There was an ongoing war going on in my head, and the last time this happened was many years ago. Why was I feeling uneasy over a woman I hated so much?
In my head, even Halo,my wolf wouldn't stop disturbing me. He yearned for Emma. There were so many women in the damned pack. Why Emma?
'I need her. We need her.'
"No, Halo, and you know the reason why." I muttered, feeling the weight of that need start to overwhelm me.
The other day, even while I was buried deep inside Vera, I hadn't been able to stop myself from imagining it had been Emma writhing and moaning underneath me.
"But-"
"No more buts!" I groaned in protest, shutting up Halo's whines.
"Seriously. Fucked. Up." I choked out, slamming my fists into the straw dummy.
