The meticulous Tarantula was busy trying to hide Aerni so that she could never be found.

Tarantula, who was laying down on Aerni’s lap, rubbed his cheeks and smiled.
“Is this how it feels to have a mother?”

“Your daughter. She will be happy when she meets you, right?”

Tarantula got up and smiled.
Aerni’s eyes trembled.
“You’ll let me… meet her?”
“Yes. Your daughter hates me so much right now. Don’t you think she’ll be happy if I bring her lost mother to her as a gift?”
Tarantula’s face turned dark all of a sudden and he pouted.
Aerni observed his face slowly and recalled their countless conversations. Tarantula stayed by Aerni’s side almost twenty-four hours of the day and talked constantly about her daughter, except for when he was asleep.
