Evan couldn't figure out what was going on in Elena's mind. Was she acting this way because he hadn't attended her father's birthday party? As he observed her sitting happily with a smile, Evan questioned himself. But she knew that he was on a business trip. So, why was she acting like this? Evan's fists tightened in secret as he felt an unfamiliar rage building up inside him against her.
"Let's start, shall we?" Elena said, smiling as the meeting immediately gained momentum. After all, being the shareholders, nobody had time to waste.
