Chapter 59 - CHAPTER 59

c59: The End! Bulma's Invitation

As everyone was still awestruck by the sight of the seven colossal Super Dragon Balls rotating in the vastness of space, a sudden surge of divine energy rippled across the void.

BUZZ!

The seven golden orbs radiated an intense, blinding golden light, pulsing with overwhelming power. The golden glow was more dazzling than a sunburst, flooding the surroundings and shaking the cosmos.

Then, it happened.

A vast silhouette began to form from the radiance. A massive, cosmic dragon, its figure coalescing in light appeared in the shape of a vague yet majestic shadow.

ROOOOOAAARRR!!!

The roar of Super Shenron echoed across the entire universe, resonating beyond the boundaries of time and space. Even distant galaxies seemed to tremble. It was the roar of a being created by the Dragon God Zalama, one who could grant literally any wish without restriction.

Simultaneously, somewhere in the distant reaches of space, the colossal golden dragon swam through the void like a divine serpent. Entire planets looked like dust motes in its presence. Its jaw opened wide—big enough to swallow a star and in an instant, a full celestial body vanished into its maw!

Back near the Super Dragon Balls, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and the others suddenly felt the pull of a powerful suction force.

"Wha?! What's going on?!" Goku shouted, trying to steady himself as the world spun.

The cube they stood on, along with their entire group, was being drawn into the vast, golden mouth of Super Shenron!

"Calm down!" Whis said with a peaceful smile as the space around them distorted. "We're not being eaten. This is the summoning process. We're entering Shenron's inner world. There, we'll see his true form."

Only Whis's explanation stopped the others from panicking. Still, the divine power was enough to rattle even Vegeta and Piccolo.

Time lost meaning as they traveled within the dragon's divine realm. Eventually, they found themselves floating in what looked like an endless cosmic sea. There, suspended in the darkness, the true form of Super Shenron slowly revealed itself.

The golden god-dragon loomed over everything, its holy aura illuminating the fabric of the void. Each scale of its body shimmered like entire galaxies. Its eyes glowed with an ancient divine knowledge. It was beyond words—the embodiment of ultimate power and divinity.

"Th-this… is the dragon summoned by the Super Dragon Balls?" Piccolo muttered, overwhelmed. As a Namekian, creator of Earth's Dragon Balls and descendent of the race that first learned to craft them, he had a natural connection to such beings.

But this... this dragon made even Porunga of Namek and Earth's Shenron seem like small illusions in comparison.

"No wonder... it's said that Earth's Dragon Balls were created from fragments of these," Piccolo whispered. "This power... it's unfathomable."

"I-is it gonna grant our wish now?" Goku asked in awe, peering up at the behemoth.

Whis gave a small nod and raised his scepter. "Yes. Lord Beerus, now is the time. Please make your wish."

Beerus hovered forward, arms crossed as usual, wearing a contemplative look. Despite his usual arrogance, even he showed a rare sense of reverence before this godly dragon.

He muttered, "Tch. I always forget that the Super Dragon Balls require the Divine Language."

Behind him, Bulma folded her arms and glared. "And remember what I told you, Beerus! Don't go making any selfish wishes behind our backs. No asking for more sleep, or an all-you-can-eat buffet planet, or heaven forbid a universe-sized massage chair."

Beerus twitched and growled, "I KNOW, okay?! You've told me ten times already!!"

Bulma narrowed her eyes, unconvinced.

The God of Destruction let out a sigh and turned toward Whis. "Fine. Let's do this. Whis, you'll make the wish for me, just like before. You remember what I want, right?"

Whis smiled. "Yes, Lord Beerus."

He then floated upward slightly, raised his scepter, and with a flash of divine green aura, began chanting in the Language of the Gods. The sound reverberated through the space like a sacred hymn.

"Takkaraputo Popporunga Pupirittopā..."

As he spoke, Super Shenron's eyes glowed even brighter. The realm trembled as the wish was about to be granted.

After hesitating for a moment, Beerus cleared his throat, organizing his thoughts. Then, in a calm and regal tone, he began to speak in the Language of the Gods, a divine dialect that none of the mortals present could understand. His words flowed like a mystical chant, rhythmic and ancient.

Everyone: "..."

Even Luya couldn't help but stare in confusion, his eyes narrowing. At first, he didn't feel anything special, but upon hearing the melodic tones, he was stunned. It really did sound more like birds chirping than speech...

Soon after, Beerus finished. He turned to Whis and gave a nod. "That's the wish. Go ahead."

Whis raised an eyebrow, mildly surprised, then responded, "Very well, Lord Beerus."

Without delay, Whis stepped forward and spoke once more in the God Language, reciting the divine phrase that would complete the ritual. His words echoed with harmonic resonance, blending with the energy of Super Shenron, whose immense golden body towered in the darkness of space.

Then

BZZZZZZZ!!!

The Super Dragon's glowing crimson eyes lit up again, flashing intensely for a brief moment. A surge of divine power swept across the inner space. Then, as suddenly as it began, the glow faded.

In a booming yet majestic voice that only divine beings could comprehend, Super Shenron declared:

"Your wish... has been granted. Farewell."

Whis gave a small respectful bow.

Immediately afterward, the colossal golden dragon let out a deafening roar that resonated across the multiverse, shaking space itself with its divine might.

RRRROOOOOOOAAAAARRRRR!!!

Then, in an awe-inspiring flash, Super Shenron's immense body began to dissolve into golden particles. His massive form vanished, and the seven Super Dragon Balls suddenly reappeared in the void, now inert.

The next moment, they shot off in seven different directions, scattering across Universe 6 and Universe 7, just like last time.

No one knew where they would end up.

"Was... that it?" Goku asked, rubbing the back of his head under the quiet, starlit space.

"Yeah... seems like it's over," Piccolo replied solemnly.

"What?! That was so anticlimactic!" Bulma cried. "Wait a second—Lord Beerus! What wish did you make?!"

Beerus turned away casually, arms crossed. "Hmph. That's a secret."

"Secret, my foot!" Bulma shouted. "After all that effort collecting those planet-sized Dragon Balls, we deserve to know!"

"That's right!" Goku added. "C'mon, Beerus-sama! Don't be stingy!"

The God of Destruction sighed dramatically, then relented with a smirk. "Fine! If you must know... I wished for the most luxurious, softest, ultimate bed in the universe! One worthy of a god!"

"...WHAT?!" Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

"You serious?!" Bulma exploded. "You wasted a wish that can revive entire universes on a bed?! I could've had that delivered in 30 minutes with Capsule Corp tech!"

Beerus flared in anger. "You DARE question a God of Destruction?! I ought to!"

Bulma glared right back, completely unfazed. "Oh, please! Save it for someone who's scared of you. The least you could've done is wished for something useful!"

"Hmph! Whatever's done is done," Beerus huffed. "Whis! Let's head back. This party's over."

"As you wish, Lord Beerus," Whis chuckled, always amused by these antics. He tapped his staff, and their cube began shimmering with angelic light.

Bulma crossed her arms. "Tch. What a waste of a galactic trip…"

"I dunno, Bulma," Goku said, beaming. "I think it was awesome! I got to fight amazing warriors from another universe. Hit, Cabba, Frost—it was all so exciting!"

"Hmph. Single-celled organism…" Bulma muttered, shaking her head.

Goku turned to Luya. "Hey! You did great out there too. Luya, right?"

Luya snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. "Ah, yeah."

"So what's next? Got any plans?" Goku asked curiously.

Luya thought for a moment, then said, "I'll stay at The Lookout for now. I still need to stabilize my energy."

Goku nodded in understanding. "Makes sense!"

Just then, Bulma stepped forward with a sly smile. "Actually, Luya, I have an idea. Since you did such a great job helping Universe 7, and you've got nowhere to go right now... how about I give you a house?"

"Huh?" Luya blinked, surprised. "Really?"

"Sure!" Bulma said cheerfully. "It's one of my spare places—close to my main residence too! You won't have to live like a hermit up at the Temple all day. And hey, whenever you feel like sparring, Vegeta's just a call away!"

Luya blinked again. There was clearly an ulterior motive here… but he appreciated the offer.

Vegeta, meanwhile, snorted. He had a feeling Bulma was up to something.

He wasn't wrong—Bulma had seen how Luya had surpassed even Vegeta in combat during the tournament. She figured if they trained together, Vegeta might finally close the gap with Goku.

"Tch," Vegeta grunted, but he didn't object.

Luya eventually nodded with a small smile. "Alright. Thank you... I accept."
