The word left his lips as his breathing stopped, caught between pain and disbelief, because he never imagined seeing the guy who left him to die, right here, in another city.

Donny's grin finally vanished, there was a flicker of something in his eyes, maybe regret or anger, but it disappeared as quickly as it came.
The next second, his fist crashed into Dorian's stomach, sending a new wave of nausea through his gut.

Donny slammed him again, shoulder-first, into the concrete wall. Dust exploded from the impact and the wall shattered.
Dorian's vision blurred again, his arms went limp for a second, blood rushing to his head. He barely heard Donny's voice over the high-pitched ringing in his ears.

Dorian coughed and spat out blood, his feet brushed the ground, trying to stabilize himself, but Donny pinned him hard with his forearm.
