Kaelwyn's eyes were hopeful, therefore, Eryndor couldn't refuse any longer. His former instructor just naps after leaving him to read all the books he picked, and if he tried to ask a question, he'd snap and get angry. But if Eryndor glared at him, he'd run away in fear.
Now, standing in front of the burly old man, it feels the opposite. Eryndor felt intimidated. No matter how he glared at the old man, Eryndor will only receive that impassive look, devoid of fear from his crimson eyes.
The young prince thought that Artheon Amos was just fulfilling whatever favor he had to pay to Priest Kaelwyn, but he was wrong.
As soon as their class started, the old man became serious and focused. He was eloquent and observant. He quickly realized what points Eryndor had to focus on and what his strengths and weaknesses were, thus, Artheon quickly provided a plan on how to teach the young crown prince.
