The feeling brought by the double dragon patterns was twice as strong. Rossweise only needed to gently run her fingertips over Leon's skin to create an exaggerated, electric effect.
Leon bit his lip, frowned, and clenched his fists tightly. He was using all his strength to fight against his own instincts and urges. But the electric surge from the dragon patterns was like a wild flood, washing over his crumbling sanity.
Rossweise didn't even need to do much. Just looking down at him, just smiling at him, was enough to ignite a fierce fire inside him.
"Double dragon patterns… What does that feel like, Leon? Can you tell me?"
She smiled, a captivating and charming smile, like a dangerous fairy.
When excited, a dragon only thinks about two things: destruction and conquest. They don't think about anything else. And Rossweise was currently in this exact state of excitement.
Leon was holding back his urges. In the same way, Rossweise was suppressing her dragon instincts. She wanted so badly to merge with the prey beneath her, to destroy his body, his will, and his pride. She wanted to use the most unbearable methods to force him to beg for mercy, to satisfy the desire to conquer in her heart. But she couldn't, not yet. She wanted to slowly, bit by bit, thoroughly enjoy and torment everything about him.
Leon's patience, his resistance, the way he clearly wanted to let go of reason and sink into the Queen's softness but, because of the dragon slayer's pitiful pride, desperately held onto his last line—all of this was part of Rossweise's revenge.
Rossweise reached out and gently brushed the back of her hand against Leon's feverish cheek. Admiring his stubborn, struggling face, she sincerely praised her nominal husband, "You're still handsome, Leon, just like two years ago. The scars on your face have faded, but you have a new tiredness and maturity. You have the feeling of a seasoned man now."
That simple touch stirred the fire deep in Leon's heart. He gritted his teeth, holding onto his last bit of reason. But he knew that, in the end, he still couldn't resist the call of the dragon pattern.
Plus, Rossweise had tampered with his armor, adding another dragon pattern to it.
Under this double attack… no one could withstand it. And this was the back mountain, far from the temple, with no one around. Here, Rossweise could completely let her wild side out without any worry or restraint.
"Ugh! Damn it—"
Leon let out a low growl. The dragon pattern's response grew even stronger, and he could no longer fight it.
Rossweise's eyes curved into two happy crescents, full of endless suggestion and softness.
"Leon! Leon~ Leon…"
The dragon pattern was also washing over Rossweise's reason. She had even started calling Leon's name without thinking. Suddenly, the Queen's waist went soft, and she slumped onto the breastplate of the Black Gold War Chariot Armor.
The firm armor slightly squished the two soft, full mounds beneath it.
Leon felt a secret relief that there was still a layer of armor between them. Otherwise, their dragon patterns would be touching right now.
But Leon's happiness came too soon.
Then, Rossweise slowly brought her face closer to his; silver strands of hair fell down, the ends lightly tickling Leon's forehead and nose.
It was a tickling, tingling feeling. But what felt even itchier was Leon's heart. Their lips were very close, only a finger's width apart.
Leon could even feel the heat of Rossweise's breath on his face. This was a move she had never made before.
So close, so very close.
So close that if one of them took a slightly deeper breath, their lips would touch.
"Rossweise…"
"Hmph, this is just revenge, Leon."
Leon's vision became blurry, and his breathing grew heavier.
Before the dragon pattern completely swallowed his consciousness, the last thing he saw was Rossweise's emotional, tender dragon eyes.
(:)
After an unknown amount of time, Leon slowly woke up. Every muscle and joint ached. A slight movement made his bones creak.
It felt like someone had broken all the bones in his body and then put them back together. Gritting his teeth, he sat up and leaned against the cold wall behind him.
Lifting his head, he looked forward. Rossweise seemed to have also just recovered from her exhaustion, putting her clothes back on methodically.
The glow of the dragon pattern, like a dying campfire, flickered twice and then went out.
After getting dressed, Rossweise carefully placed the scattered pieces of the Black Gold War Chariot Armor back into the box. Her movements were light and precise, showing she was being very careful.
After putting the box back in its place, Rossweise walked slowly to a spot about three meters in front of Leon and sat down, leaning against one of the display racks.
The Queen also looked tired. A light blush still colored her face. Her tail lay limp on the floor beside her, and her silver hair was a little messy.
Leon's body was against the cold stone wall. Even though his eyelids felt heavy, he still met Rossweise's gaze.
The atmosphere between them was delicate and strange, as if the intense moments from before had never happened.
"I want to rest a bit more before we go back," Leon said.
"Okay."
Her voice sounded a little hoarse. She probably got too into it earlier, and her throat was dry.
Leon looked at her tired face and felt that her mood seemed a little low, too.
From their several "encounters," Leon had already noticed this pattern.
But thinking about it, it made sense.
While she was humiliating Leon in this way, she was also testing her own limits and tormenting herself. The thrill of revenge only existed in the moment, not afterwards.
But Leon didn't ask or show concern for Rossweise. He knew that in a few minutes, she would be fine again, back to being the cold, scheming Silver Dragon Queen.
Leon silently leaned in the corner, head down, not saying a word.
Sizzling—
The sound of fabric rubbing against skin again.
Leon thought Rossweise was getting up to leave, so he looked up. To his surprise, Rossweise was slowly crawling towards him.
She moved on her hands and knees, her tail swaying casually behind her. Even though Leon was clearly watching her, she acted like she was sneaking up on him, cautious and playful, like a cat.
Leon pressed his lips together and shrank back. "What are you doing?"
She crawled right up to Leon, put one hand on his thigh, and used the other to gently lift his chin.
Their noses were almost touching, just like when they were close to kissing during their intimate moment earlier.
But now, Rossweise's dragon eyes didn't have that emotional softness. Instead, they held a… very familiar playfulness and teasing.
Just as Leon had thought a moment ago, her low mood had passed. She was back to being that scheming Queen.
The Queen said softly, "Leon, your body… doesn't seem as strong as it used to be, hmm?"
