Chapter 80 - “War Against the Underworld”

On planet Earth...

Not everything was as it used to be. Some people noticed a strange crack in the sky, as if it were breaking apart from within.

Suddenly, that crack began to widen little by little, and behind it appeared a crimson sky — red like boiling blood in the void.

Then, from the depths of the crack, a gigantic eye opened. A massive creature gazed toward the Earth, and a single glance from it was enough to plant terror into human hearts. Some died instantly from fear, others fainted, and the rest ran without direction — just to avoid looking upon that horrifying being.

The creature opened its mouth and released a roar that shook the planet. Its voice was heard across all continents, and everyone who heard it died in less than a second.

When the echo faded, the creature stretched out its gigantic hands from the crack, revealing itself to be a blue dragon, so enormous that the continents seemed small beneath its shadow.

It spread its wings, covering nearly half the planet, and the winds from its flapping destroyed mountains and erased cities. Amid this chaos, only two humans remained standing: Loris and Infernos.

They stood firm, without a hint of fear. The storm tore the earth apart around them, yet their gazes remained fixed on the dragon.

The creature descended before them, the ground trembling under its weight. With each flap of its wings, entire oceans evaporated from the sheer force.

The dragon spoke in a deep, gravelly voice:

> "How strange... Only two survived after hearing my roar?"

Loris answered in a thunderous voice, filled with rage:

> "You bastard! You've slaughtered all the people of my empire!"

Sparks of lightning began crackling from his hands, and above him formed a black storm cloud raining thunder and lightning.

But Infernos reached out and grabbed his friend's arm, saying calmly:

> "Loris, control yourself. This creature is not an easy opponent."

Loris snapped:

> "But he destroyed everything!"

Infernos replied firmly:

> "Calm down… Don't lose your temper."

Loris took a deep breath, then stepped back. Infernos advanced toward the dragon and asked:

> "Who are you? And why did you do this?"

The dragon laughed, its voice splitting the air like thunder:

> "A rift opened in the underworld... in the Abyss itself. It gave me a path to your world, so I took the chance — to destroy!

And I'm not the only one. Billions of demons will soon follow to turn this world into ashes!"

Infernos smiled lightly, then burst into mad laughter.

The dragon growled in anger:

> "What's so funny?"

Infernos answered mockingly:

> "Nothing... but you're not even worth a single finger of mine. If every creature in the underworld is as weak as you, it would take me no more than three seconds to annihilate you all!"

The dragon's eyes blazed with fury, and it launched a sudden attack. It fired a massive blue beam at the speed of sound, piercing continents in an instant.

Infernos sat calmly on the ground, as if resting on a peaceful beach, showing no concern.

But before the beam reached him, a massive explosion thundered across the horizon, filling the sky with golden dust.

When the smoke cleared, Loris was holding the dragon's claw with one hand, having stopped the attack effortlessly.

The dragon roared in shock and tried to break free, but Loris lifted it into the air and hurled it with such force that it crashed into the edge of the planet.

The Earth shook as though about to tear apart.

But the dragon didn't surrender. It spread its wings again and returned at lightning speed, unleashing a meteor rain the size of entire galaxies. Trillions of celestial bodies fell upon the planet as if the sky itself had collapsed.

Loris calmly raised his hand and whispered:

> "Disappear."

In an instant, a wave of thunderous energy radiated from him, obliterating every meteor in a second — as if they never existed.

The dragon was stunned and backed away, then summoned dozens of magical circles that unleashed all the elements of nature — flames, lightning, volcanoes, hurricanes, and tidal waves that swallowed mountains.

Loris blocked them easily at first, but one struck his shoulder, burning his cloak and revealing his glowing, lightning-charged body.

He smiled slightly, then said:

> "It's time… to show you what divine wrath means."

He raised his hands toward the sky, forming an enormous magic circle the size of the dragon itself.

From it, billions of violet spears shot forth, piercing the dragon's body and burning it until its head and half its torso vaporized.

But the creature reformed its head and body instantly, roaring in madness.

Suddenly, its body began shrinking until it took on a human form — a tall man with shining blue hair and eyes blazing like meteors.

He spoke with a cold smile:

> "That's better... Now we can fight as equals."

He dashed forward with incredible speed, unleashing a storm of punches so powerful that even space itself trembled.

Loris barely managed to block them.

He vanished for a moment, then appeared behind the dragon and delivered a kick wrapped in cosmic lightning.

Time stopped for a second, then exploded in blinding light.

But the dragon blocked the kick with one hand and sliced off Loris's leg in an instant.

Loris fell to the ground, lightning crackling from his body, but Infernos simply pointed his finger — and Loris's leg regenerated instantly.

Loris shouted:

> "Looks like there's no choice but to unleash my full power!"

The ground split beneath him, and black lightning burst from its depths, covering the sky in darkness.

Loris vanished in a flash and appeared behind the dragon.

With a single punch, he shattered the boundaries between worlds and sent the dragon crashing deep into the underworld.

Infernos clapped his hands with a light smile and said:

> "Congratulations… a splendid victory, Loris."

Loris caught his breath and said:

> "Why didn't you help me?"

Infernos smiled and replied:

> "If I had interfered, I would've ended the fight in just three seconds. I wanted to let you enjoy the battle."

Loris said seriously:

> "That doesn't matter now… We must prepare — many more are coming."

Infernos raised his hand toward the sky and said:

> "Before we prepare… there's something I must do first."

A massive golden circle formed, covering the entire planet. A radiant light engulfed the Earth until it shone like a brilliant star.

When the light subsided, all of Earth's inhabitants were revived — not just humans, but every living being, even plants and rivers, restored to life as before.

Loris stared in disbelief and asked:

> "How did you do that?!"

Infernos smiled confidently and answered:

> "Thanks to my master… who taught me how to create just as I destroy."

Then he looked toward the horizon, his eyes blazing like fire, and said firmly:

> "Now… let's prepare for the coming war."

To be continued...
