The end of the third grade came faster than expected.
After so many battles, lessons, and crossed emotions, the Supreme Magic Academy prepared to evaluate its students.
The results were revealed before everyone, in a silent and solemn ceremony, as at the end of every cycle.
Liana – Level 100.
A wave of murmurs spread through the hall. Liana had reached the sacred threshold: the gateway to the Supreme Institute.
The professors congratulated her, the students looked at her with respect, and Ares... Ares just looked at her in silence.
Later, in one of the academy's inner gardens, Ares and Liana said goodbye.
"So… this is goodbye," Ares said, with a slightly forced smile.
"It's not goodbye," Liana replied, unable to hide her emotions. "It's a 'see you when you're strong enough to catch up to me.'"
They both laughed softly.
"I'm going to miss you, Liana," Ares murmured.
"And I'll miss you, Ares. You'll always be my best friend."
They hugged one last time.
A hug that held years of friendship, adventures, and shared moments.
It wasn't a romantic farewell, but something purer: an unbreakable bond of friendship.
---
Agust – Level 89.
A clenched fist, a frustrated expression. Despite being the second strongest, he hadn't reached the required level to ascend.
"Ridiculous," he muttered. "I'm stronger than most of those up there."
But something had changed in him.
He didn't yell. He didn't break anything.
He just looked up at the sky, as if understanding there was still more for him to learn.
---
Dana – Level 86.
She didn't say much. She just looked at Liana's name on the graduate list and sighed.
"Good luck, stubborn elf," she whispered.
Then her gaze shifted to Ares, walking away alone.
"And you… you still have a choice to make," she said with a faint smile.
---
Tony and Emma – Voluntary Withdrawal.
Their decision surprised many, but not those who knew their story.
They had found something greater than power: the freedom to live as they wished.
They left together, with laughter and promises, leaving the academy behind — but not their friends.
---
Ares – Level 76.
His progress had been remarkable. From always being in the shadows, now his name was among the most talked about.
But he didn't care about the applause.
He watched the blue flame dance in his palm. He no longer feared it…
But there was still much he had to understand.
He simply raised his eyes toward the tallest tower of the Supreme Institute, where Liana would now be.
"Wait for me," he whispered. "I won't fall behind."
And so, with new paths ahead, the group that had once been one began to part — not out of weakness,
but because fate was guiding them toward different horizons.
But they knew one thing:
The bond that united them had not yet been broken.
