Chapter 5 - (4) Kimmi’s Affair

Kimmi looked genuinely exhausted. "Alright, let me walk you to the room," I said. "I'll hang with these guys a bit longer and join you soon."

She got all nervous. "No way, I don't wanna be alone. I'll stay with you."

Despite her tired eyes, she was suddenly insistent on staying, like she was worried about what we might say behind her back. It gave me this weird vibe, but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. Kimmi sprawled out on the couch, and I sat on the floor, my head resting close to hers. The tall guy, about 190cm, introduced himself as Tyson. Turns out, he went to the same university as Kimmi and Alex, just a different major, so Kimmi didn't know him.

We kept drinking, and within an hour, the guys were pushing beers hard. Not wanting to get too trashed, I slowed down, saying I'd catch up later. Kimmi, who'd stopped drinking, was already a bit out of it, dozing off on the couch. Seeing her passed out, I got playful and asked, "Got any fun stories about Kimmi from school?"

Tyson, all serious, said, "Not much to tell. Kimmi's usually holed up in the library. She doesn't join in on much, but watch out for her girl friends."

I raised an eyebrow. "Watch out for what?"

Tyson smirked. "She's got two friends who are super wild—always hitting up clubs. Be careful they don't drag Kimmi out. A girlfriend that hot? Someone might try to steal her."

I laughed it off. "Nah, Kimmi's not the clubbing type. She wouldn't go."

Alex chimed in, "Yeah, Kimmi's a good girl. Not into that stuff."

Tyson shot Alex a look, like he was hinting at something. "You're her good friend. You'd know best, right?"

Alex quickly deflected, "Bro, you're tipsy. Don't talk nonsense. Go sleep it off."

That weird feeling crept up again. Tyson seemed a little buzzed, so I figured it was the perfect time to dig for more dirt. I poured him a full glass, clinked mine against it, and we downed them. Alex, looking like he was scared Tyson might spill something, dragged him out to the garden for a smoke. I followed, and there they were, admiring Kimmi's black bikini hanging in the garden.

Tyson, with a gleam in his eye, said, "Man, that pool scene earlier was wild. Kimmi's got an amazing body, huh?"

I grinned, playing it cool. "Hell yeah, she's perfect."

Tyson kept going. "If I had a girlfriend like that, no way I'd let her go. Right, Alex?"

Alex, who'd been quiet, snapped, "Don't talk crap. Her boyfriend's right here. You get decked, I'm not saving you."

Something felt off. Was there more to Kimmi and Alex than just "friends"? Did he have a thing for her? That weird feeling in my gut stirred again, pushing me to dig deeper. "No worries," I said, shrugging. "A girlfriend that perfect? I'd be shocked if people didn't fantasize. Honestly, it makes me kinda proud."

Tyson, seeing I was chill, got bolder. "Real talk—Kimmi's chest… is it as soft as it looks?"

I chuckled. "Yup, impossible to keep your hands off. But how'd you know?"

Tyson glanced at Alex, suddenly nervous. "Whoa, don't get the wrong idea! I just… heard some stuff."

My curiosity spiked, but weirdly, I wasn't mad—I was kind of thrilled. Pretending to be shocked, I said, "Heard stuff?"

Tyson, panicking now, stammered, "Not like that! But don't get mad if I tell you, okay?"

My heart was racing. "Spill it, man. I swear I won't get mad."
