Victor's lips softened against Elias's one last time before he began to pull away, breath shallow, the edge of restraint fraying. He eased back only by a fraction, just enough to give Elias space, to let him breathe, to choose.
But Elias didn't let him go.
His hands, fisted now in the front of Victor's shirt, tugged sharply, dragging him forward again with a force that surprised them both. His mouth found Victor's with hunger barely restrained.
Elias kissed like a man who had run out of reasons not to.
Victor's control shattered.
He growled low in his throat, the sound vibrating through Elias's chest as he pushed him back onto the bed, following him down without breaking the kiss. Their legs tangled together, and Victor's knee pressed between Elias's thighs, forcing them apart.
