" What was that?" Lance asked Raven as they were in her apartment. She sat with her arms crossed, quitely staring at Lance.
" He was a hudow. Dead human consumed by their shadows.resentments , regrets,and that kind of shit." Raven said calmly. Lance wasn't getting it but he decided to ask no more.
" Well, thanks. Good night." Lance said standing up. He headed to the door and reached out for the door nob but suddenly stopped when he heard Raven's voice.
" Five years ago," Raven said calmly. Lance turned.
" Do you remember?" She asked. Lance slightly shook his head.
" Why?" He asked curiously. Raven shook her head. Lance then came and sat beside her and then looked at her with narrowed eyes.
" By any chance,... Do you know me? I mean five years back."
" Do I?"
" Come on, tell me."
" I don't know you." Raven said looking in his eyes. She then looked before her.
" Actually, I think you're quite familiar." Lance said as he slightly shook his head.
" Many people look like me." Raven stated.
" Looking like you doesn't mean they're like you." There was a moment of silence.
" I think it's better if you stay this way." Raven said after a while standing up. Lance also stood up.
" What do you mean?" He asked curiously. Raven dramatically shook her head.
" Forget it!!" She said and grabbed his hand, dragging him out of the house. Reaching to the door, Lance freed himself.
"Can't you tell me?" He asked again dramatically.
" What is there to tell you?" Raven blurted out and sighed.
" Get out." She told him gesturing at the door with her head.
" No." He said calmly.
Raven pushed him out and gave a small smile to him and then continued to close the door. Lance put his foot on the entrance so the door didn't close. Raven and Lance looked at the foot and then at each other. Raven rolled her eye as Lance only smirked. He then leaned against the door.
" Please, tell me." Lance said politely. Raven breathed out aloud and put her hand on her forehead impatiently.
At the moment Lynx got out of her room.
" Why are the lights still on?" She asked herself in confusion looking around. She then spotted Raven and Lance looking at her. She blinked twice and rubbed her eyes and looked at her wrist intending to look at the watch but there was no watch on her wrist.
* It might be like twelve. Midnight .* Lynx thought. She then robotically turned and entered the room.
Raven and Lance looked at each other. Raven stuck her tongue in her cheek in annoyance. Lance smiled and then got close to Raven and whispered in her ear,
" I will bother you until you tell me." He said with a smile and got out.
" That jerk." Raven cursed and angrily closed the door. When she entered her room, Lynx was sitting on the bed. She was smiling to herself.
" What's your problem?" She asked her in confusion.
" LAVEN." Lynx murmured and then lied back.
" Ugh." Raven said with a frown and also prepared herself to sleep.
Lance entered in the apartment and put the lights on. He then saw Aidan sitting in the living room with closed eyes.
" What?" He asked himself as he then went and came with a blanket to cover him. At the moment, Aidan's eyes opened.Their eyes locked. Aidan originally was waiting for Lance to come home but unless he wanted to be teased, he wouldn't say that. He then glanced at the blanket and then on Lance. At the moment,Lance quickly pulled the blanket off him and struggled to hide it.
" Ahhh," Aidan said in a teasing tone with a smile nodding his head. He then laughed.
" WHAT? I WAS ONLY... ONLY... WHY ARE YOU NOT SLEEPING ON THE BED?" Lance blurted out.
Aidan narrowed his eyes with a knowing smile,
" Ah, it isn't a big deal to be worried about a handsome guy like me." He said confidently, running his hand in his hair.
" Who is handsome?" Lance asked not agreeing with his statement.
" I, Aidan. "
" Stop deceiving yourself." Lance told him jokingly.
In the morning.
Aidan had already finished preparing himself for work. Lance was still peacefully sleeping as he had no work to do. Aidan entered the room with a bucket of water and gently tapped him. Lance ignored him.
" FIRE!! LANCE WAKE UP!" Aidan screamed and Lance immediately got out of the bed asking," Where?" Aidan laughed for a moment.
" YOU!" Lance blurted out angrily and then noticed the bucket of water in Aidan's hand. Before he could say anything, Aidan splashed the water on him. There was a moment of silence.
" Atleast you look better." Aidan said calmly with a thumb up, feeling truly satisfied with his action. Lance just stared at him lazily.
" You sac of bullshit!!!" Lance cursed angrily, Aidan quickly run out of the room and Lance followed him. He then run out of the apartment but Lance stopped on the doorway because there was no way he was going to go out in those wet clothes.
" GOOD DAY!" Lance heard Aidan say that from the distance.
" Freak." Lance murmured to himself and stormed back in the house. He entered in the room and saw the wet floor. He put his hands on his hips and shook his head, with a sigh.
" That stupid dumbass can't give me peace."
He cleaned the house calmly. After wards he cleaned himself up and decided to roam in the streets. He walked with his hands in the pocket, kicking a stone. As his head was still lowered, he bumped into someone. " Sorry." They said at the same time.
" Oh, Lance," Magda said realizing who she had bumped into.
" Good to see you." Lance said calmly. Magda smiled. " Where are you going?" She asked.
"I'm just stretching my legs." Lance said with a smile.
" Oh," Magda said stroking the strands of her hair, behind her ear.
" Well, actually, I will get going. See ya!" Magda said with a smile.
" See ya." Lance said calmly. Magda then went with crossed arms. Lance glanced at her fading. As he turned and saw a small journal on the ground, he picked it up and looked back.
* I guess it belongs to Magda.* He told himself as he dusted it and continued with stretching his legs. He then decided to call Magda.
" Oh, may you please tell me where I could come to get it?" Magda asked politely.
" I will just send it to your home." Lance said avoiding to engage in a long conversation with the lady.
" No, can we met at 'Eat Delicacies ' restaurant."
" Excuse me?" Lance asked confused.
" Thanks to accept the offer." Magda said quickly hanging up. Lance looked at the phone with confusion.
