Bibi Dong set down the scroll in her hands—the final approval for the detailed implementation of the Empire's new Laws.
Outside the hall the sun shone brightly; after its baptism of blood and fire the city was now functioning in a fresh, vibrant way.
Yet just as she rose to enjoy a moment of quiet, a tremor from the deepest heart of the World made her jerk her head up.
In eyes that blended Asura's killing intent with Rakshasa's seductive malice, a flash of unmistakable shock appeared.
She could clearly feel the solid floor beneath her feet, the entire Spirit City, the whole Douluo Continent, "breathing" in a subtle rhythm.
The pulse of the World seemed to leap from a dying old man to a man in his prime—strong and vigorous.
The ambient energy density no longer crept upward; it surged upward savagely. Elemental motes that once required meditation to sense now condensed until they were almost tangible, visible to the naked eye.
But that was not the key.
What truly shook her was that the divine force inside her—already fused perfectly with her God Position and at the Mortal Realm limit—was now being firmly suppressed by an invisible barrier.
This barrier was born of the natural Law of the Douluo plane itself, a restriction every Divinity had to obey while in the Mortal Realm.
Yet now the supposedly unbreakable barrier was emitting crack after crack, like glass about to shatter.
Her divine force, like a wild beast freed from eons of chains, began to grow madly, without end!
"Douluo Star… has evolved," Bibi Dong murmured, voice tinged with awe.
She instantly understood what it meant.
This was the work of Xuan Ming and Gu Yuena—they had succeeded!
Without hesitation Bibi Dong stood. Blood-red and dark-purple light erupted from her body, terrifying and radiant. Her Asura God core and Rakshasa God core, long since fused, now met no obstruction under the plane's Ascension.
She closed her eyes; her Divine Thought instantly locked onto the spatial anchor of the asura god position within the God Realm.
"Hum—!"
A blood-colored pillar of light shot skyward, tearing open the heavens above Spirit City as a majestic gate of slaughter and judgment slowly unfolded.
The moment of Ascension had arrived.
Bibi Dong cast one last look at the city she had striven for all her life, and at the resplendent Angel God Temple not far away. Her gaze was complex, but in the end it turned resolute. She stepped forward and vanished into the crimson gate.

Almost simultaneously Qian Renxue felt the earth-shaking change. The Angel Divine Power inside her surged like a bursting dam through every limb and vein.
The exhilaration of throwing off every shackle and rising without limit nearly overwhelmed her; she could feel herself growing stronger than ever before.
Yet alongside that power came an inexplicable, tangled hesitation.
She knew it was all because of Xuan Ming.
That man had become more powerful than she had ever imagined—so mighty he could alter the very Foundation of a World and casually bestow the strength she had dreamed of.
She also sensed Bibi Dong's decisive opening of the Ascension gate; that woman had rushed toward the God Realm without a backward glance, toward that man's side.
But she herself hesitated.
She suddenly did not know how to face Xuan Ming. The resentment and unwillingness that once sustained her had collapsed the instant she personally drove the Angelic Sacred Sword into his chest.
And the love and guilt hidden deep in her heart now seemed pale—ridiculous—before the absolute gulf in power.
In what capacity should she meet the man already standing at the World's summit, looking down on all beings? As an enemy? A lover? Or merely a pitiful creature he had casually raised up?
In the end she stayed in the Angel God Temple, quietly feeling her strength grow while her heart remained lost… Sea God Island.
Bo Saixi stood atop Sea God Mountain Peak, gazing at the endless ocean. When the plane-Ascension aura swept over, her blue dress billowed without wind and Sea God divine force within her cheered. She, too, sensed the chance to ascend.
Behind her Xiao Wu, Hu Liena, Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, Dugu Yan, Ye Lingling and the others ended their Cultivation, faces full of shock and joy. Their respective God Position Legacies had long been completed; only the plane's rules had capped their strength at the Mortal Realm Peak.

"Let's go, to the God Realm," Bo Saixi said, a trace of anticipation in her voice. "To see him."
Without hesitation the women turned into streams of light and plunged into their respective divine gates... to the God Realm, to the God Forbidden Land.
At the very moment Bibi Dong and Bo Saixi ascended, Xuan Ming, who was expanding the God Realm with Gu Yuena, flashed a smile.
"Expansion alone isn't exciting enough," he said, glancing at Gu Yuena. "Time to give them a little boost."
Gu Yuena looked at him, silver eyes also smiling, and nodded gently.
With a single thought, Xuan Ming split off a branch of the boundless, supremely pure creative torrent—formed from the Fusion of his godhood power and the Dragon God Power—that was remaking the core of the God Realm.
This force could no longer be described as mere energy.
It held Xuan Ming's ultimate understanding of the Laws of "Negation" and "Dominion", and the Dragon God's absolute mastery over the Origins of "Creation" and "Destruction".
It was true "God King Origin", a supreme treasure that would drive any Divinity mad with desire.
Silently, this branch divided in the Void Realm, ignoring spatial distance and Law barriers, and in a way that transcended Karma, poured with perfect precision into the women who had just set foot in the God Realm and had yet to acclimate.
Even Qian Renxue, far away in the Angel God Temple on Douluo Continent, still lost in her heart, was quietly enveloped by the largest and fiercest current.

Bo Saixi, who had just stepped through the Ascension Gate and not yet found her footing, felt an irresistible, boundless power surge into her divine soul and divine body like the entire Universe pouring backward.
Her newly-stabilized Peak first-rank divine force had no chance to struggle; under this power it began a frantic, unimaginable transformation!

In unison they turned their eyes toward the very center of the God Realm—the forbidden zone shrouded in chaotic creative divine light.
They could clearly sense that the source of the power that granted them rebirth and strength was right there.
No words were needed, none were exchanged.
Several brilliant streams of light carrying God King might tore across the sky of the newborn God Realm, racing toward the God Forbidden Land with complex, urgent hearts.
