearing Dante's clothes right now and basically every living thing in the room can tell I had sex with him. As if the situation couldn't be awkward enough, I decide to come clean in front of Liam and Naomi about Dante and I.
"Dante and I started dating." I blurt out and Liam and Naomi widen their eyes at the revelation. I look to Dante but he doesn't even look fazed. He has a nonchalant look on his face as he settles his hand around my waist.
"What? You're what? Can you rewind Addie?" Liam's mouth hangs open and I fight the urge to laugh at the situation.
"I'm gonna give you guys some privacy." Dante announces and pulls me close to his chest. He doesn't even care that there's other people in the room right now. He looks down at me, his brown and blue eyes a prominent in the lighting in my living room. His heterochromia is beautiful and I could get lost in his eyes forever. He tilts his head downwards and places a light kiss on my forehead.
"See you later." He breathes and then walks out the door, leaving me standing alone with Liam and Naomi. I immediately want him to come back. I want his hands around me again.
"Oh my God…" Naomi whispers.
"You better start spilling." Liam utters.
I sigh and walk past them, dropping my body on the long couch in the living room. Naomi and Liam sit on either side of me and watch me curiously, excitement in their eyes as they wait for an explanation. While Naomi and Liam were dating, I was close enough to her that she knows a lot of aspects about my life, so I'm comfortable talking about my parents in front of her.
"My parents are coming to town. They're going to spend the rest of the year in New York because of an investment. They're building a new company and the investor is a potential suitor according to what my mom told me. They want me to get married, to a complete stranger. So I asked Dante to pretend to be my boyfriend." I explain.
"He doesn't look like he's pretending. He's so into you!" Naomi giggles.
"I don't trust him." Liam says with a frown.
"You don't even know him Liam. Besides, he kept Addie safe last night and then brought her home. I think he's cool." Naomi says.
"I'm just saying we don't know a lot about the guy. He could have skeletons in his closet. Scary ones." I laugh as the weird face Liam is making and playfully shove his shoulder.
"I'm a therapist Liam. If there are any skeletons in his closet, I'll be the first to find out."
