It started small.
Liora bumped into Mina at breakfast. "Accidentally" spilled hot tea on her skirt.
Mina slapped her.
Later, Zarya cornered Liora in the bathhouse. "Trying to act like first wife? Cute."
That ended in a full-on Ether clash that cracked the walls and scorched half the garden tiles.
Reya tried to intervene. She got punched.
The Academy had to step in. The Council issued a decree: "No bonded female shall engage in hostile acts over the anomaly."
It didn't help.
Kael couldn't breathe without one of them appearing. Couldn't sleep without someone sliding into his bed.
It was paradise.
And it was hell.
